Small little coves with a nice smooth, short path down to the water, from a cute little park. There's rocks to check out and climb on and tide pools. We caught the most incredible sunset here on christmas eve and can imagine the swimming is great in the summertime. We caught street parking for a small fee but can assume it's much busier in the summertime to find parking.

Parking is limited, but the beach is worth seeing. Great tide pool area and beautiful photo opportunities

What a hidden gem in Laguna! We recently discovered this beautiful park which connects to the Laguna Montage hotel. Parking is super easy on a weekday and is reasonably priced. The park is stunning. You get some of the best views of Laguna Beach. There are stairways leading you down to the beaches. Also very pet friendly! Our little pug had a blast here. We can't recommend this spot enough!

Beautiful beach. Love walking along the shoreline and listening to the sound of the waves. I love exploring the tide pools and see what creatures are in there.

This has got to be the most beautiful Beach in Orange County that I have ever seen! I've lived here (Central OC) all my life and and did not know about it! My husband was having a procedure at Saddleback Hospital and I had time to kill, so I took a short drive here. The pictures I took of it are just stunning and I use them for wallpaper on my phone. I love them. And I loved this beach. I was there in September 2024. It was not crowded on a Monday. BUT I did come close to drowning there! So I want to warn people to be careful because I was just walking on the shore and the tide came in and knocked me right over! A lady I encountered told me the same thing happened to her! But it is still beautiful!! I got lucky and found pay parking close by. It's a little tricky to find also but so worth it!! And there is a bit of a hill walk to get to it Stairs and a ramp. It's gorgeous. If you get a chance to go, it looks like a beach in Hawaii!!

Stunning beach. All around it is very beautiful. Super clean, beautiful views. My favorite beach in all of laguna

By far the most beautiful beach I've ever been on. The landscaping was amazing. I will tell you there isn't a lot of beach so pick your spot wisely. I love that there's restrooms and there's a place for you to get a cold beverage if you like, it was a really great time and I'm looking forward to going back.

I've lived somewhat local but inland for 23 years and this is the first time I came to this beach. The parking was easy in the parking garage on Wesley, but there's also parking in the center across the street. The walk down behind the Montage to the beach is incredibly beautiful while the beach itself feels almost kinda private. There's a couple areas with rocks that go into the ocean that would be fun for exploring a little with kids. It's probably one of the prettiest beaches in this area.

One of things that I love about knowing someone that lives in Southern California is that they know where some of the better beach spots are at. Treasure Island Beach was nice and clean and not too busy when we came. It is south of the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach. We ended parking in the neighborhoods and had to make the long walk down. But it was worth it to check out his beautiful beach. Treasure Island Beach is on the north end of the same large cove that begins at Aliso Beach Park. The large rock outcroppings that block the waves help keep the water nice and clear. There is a natural rock arch that is fun to check out. Overall we had a fun day throwing around a football and chilling out at this little hidden gem.

Not sure. Mussels?

Beautiful beach, lots of tide pools. No bathrooms, parking is limited. The character limit is stupid.

Beautiful Beautiful beautiful! I've gone to this beach 3 times the past 2 weeks. Would highly ask everyone to come here for a relaxing day. Water felt refreshing. It is winter so it wasn't crowded. I can imagine summer being very busy here. Recommend coming in the morning and staying all day. There is a small parking garage and parking across the street.

Found this beach when searching the web for a dog friendly beach to visit while in town. This beach is SO clean with such a beautiful stretch of coast! If you're looking for a nice place to take the family & dogs, this is a great option. Please note, dogs are only allowed during the winter months. The beach has a small pay-to-park garage located near the walk way but, it may be tough to find parking if you don't show up early. Otherwise, there is a lot of metered street parking. Accessibility allows for wheelchairs, strollers, & wagons to enter into the beach down a few steep ramps, emphasis on the steep as it may be tough to push things up the ramp. Outdoor showers are also available. I will definitely be visiting the beach when back in town :)

Another gorgeous beach that is a must see in the area. I was staying in Main beach and took the free trolley to Victoria beach then walked down the beach .. occasionally having scamper over rocks or walls to see more. This was one i came across and i walked up some stairs and viewed it from above also. Very picturesque, great for photography and sunsets. people walking there dogs and playing on the beach, exercising and yoga. there were flowers from above that made the pics every more gorgeous ... i sometimes had to hunker down or angle the camera to get the effects I wanted.

Ask the Community - Treasure Island Beach

Can you grill on or near the beach?

Unfortunately not.

Do they have any food or restaurants on this beach?

Not that I know of.

Are you allowed in the water? Are sharks seen this way?

Yes, you're allowed in the water. About sharks, I haven't seen any there.

My parents are older and cant walk very well. Is this a place they could drive to and have a picnic without walking much?

No it isn't. Usually, if you can find parking, it's a bit of a walk and then you have a few flights of stairs to get down to the beach.

Are dogs allowed on beach on leash?

Can we use portable camp stove to grill and have lunch in one of those tables at the picnic area?

Will I be able to use a beach tent or is that not allowed?

No problem

Are their restrooms?

Yes! Attached to the parking garage!

Are the fire pits open?

I'm not sure but if I had to guess I would say yes because everything else is open.

Is there fire pits?

Not sure haven't seen any.

Is this a rocky beach?

There are rocks in some parts of this beach but there are a lot of open spaces to swim or lay out where there are no rocks. The sand itself is not too rocky either. I hope this helps.

What time is it open?

Laguna beaches are open from 1am to 5am.

How is the bathroom? shower?

Bathrooms are clean. Shower right before the beach is not working last time I tried (a few weeks ago).

Is this a dog friendly beach?

It is dog friendly during the winter months, after September 15th (stated on the signs to your right as you enter the beach) through the early spring!

They are pretty steep and concrete. I wouldn't recommend them for little kids. Make sure you go at low tide. They close the cave area when the tide comes in. The cave is on the far left side of the beach. You have to go over rocks to get there. It can be slippery. There were lifeguards on duty. It's so fun to explore inside the cave. We parked on PCH. There is no parking lot. I definitely recommend going in the morning. It's hard to find parking if you try to go in the afternoon/evening on a weekend/holiday. There is a crosswalk and stoplight at 9th Ave. to cross PCH and then the entrance is right there. There is a bathroom, but it is the typical beach bathroom--not very clean. There's a volleyball net on the left side of the beach. There are no restaurants/cafes. Bring whatever you want with you.

We went on a Monday and it was pretty busy lots of college-aged people, maybe even some high schoolers, but the beach itself still felt pretty secluded, and there were hardly any kids around maybe like a handful of them. It was overcast when we went, which actually made it perfect, not too hot and super comfortable. Parking is street parking only, just make sure to read the signs carefully. Once you head down, you'll find restrooms and showers right at the bottom of the stairs, which is super convenient. The restroom is clean earlier in the day (before noon), but like most beach spots, it gets a bit wet as the day goes on. There's plenty of space to set up and relax. One thing to watch out for--seagulls! They will go after your food, so definitely cover it with towels if you're hopping in the water. The stairs themselves are pretty narrow, and people usually stick to one side going down and the other going up, so just be mindful and take your time, they tend to also get wet as the day goes on so it's a little slippery.

[Where is the beach]: Use the pin on Yelp's map as the guidance as the pin on the Google Map misled our party to a completely different beach. This hidden beach has two entrance - one via Dumond Dr (116 Dumond Dr) and one near the intersection of Victoria Dr & Sunset Terrace (2703 Victoria Dr). Please note that the entrance via Dumond Dr is under construction so it's easier to enter by taking the stairways near 2703 Victoria Dr. [Parking]: There's a street sign telling visitors to park on PCH and not residential streets. Unfortunately all parking on PCH is street parking only and our party got a bit lucky finding a spot near The Drake (2894 S Coast Hwy) - fall season so less crowd. [Dogs]: Dogs are allowed BEFORE 9:00 AM and AFTER 6:00 PM from June 15 - September 10. Dogs are allowed during regular beach hours from September 11 - June 14. Dogs must be on a leash at all times. [What to see]: Unlike other beaches in Orange County, there's actually a structure called the Pirate Tower and apparently it was built in 1926 for the family of William E. Brown (a state senator representing California's 37th district). [Conclusion]: I personally still prefer Table Rock Beach a bit better than Victoria Beach due to slightly easier parking, easier to navigate, and prettier beach, but the pirate tower is certainly unique.
