I got home and iced but needless to say my knee swelled up to the size of 16in softball I had one more visit explained what happened but realized this wasn't the place for me and canceled the rest of my sessions after talking to my Orthopedic Doctor. There were a couple of good therapist there but unfortunately you don't get to pick you are just scheduled and from one not listening to one being 15-20min late I realized that 2 good ones out of the 5 I seen makes a bad experience and that this place wasn't for me

That…read moreunfortunately became a reality in 2023, after I was hit head-on by a wrong-way driver with dementia on I-39. I just wanted to take the time to recognize the staff at Thrive of Lisle, as they took great care of me. Shoutouts to CNA's Alan & Harrison; nurses Shirley, Mark and Gina. They are the best! Kellie from activities, Jerome and Sue are always roving the halls and engaging with residents. The positivity and enthusiasm of the staff is truly contagious, and made this long recovery journey easier for me. Therapists Susan, Ed, Keyenna and Tiffany have been helping me work towards my goal to be able to walk again and use my left arm. I love Thrive of Lisle, and the staff here. 2023 was easily the darkest time of my life. I nearly lost my life, and was not sure if I'd ever walk again, or be able to return to the career that I love. The staff at Thrive treated me like family. I can't tell you how much happiness and hope that CNA Alan, Nurse Shirley & Kellie brought into my life during this time. They are truly special people. I still come back to thrive and visit at least 4 times a year. It's rewarding for me to visit the current patients during activities time, as well as spreading positivity and encouragement. I also love seeing my extended family (the Thrive staff). My advice & words of wisdom for incoming patients and their families: * Advocate for yourself as the patient; if you're a relative; please advocate for your loved one. * Treat the staff with love & respect (I promise it'll come back to you ten-fold, and will be a much better experience for you & the staff this way.) * You might be shy at first, but take full advantage of the activities that Kellie puts together! From craft-making to group games; it's a fun time for everyone! (Even the patient's visitors are encouraged to participate). * It doesn't matter if you're bedridden, the staff will make sure to get you out to socialize, shower, or PT. You just need to communicate your needs to them early enough in the day. * Family: PLEASE don't underestimate the power of your visits. Frequent visits will greatly help your loved one as they strive to recover. I had at least 2 family members taking turns visiting me throughout each day. *Keep in mind, you ARE allowed to sit in on your loved one's physical therapy sessions. - Just ask the therapist as a courtesy* * Stay positive & Keep on thriving! I definitely felt like I was working hard during each appointment. Bobby is attentive and friendly, and uses many different methods of pain relief and exercises. Sometimes 24-48 hour notice is not possible, but to be assessed a fee for trying to keep their staff healthy is really disappointing. Rigid cancelation polices, especially when working with pregnant patients who can have a myriad of issues arise, can result in loss of business. I'll be looking elsewhere to complete my PT. It should also be noted that while sure, most doctors offices have a 24 hour cancellation notice, most places value the health of their clients and their staff enough to waive cancellation fees when someone is calling with unexpected illness. Helpful to know that income is what really matters to this location! The cancellation policy reminders are incessant, but reminders are sent about appointments after you have already passed the 48-hour mark. For all prospective clients - please consider whether you may ever be susceptible to an illness prior to choosing this location for your PT, they are inflexible and have a much higher cancellation fee than any other practice I have visited across the spectrum of all medical facilities.

There is parking on the south side of the building and, fortunately for me, the elevator is closer to that parking because the facility is located on the 2nd floor. SURPRISE. The building is a maze, signs with arrows would help a whoooooooooooooole lot. Maybe it is identified better from the north side. Also, be aware there is a Riverbend Drive, Riverbend Place, and Riverbend Lane, that has to make mail delivery a nightmare. Kudos to Craig who really tried to right a wrong and make the situation better.

For over a year, I suffered from chronic back pain caused by two herniated discs. The constant,…read moretight pain was debilitating. I tried a steroid injection, hoping for relief, but it only helped the pain in my leg and did nothing for my back. I decided to try The Stretch Club, and I'm so glad I did. From my very first visit, I felt a release of the tension in my back that I hadn't felt in months. After 22 sessions, the change is incredible. The tight pain is completely gone, and I'm able to walk much longer distances than I could before. The sessions have truly made a difference in my quality of life. When we started at Rush Pediatric Therapy, our 4-year-old son was non-verbal and severely delayed,…read morestruggling to achieve milestone that most of an 18-month-old level per CDC milestones. After his initial assessment, the team agreed he needed 30+ hours of weekly ABA therapy to support his development. Unfortunately, Rush consistently failed to deliver. Despite the agreed-upon plan, our son never received more than 17 hours per week, even during summer sessions it was decreased even further down to just 13 hours. Early intervention is critical for autistic children to build essential skills in communication, cognition, and social development, as emphasized by every autism support group we've joined. Rush's inability to provide the recommended therapy hours has hindered our son's progress. Worse, Rush made recommendations that seemed contrary to his best interests, such as reducing his weekly hours after he missed a few days over a couple of weeks or allowing their therapist make medical diagnosis when they have no training to diagnose medical conditions. This lack of commitment and follow-through has been deeply disappointing. We expected a center dedicated to supporting autistic children to prioritize their needs, but Rush fall far short of that standard.
