The PB & J Burger sounds wild on paper, but it absolutely works. The peanut butter brings that rich, savory creaminess, and paired with the jalapeño jelly, it hits this perfect sweet-with-a-kick balance that keeps every bite interesting. It's one of those burgers that makes you stop after the first bite like, "okay... this is legit." The Sweet Heat Burger leans even more into that flavor combo. The sweetness comes through first, then the heat builds, and that jalapeño jelly really ties it all together, adding both sweetness and a subtle spice that doesn't overpower the burger itself. It's bold, messy in the best way, and just really well executed. Neither of these quite cracked my personal #1 burger of all time, but they're not far off. Both were seriously delicious, packed with flavor, and easily worth trying if you're in the area.

The things I like most about Tay's include: the fries, sriracha ketchup, a fun car for kids meals, and of course the burger with all of the available toppings to choose from. I ordered a single with fries. My wife and I decided that we'll probably share next time. We might even get the slider with fries. My son loved the car his burger was served in. The ladies working were so friendly and worked quickly through the long line to get orders placed. We didn't have any issues finding a table to sit. They have plenty of high chairs and booster seats for kids too.

So the food... that's why we really came here. So many people hyped Tay's Burger Shack up that I think it made me set my expectations really high. I tried the Single Cheeseburger with fries, I will say that I didn't find it very special. My least favorite part was the buns, they didn't seem like they were toasted at all. Just your typical old cheeseburger. The fries were not my favorite. It does make a cute date night and maybe late night snack.

I knew I hit the jackpot the moment I saw a line to the counter that just wouldn't end. That's always a good sign. Even being dairy-free, I ordered a cheeseburger (no cheese) with regular fries--and somehow it still hit the spot in ways I can't even describe. Every bite confirmed it: the flavor, the quality, and even the price made the wait completely worth it. And despite how busy it was, the service was exceptional--friendly, efficient, and well worth the crowd. I loved the variety of seating choices, especially the vintage lunch counter seating.

Lots of dessert choices, but we tried a cherry milkshake and it was very creamy and delicious for $5, but wish it was a little bigger for the price. Overall everything was tasty but the prices are definitely a bit high. The location is in a strip mall and feels a bit sketchy especially after dark and being connected to a liquor store.

Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and our food came out quickly. I ordered a turkey club while my dad got one as well, and unfortunately we both had the same issue. The turkey was on the dry side, and it was sliced much thicker than I personally prefer. I tend to like a thinner deli-style sliced turkey, so it just wasn't my favorite sandwich. My mom ordered one of the salads though, and honestly it looked better than my sandwich. It was loaded with fresh toppings, and she said the ranch was excellent. If I come back, I'd probably skip the sandwich altogether and give one of the salads a try. Overall, I can definitely appreciate what they're going for. The prices are fantastic, honestly unheard of in present day, and that's the main reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3. It's a true local spot, and I wouldn't mind giving it another chance to try something different from the menu.

Tonight, she had a serious hankering for the classic LC's smash burger and fries. And honestly, I get it. There's something special about the cook-to-order magic at LC's--crispy edges, melty cheese, and fresh-off-the-griddle flavor you just don't find at most burger joints. We've been fans for years, and LC's consistently delivers on taste. But I'll admit, there's one thing I've never quite understood: the lack of air conditioning in the seating and waiting area. Today was a scorcher--98 degrees and humid--and the front area felt even hotter, especially with the late afternoon sun beating through the windows. I couldn't tell if the kitchen had AC, but the front definitely didn't. Luckily, my order was ready in about 10 minutes, or I might've melted. We'll keep coming back for the burgers. They're that good. But I think most customers would really appreciate some A/C--especially on days like this.
