I decided to try the food at this fun, cute little truck near the River Market area called Disco Burgers and I really enjoyed it! They share their space with The Varsity Club, where you can grab drinks and then head over to this food truck for food with an open seating area. Disco Burgers offers burgers with a choice of single or multiple patties, fries, and patty melts. I got the double-patty burger and their fries. I got my burger five minutes after ordering so the service was pretty fast. They have a text number based ordering system and it will send you a message after the order is ready. The burger was well-cooked and loaded with toppings from onions to pickles and their "Disco sauce," which was similar to Cane's sauce on a potato bun. It wasn't gooey or moist, that's usually how I prefer having it, but it was yummy!! The French fries were the highlight of my meal. They were delicious, super crunchy, perfectly fried, and well-seasoned. A serious 10/10! The pricing was reasonable -$11 for the double patty and $2.50 for fries.Parking might be a challenge on weekends, and seating near the food truck is limited, so it fills up quickly. We got the disco sauce on the side instead of on the burger and got all toppings for the hot dog on the side. We also added grilled onions to our burger! The burger was cheesy and delicious! The fries were crispy and salty (which I love). I loved dipping the fries in the disco sauce but don't think I would get it on my burger. It is a little bit more on the expensive side, after tip and service fee it was around $50 but I did see on the menu that they have 20% off on Mondays! A con would be parking. I had heard amazing things about Disco burger and wanted to try it out for myself. I just happened to be in the area so I stopped by. They are located nearby the City Market, outside of The Varsity Club. You can order at the truck or from a number of QR codes inside. I ordered from the code inside while grabbing a beverage. The online ordering system was easy and my food came out a lot quicker than I expected and it was accurate. I like that they bagged it up for an easy to go option. Or you can eat there at-outside or inside. The menu is pretty limited and they do accept minor changes, such as removing onions from a burger. I went with a double disco burger and fries. The burger was really good. It was juicy and good sized. I wasn't sure about the disco sauce initially but it grew on me. There was only the option to remove the sauce from the burger entirely and I really wanted it on the side. I'm sure you could order like that directly from the truck. But the sauce is good and there's really no need to do that. They serve crinkle cut fries in little boats with ketchup. Crinkle cuts are always good. I really have no complaints about the food. I normally do not go for crinkle cut fries but they were surprisingly delicious. They were nice and crispy and went well with the sauce. I do apologize for the picture but the burger was just so good I had to dig right in! After my burger and fries, I followed it up with their pistachio cherry chocolate ice cream. My double - $11.25 - was smashed flat as it should be with some nice crispy edges, lots of gooey runny cheese and a 'disco sauce" that only complimented the sandwich and the two vegetables - onions and pickles. Fries were crinkle cut - $3.00 - for a small serving. Annoyances...ordering. Scan a QC code, place your order on-line, pay with cc and then wait for a text to pick it up. That's all fine and dandy in the new economy but don't automatically request a 20% tip and charge me a service fee for using your ordering system. No one is providing any customer service skills here. I'm doing the ordering at my table, having to retrieve it, getting my own water at a large cooler...and you want 20% and a service fee charge...get out of here! Ketchup - I know that you didn't over indulge me with an abundance of fries, but two little packets...put the ketchup packets out with the water for self service and those of us the like to dip. 5 star burger, 3 stars for value and peripheral annoyances. read more

A similar taste profile to Freddy's with a paper thin patty, doughy bun, and ketchup focused special sauce. Overall, this burger tasted like the norm and sometimes that's okay.
