    My favorite beach

Literally the prettiest views driving there and being there ! Please me mindful this is a community please clean up after urself and be kind to the neighbors & please do not touch the marine life in the tide pools ! Other than that I recommend this beach to come and relax !

Beautiful beach on a beautiful Stripes of the ocean get out and walk and pick up some rocks and shells and see some sea life. Take off your shoes and experience the ocean walking barefoot for a little while or the whole day.

Local beach which is also a protected tidal pool area. Lifeguard available: the park has a no dogs on the beach till after 6 pm policy, so I had to wait maybe half an hour to get to the beach since I had my dogs. Picturesque view had many people posing and posting selfies, I would have walked around the rocky shore to get to the tidal pools but I was barefooted, probably not advisable. I spotted a very large seal bobbing quite close to shore so just remember to stay mau feet away is they are on shore! Lots of space for sunning and relaxing , protected cove looked like calmer waters. No one was surfing while I was here but I saw people with their boards. Lots of young kids, and that's the beach life!

It was so beautiful to see such clear water and such a clean beach. There where lot of friendly people and amenities! With a place to rinse your body and feet, and even bathrooms!!! This beach was phenomenal, I'll be coming often, the surf was amazing!

The pictures really say it all - very quaint little beach just north of the main laguna sandbar. It has a very private feeling since it juts out of a residential beachy neighborhood. Tide pools here can be a nice family fun option for water safe kids. Come here for a relaxing read or post engagement pictures, not necessarily a big party scene here. Cons - park rangers are very uptight here and are anti 420.

looks and smells like raw sewage

I went a few times and there is a pool of what smells and looks like raw sewage that no one is taking care of. This beach is extremely overhyped by everyone I talked to. Also, there were a lot of stingrays (!!!) and didn't feel safe in the water. The sand was really coarse and unpleasant. There are too many people and no place to breathe...hello social distance much??? NOT COVID friendly at all. Also, the city doesn't take care of this beach. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Most beautiful, clear blue waters. Nice tidepools. Street parking on weekdays pretty easy. There are bathrooms.

Great beach for little kids. Has a playground, bathrooms and little tidepools. There were even people there to teach about the ecosystem!

Would love to go snorkeling here, anyone know how far you have to swim before seeing any fish or are they pretty close to shore? I can swim but being too far out is a bit daunting

Diver's is probably my favorite spot in all of Laguna to go chill. It's... quiet, because it's…read morerelatively small compared to the Main Beach strand, but it's so special. It's usually clean and free of seaweed, and it just smells so good... no icky fish or seaweed decay odors; just clean ocean beach air. This beach only gets GOOD tanning sun during PEAK Summer hours, otherwise, it's kind of... a gamble on the tides and the time of day as to whether you can use the beach for tanning or not. It's a nice beach to NOT get tons of sun on, especially after about 5PM to sunset. It varies, of course, but that's TYPICALLY what you'll find happening. I do NOT believe this area has a lifeguard watching it (?) but correct me if wrong. I don't and haven't seen a lifeguard stand here. The next beach OVER, however does have a lifeguard watching post. This is the spot to go relax... and just sit with yourself and your thoughts. Let the tide rise a little, and then let it go out... and let your problems go with it. It's the best therapy for free you can get, I think... but, anyway... enjoy! :]

When the waves come in, it creates little waterfalls as it cascades over the rocks and back into the ocean. There are leopard sharks and stingrays here. The little sharks are bottom feeders and never bother people. The stingrays, however, can sting! All the more reason to get past the shorebreak ... there are fully stocked bathrooms right up the hill which is such a plus for beach days! There are also lifeguards on both sides of the beach. The only downside is parking. It is limited but if you get lucky, make the trek down here!

Whether you're visiting from out of country, out of state, or were born and raised in Los Angeles/Orange County (like me), I promise you will not regret booking anything with Nick!! Experience 10/10 - My husband and I booked a February nighttime lobster diving excursion. The whole experience from start to finish was a core memory. Nick is super friendly and easy to talk to. He is an expert in his field and has fascinating stories so make sure you ask any question that pops into your head! The kelp forest ecosystem is really unique and how many chances do you get to explore it at all let alone at night? Safety 10/10 - My husband and I are not the most adventurous or active people and were a little nervous (very nervous in my case) about ocean swimming at night. Nick was VERY knowledgeable and reassuring, putting all our fears at ease. He assessed our prior experience and comfort levels and completely tailored the experience to us. While in the water he is professional and attentive, guiding you and directing your attention to the sea life (he brought many small lobsters and items of interest up from the bottom for us to hold, so cool!). He checks in on your comfort regularly and will escort you back to the beach with no fuss the moment you're ready (even if you haven't caught anything and then returns himself to finish diving for your dinner). Comfort 10/10 - Nick provides every piece of equipment you could possibly need. He makes sure you are well fitted in your dive gear. If you're worried about water temps, don't. The ocean will feel like a warm bath once you're geared up. After you're done diving, Nick buries you in warm sweaters and blankets and treats you to hot chocolate from a thermos so that you don't even notice the chill. Food 1000/10 - OH MY GOD. I am spoiled for uni and lobster for the rest of my life. Absolutely incredible to watch Nick prep and cook the fresh catch right on the beach while you sip hot cocoa. Mind blowing to actually eat the decadent uni and the sinfully buttery and sweet lobster. We were completely stuffed by the end and still had lobster meat left over!! 3 months later and I still daydream and drool over it... 2 small notes to make sure you get the most out of your time with Nick: 1. Go with the flow. Life happens, things don't run exactly on time, you're booking an experience in nature, and nature doesn't always cooperate. Just enjoy the process and you won't regret anything. 2. If you're prone to motion sickness, bring dramamine!!!! Overall 10000000/10 BOOK. THIS. EXPERIENCE.

Cannot say enough about how cool it was to view the wildlife through the underwater viewing pods. It was an unbelievable experience to come nose to nose with wild bottlenose dolphins. We visited on a busy day on Memorial Day weekend, and the crew still took time to make sure that everyone on the boat was having a good time and getting their questions answered. I also brought along my rambunctious 2 1/2 year old son, and felt totally safe on the boat, which felt very secure for kids. On our cruise we saw dolphins, a fin whale, a sun fish, sealions, and common dolphins. A great day. Special thanks to Matt and Amanda for all their fun facts and knowledge sharing! We will definitely be back later in the year to look out for blue whales and white sided dolphins.
