My son's therapists always let me know how he is doing after each session and even did their own full evaluations even though he has records from previous practices. However, after a MONTH of attending, she then informed me that she hadn't seen my daughter exhibit the behavior we were there for in the first place (which basically means I was paying $30 a week for my daughter to play in a ball pit and do the alphabet. Neither of which addresses our reason for being there). Throughout our time there, I made it very clear to all involved that as of August 20th, we would no longer be using them as my daughter would be starting kindergarten, and our time wouldn't work anymore. They offered several times to put me on a waiting list for a weekend time slot, which I declined as we live 45 min away. I had to cancel my daughter's last session and again reiterated that we wouldn't be back due to kindergarten. Well, come August 20th, I was charged $50 for a no show. They claim they had no idea we wouldn't be returning and say I never canceled our future sessions. I spoke to MULTIPLE PEOPLE. No one there communicates. Someone at the front desk even apologized saying they recently changed "some things around" and that things have been a bit "disorganized ". A BIT? So after multiple appeals on my end to get the $50 charge refunded, they simply reply to me, "the charge is valid and will not be waved." (Excellent customer service, right?) I mean they literally rob you. And guess what? After six total weeks there, I never even received a report or ANYTHING on my daughter (despite being told at the end of every session that one was being put together). I still haven't seen anything documenting what was done, observed, NOTHING. I mean they are truly unhelpful, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I have never been this disappointed nor dissatisfied with a professional medical office in my life. Stay as far away as you can.

I went to Team Rehab a couple of weeks ago for a complimentary injury screen, which I heard from…read moremy friend. I've had pain in my upper back and neck for the past 3 weeks, so I figured I'd give it a try. I met Dr. Oi at Team Rehab, who was very respectful and professional. He made me feel welcome when I walked into his clinic. He was very knowledgeable about my issue and was able to help me relieve my pain through educating me with stretching and strengthening exercises that I can do at home. He called me a week later to see how I was doing and I told him that the pain was gone. Team Rehab was great and I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

Until very recently, he was only able to be seen (elsewhere) once every 2 weeks for Speech. At the same location, we were waitlisted for three months just for an OT evaluation! Needless to say, that was NOT working for us! My son needs more intensive (weekly!) services. Turning Wheels Therapy came recommended by another professional we saw. The owner, Amy, worked with me to get my son in for both therapies on the same scheduled day, and at a time that luckily worked with our crazy schedule. I am SO appreciative of that!! My son really enjoys his OT with Erin and his Speech with Kelsey. Both have been great with my questions. Erin especially has been great with providing me with resources and information regarding OT-based activities and supports. They are currently remodeling their basement area to better accommodate OT/equipment, and I am excited to see the final results! I am very happy that we found private services that works for us. My son is making great gains already, and that makes life easier for all of us!

Keep in mind my daughter had already done multiple horse back riding sessions through our special needs recreation department. They said they thought the horse was probably also too small after the session. (Not our fault). Fast forward less than a week and we get a call saying she can't participate anymore because of safety. Keep in mind NONE of this was articulated to me after the session. It was "it's okay, lots of kids have a hard first session. We will see you next week". Nope. They won't even try again. If your kid has behavior issues, don't count on hummingbird. Ridiculous experience.

You can tell the people who created the Hummingbird facilities put so much attention to detail into this place. The bright, vibrant colors put everyone in a calm and upbeat mood! Super happy with my son's therapist, Rachel. Huge facility with so many resources. They can even help your child ride a bicycle. They offer aquatics as well programs with horses. Just amazing stuff! They have a really neat gym as well. The minute you walk in the door your mood gets elevated. Such a happy place! My son is here for occupational therapy to help with fine motor skills development. However they offer almost any program you can imagine including talk therapy to help with emotions. Honestly, can't say enough about this facility and this is after our first visit! I was concerned my son was going to be bored and feel like this was work. However, the therapist makes everything fun and enjoyable. My son loves it!
