Finally got a chance to visit the famed Treasure Island Beach. It was everything we had hoped for. We visited at the start of Spring Break so we were concerned about parking. It was very busy but we were able to find city parking along PCH. A short walk later, we found ourselves strolling down to Treasure Island Beach. I really appreciated it being handicap accessible right to the sand! The view was beautiful. Lots of space to lay out. Very clean. Great place to swim and take in the awesome tide pools. We were surprised to find to marine scientists available to describe the various species that live in the tide pools onsite on a Sunday. They were great. The beach was perfect. Will need to return with more time. read more

It's been 50 years since I've been on this beach. I used to live next door at Blue Lagoon. The beach is pretty much the way I remembered minus the wooden pier. The trailer park is gone too. I like Laguna, there's so many hidden beaches. read more

Get here early because parking in the afternoon is basically non existent on weekends. Beach is beautiful and the restroom are clean.

Small little coves with a nice smooth, short path down to the water, from a cute little park. There's rocks to check out and climb on and tide pools. We caught the most incredible sunset here on christmas eve and can imagine the swimming is great in the summertime. We caught street parking for a small fee but can assume it's much busier in the summertime to find parking. read more

What a hidden gem in Laguna! We recently discovered this beautiful park which connects to the Laguna Montage hotel. Parking is super easy on a weekday and is reasonably priced. The park is stunning. You get some of the best views of Laguna Beach. There are stairways leading you down to the beaches. Also very pet friendly! Our little pug had a blast here. This has got to be the most beautiful Beach in Orange County that I have ever seen! I've lived here (Central OC) all my life and and did not know about it! My husband was having a procedure at Saddleback Hospital and I had time to kill, so I took a short drive here. The pictures I took of it are just stunning and I use them for wallpaper on my phone. I love them. And I loved this beach. I was there in September 2024. It was not crowded on a Monday. BUT I did come close to drowning there! So I want to warn people to be careful because I was just walking on the shore and the tide came in and knocked me right over! A lady I encountered told me the same thing happened to her! But it is still beautiful!! I got lucky and found pay parking close by. It's a little tricky to find also but so worth it!! And there is a bit of a hill walk to get to it Stairs and a ramp. It's gorgeous. If you get a chance to go, it looks like a beach in Hawaii!! read more

Treasure Island Beach. Me and my girlfriend just got back home from hanging out here for 5 hours today. Its one of the best in South Orange County. Our first time here, because we usually hangout at our closer Beach locations near home. Surf and waves are cooler here. Little more peace and quiet. Does not attract many tourists. I saw more locals today than I did tourist. Ocean and mountains are beautiful. Parking is underground, that's a bit bizarre lol. All in all, I like it. read more

I've lived somewhat local but inland for 23 years and this is the first time I came to this beach. The parking was easy in the parking garage on Wesley, but there's also parking in the center across the street. The walk down behind the Montage to the beach is incredibly beautiful while the beach itself feels almost kinda private. There's a couple areas with rocks that go into the ocean that would be fun for exploring a little with kids. It's probably one of the prettiest beaches in this area. read more

One of things that I love about knowing someone that lives in Southern California is that they know where some of the better beach spots are at. Treasure Island Beach was nice and clean and not too busy when we came. It is south of the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach. We ended parking in the neighborhoods and had to make the long walk down. But it was worth it to check out his beautiful beach. Treasure Island Beach is on the north end of the same large cove that begins at Aliso Beach Park. The large rock outcroppings that block the waves help keep the water nice and clear. There is a natural rock arch that is fun to check out. Overall we had a fun day throwing around a football and chilling out at this little hidden gem. read more

Found this beach when searching the web for a dog friendly beach to visit while in town. This beach is SO clean with such a beautiful stretch of coast! If you're looking for a nice place to take the family & dogs, this is a great option. Please note, dogs are only allowed during the winter months. The beach has a small pay-to-park garage located near the walk way but, it may be tough to find parking if you don't show up early. Otherwise, there is a lot of metered street parking. Accessibility allows for wheelchairs, strollers, & wagons to enter into the beach down a few steep ramps, emphasis on the steep as it may be tough to push things up the ramp. Outdoor showers are also available. I will definitely be visiting the beach when back in town :) read more

Another gorgeous beach that is a must see in the area. I was staying in Main beach and took the free trolley to Victoria beach then walked down the beach .. occasionally having scamper over rocks or walls to see more. This was one i came across and i walked up some stairs and viewed it from above also. Very picturesque, great for photography and sunsets. people walking there dogs and playing on the beach, exercising and yoga. there were flowers from above that made the pics every more gorgeous ... i sometimes had to hunker down or angle the camera to get the effects I wanted. read more

This little beach is heaven on earth. I've seen a lot of beaches and this one tops the list . It is absolutely gorgeous. The water is a clear color blue. The sand is clean and just as gorgeous. I highly recommend seeing this beach . Put it on your bucket list . Parking is tight . That's common for beaches . I saw a very small paid parking lot , in an underground garage . We parked there . Cute beach but not really worth the effort, coming from San Diego. The view was breathtaking, but the beach is very small and a good portion was taken up by seating set up for the resort above the beach. Lifeguards were very attentive and alert. Water was a bit rough the day we went. Because of the small size of the beach it got crowded orettt fast. read more

Ideal beach for taking engagement/family/maternity photos. Picturesque view. I have only been there after 6PM, not overly crowded around that time. However, parking is a little tricky. The parking structure near the beach is almost always full. There is a bigger parking lot across from the beach on Wesley Dr if you don't mind the walk. It's $3/h & free after 7PM. read more

Yes this is such a beautiful beach everyone could see on postcards. I took my dogs here since winder time allow to have dogs on the beach with leash. There was a parking under the Treasure Island Park but I just park along the street from PCH and also I saw meters on PCH too. The walking path is well maintenance and so beautiful. There were dog waste bags and also public bathroom on Montage next to public art life force. It was a bit gloomy at the beginning but actually I liked it without too much sunlight. My dogs enjoyed beaches and also paw friends and nice people. read more

This beach is a wonderful place tucked away in Laguna. Most tourists go to Main Beach, but this beach is mostly locals only. Not as crowded and have its hidden gems! The tide pools and marine life are something to watch out for. It is very fascinating to see ocean life up close (remember not to disturb them). There is also a lot of amazing rock formations here. There is a small cave and a big one. It is not recommended to go to the big cave during high tide. Be careful when climbing the rocks because it can be slippery. Besides that, you can come here and enjoy the peace and quiet. read more

I was recommended to bring my family to this beautiful beach and we surely were not let down. I heard parking is scarce during peak times and since we arrived around 1030-11am, I did not want to take any chances passing up any nearby parking. We parked by the treasure island park street where there were meters. Very fair pricing 3 hours max at $4.50 total price. I was originally going to park at montage valet but it now costs $60 for overnight parking and $25 if you dine in their restaurant and get it validated. When other yelpers said it was quite a walk, I thought a few steps here and there. No biggie. Holy smokes there was a lot of stairs. Don't get me wrong, they also have a handicap ramp but we didn't have a rolling cart to put all our kids beach stuff in, so we had to carry it all the way down. The road back up was also very challenging but at least we had a 2.5 hour break to enjoy the beach. I love how there are benches (probably placed by the montage hotel) to over look the ocean and observe the sunset. The trails and walk ways were nicely maintained. The beach was free of trash, no sand fleas and everyone observed social distancing guidelines. The water was so clean and clear. This place must be a scuba divers paradise. It was our first time checking out tide pools and the coastal curves. My girls had a lot of fun and we were so glad to have stopped by. read more

What a beautiful and clean beach! I didn't know the water can look so clear as if it was Hawaii! Maybe after the pandemic shutdown, less people went to the beach and allowed the beach to clear up? I hope it stays like this now that everyone is flocking to the beach. I also love the convenience of the small parking lot right at the entrance of the beach and the view as you are walking down to the beach is so beautiful. There is a wash area right before walking into the sand and before heading up the stairs back to the parking lot. Such a nice set up. Very observant life guards. I took a tumble in the harsh waves. Before I was able to regain my footing, the lifeguard was already at my aid. The beach is clean & public parking is small but convenient $3/hr until 7pm. Public's restrooms/ shower located to the side of the parking garage. Although there are stairs there is also a ramp for easy beach access. More than a few photographers populate the beach around sunset. Other than, I highly recommend this beach. read more

If I can afford to live here, I would stroll around this park every day. Stuck in a very high priced real estate area with some posh retail establishment down the main road, it will be somewhat hard to find parking in the weekend and at evening time. I love beautiful ocean at this part of California and love how immaculate the park is kept clean all week long. Somewhat jealous because I know most touristy beaches are not clean at all. The sand here is so pristine. I used to go to Pismo Beach and thought they got the best beach, but I had to admit this beach is right up there. Now here comes weird part in all this. Not just the parking, but you would to navigate certain "accessible entrance" to the beach itself. The sidewalk that is above the beach is pretty accessible from where ever you were parking at. Getting to the beach as in the sand and where the ocean water are at will take some power strolling to get into. The people who lived in the gate community near the beach have a private entrance to go down from the backyard. Some lived towards the stair case area where 10-15 minutes walk will be perfect for them (not too close for loiters to climb over their place and not far for them). Accessibility is always the key getting here. Once you get to the beach area, it will take your mind off whatever you are thinking. Serenity is the best when there are no worries in the world and this place provides that tranquility when you needed. Like I said, I wish I can afford to live here because I definitely would come here every day. read more

What a beautiful beach! It's the perfect place to go for a nice stroll and have a romantic little picnic. There are several benches scattered along the cliffside to relax and take in the views. The landscaping is very well maintained and the area is very clean. There is a small paid parking lot. We got lucky and were able to snag an open spot. Otherwise, I'm not sure how parking is here. Covid 48 review. This was a surprisingly great breach. Not a lot of parking available but I personally didn't mind parking and walking a bit to experience this cool beach. The Monarch resort is nearby, so that's probably why the trails and stairs leading to the beach are so well maintained. I liked that there was plenty of sandy beach, yet with nearby rock formations. It reminded me of some beaches on Hawaii. I also liked that there was a shower close to the ramp so that I could rinse my feet off. An hours drive from San Diego, this beach was new to me and worthwhile. read more

WOW! Beautiful beach! My wife and I came here with the kids and we loved it! Parking - we parked off of PCH at a meter which was $4.25 for 3 hours (there might have been time remaining from the last person there). There is also a small parking garage that was $1.50 an hour for up to 3 hours. Parking can get rough at prime time hours. We went earlier in the day and left around 1:30p and there was a pretty big line of cars. The beach itself is stunning! The water is clear, there's rocks all around, it honestly reminded me of Hawaii. The beach is by the Montage so areas around it are very well maintained. There are tables and chairs around the area as well as benches. There are grassy areas for a nice picnic. We saw yoga going on when we went yesterday (Saturday morning). We will definitely be visiting again. read more
