Can I give them 10 stars? Please??? No one likes going to the dentist and I am no exception. I selected this office because if was close to my home and I wanted a lady doctor. Man was I lucky! I booked the appointment using their online portal and the office called me to confirm my time. I told the girl on the phone that I had a terrible experience at my last dentist office and I was nervous to expose my teeth again. I do not have bad teeth but the last dentist was not very nice to me. The girl on the phone was truly sad to hear that and said she would make a note for me. Usually stuff like that falls through the cracks but when I met Dr. Maria Gloria she actually asked about it and I felt very cared about. Dr. Maria Gloria gave my teeth the best cleaning I have ever had and let me know that my fillings all looked good and no cavities. I've been to this dental practice a couple of times now, for filling and just for general cleaning. Overall I'm very pleased. Easy to get an appointment, they text me to remind me of my upcoming appointment and are very understanding if you have to cancel or move appointments last minute. The practice does have free WIFI for the family members that have to wait in the waiting room. =) read more

This place is fine for simple, standard procedures. Very gentle when cleaning. Would not recommend for bigger, cosmetic procedures. Aside from my cleanings, I went in to get a front veneer glued on (which had fallen off). The dentist failed to completely glue and seal the veneer around all edges the first time (leading to a much more difficult situation). I noticed it, literally in the car, on the way back from the dental appointment. First, the dentist accused me of somehow dislodging the cement in that short amount of time, which shouldn't even happen if the cement had set and had been properly laid. This left the situation tricky, because now she had to somehow stuff cement into it to fill it in, all without damaging the veneer. Let's just say, not only is it still not filled in right, but she rolled the cement (which was a different color than the veneer) to the TOP side of the veneer, essentially ruining the veneer. I suspect she may have cracked it but it is completely covered with the cement so one can't say. When I mentioned the off color, she downplayed my comment saying "no one can see it. You see it here because of this light". Anyway, the accusation and the way the entire situation was handled left me in a very negative space. I did not go back. Then I got a bill for almost $100 like 6 months later. To recap, if you are stuck and need a quick cleaning, this place is ok, but I would not recommend anything more. read more

This office is wonderful, and my absolute favorite dentist till this day. The most kind and caring group up of workers you will encounter and they make visiting the dentist much less frightening/dreadful. Each time I go, I get quality service and Dr. Estipona is just great! I feel as if I have a relationship with each of the dental hygienists along with dr.Estipona which is a great feeling to have. for example, one time I went in right before a Skype interview with Sony and they prepped me, gave me words of encouragement, and overall made me way more confident going into the interview. When I write a review (which is few) it's because it triggers a deep emotional response. My story starts out where my old dentist (which was excellent) in Folsom dropped my obscure Idaho based insurance and Treehouse dental was one that did take it. My first visit to Treehouse occurred at the end of the year and it was x-rays and a cleaning. Everything went well and I had no complaints. The dentist didn't mention or alert me to special care needed. Going into the new year, I had added my wife's insurance coverage to my own to bolster my anemic Idaho-based one. Once the new coverage kicked in January, I received these frequent (multiple times in 1 day), urgent phone calls to come in for a gum cleaning procedure. This procedure entails numbing your mouth and scrubbing down to the base of the tooth pocket to clean. Typically this is for folks with deep pockets in the gum region. My previous dentist never found deep pockets to flag this before and I was skeptical. I also told them to make sure they received approval from my insurance that coverage would be paid prior to the procedure as I talked to friends and other offices on what this work entailed. Treehouse persisted saying I could just pay the ~$150 since this care was so urgent and my teeth could fall out. At this point I decided to visit my wife's dentist in Roseville and they came back telling my pockets were 3s (normal) and I would know if I needed this because my gums would bleed and I would experience sensitivity. This was my experience from my old dentist as well. Given that I had bookend opinions that were opposite of Treehouse, I feel like this dentist was after a cash grab based on the behaviors I experienced. I would warn other potential patients to question their judgement. Especially if you are being pressured for a gum cleaning procedure. Good luck! read more

Dr. Estipona and her assistants are AMAZING! I honestly didn't think going to the dentist could ever be a pleasant experience. Everyone is full of smiles and is unbelievably nice and welcoming. My first visit there, she played calming music for everyone's enjoyment. The staff is so personable. They even offer blankets and pillows to their patients to make your experience as comfortable as possible! All the assistants are so sweet, especially Vanessa! She does a wonderful in finding out all the information about your insurance, so you wont have a surprise bill later! Alisha is also wonderful herself. She can make anyone feel comfortable during their visit, with her bubbly personality. Literally Dr. Estipona, causes no pain at all. She's just wonderful and so genuine. I felt very unwelcome. And very uncomfortable as the doctor seemed like she was hiding in her office right behind the front desk trying not to make eye contact with me as I was talking to the front desk girls. I've been seeing Dr Estipona and her staff for a number of years and have always had great experiences with them. I've had a phobia about going to the dentist since childhood and many times my other experiences with other dentists have often been associated with pain. Whenever I've had to get any anesthesia/dental procedures completed Dr Estipona from day one has treated with kindness, patience, compassion, and with the ever contant professionalism. I've never felt her injections except when the needle is initially placed and she is constantly reassuring me if I'm doing ok. Her staff has always been very courteous and professional, and the office is always clean. I especially love their family oriented atmosphere. Over the years of going there I have interacted with Dr Estipona's daughters and husband and made me feel like I was a part of their family. It's really been a unique experience and in this day in age where I feel like we're constantly rushed and treated like numbers they go above and beyond to treat you like a patient should be treated. In addition, when Dr Estipona does any procedure it's always explained to me why a repair is to be completed and what she is going to do. Her staff also makes sure that any procedure would first be covered through my insurance which helps me out tremendously because I don't have the experience or knowledge what the insurance would be asking me and honestly I don't have the time in my busy schedule to do so. They truly think of you as a "whole patient." I would highly recommend them and have recommended them to multiple friends, co-workers, and family members to them. They truly are very humble, friendly, confident, competent, and professional people. Dr. Gloria Estipona is the best! She was referred to me by my friend and I was a little hesitant at first as I have a phobia with changing to a new dentist. My family and I have gone to dentists in the Bay Area and also to well known dentists in El Dorado Hills. I was committed to my dentist in El Dorado Hills. I noticed between our visits, I was visiting them way too often. I thought I had really bad teeth. Even though their facilities were really nice, you watched movies while getting the procedure done, and they gave away high end goody bags when you left, but you paid for it. I felt they did unnecessary treatments on me that I didn't really need. With Dr Estipona, I no longer have unnecessary visits that cost a lot of money. I took my daughter to my dentist and another pediatrics dentist in El Dorado Hills, they both wanted to do extensive services on her baby tooth costing $1,500-$2,000. I took her to Dr. Estipona and she treated it like a regular cavity that my insurance covered. Years later my daughter's teeth are fine as well as the rest of my family. With Gloria, I don't have a phobia going to the dentists and neither does my kids. Dr. Estipona has saved us so much money on unnecessary procedures. She is very friendly and great with my kids. Even though she wears a white coat, she is not your typical dentist. I don't feel intimated by her and she makes you feel like a close friend.
