A friend of ours who lives in the community took us there for the day to celebrate my daughter's birthday. What an amazing beach. One of the most beautiful I've seen in California. Easy access but be prepared to walk some steps. Clean bathrooms and showers. Lots of trash bins so the beach is kept very clean. The waves break very gently here so it's easy to swim. If there's any way you can get access to this beach, then I'd highly recommend you spend a day here.

One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen in not only california but in the US! So happy a friend of mine...has access!! It was a beautiful day. Everyone was very nice in the community. The arches were gorgeous ! There are fire pits out there as well for your leisure. Can't wait to return again.

Wow ..: what is the nice beach . I have always wanted to go here but unfortunately I don't live here or have any rich friends I finally was swimming around the rock to get there I did it at :) least before I die!

Private, clean, and just a beautiful beach. You either must be a resident to access this beach, or be a guest of a resident. The stairs were not that bad compared to other beaches we've been to in Laguna. We saw security guards as we were going down the stairs and they were friendly. There are bbq grills and a fire pit which we used for roasting marshmallows for smores. Long tables are perfect for group gatherings. There is also a shower at the bottom of the stairs to wash your feet off. The arches and the the sunset colors were just gorgeous. The kids had fun exploring the tide pools, playing on the sand, and enjoying the water. Because it's private, it is not crowded at all. It was a treat to spend some time on this beach. I enjoyed it even more than the beach at Emerald Bay.

heaven on earth. I love this place more than anything else in the world! there is literally nothing better than a perfect summer day here with crystal clear water and the toasty sand! I miss it so much!!

    Beach time!

Private & resident beach only. This beach is quiet, not packed & beautiful. To get to the beach you go down stairs, lots of stairs but once you reach the end your happy. What I like most it's private. The ppl at the beach are just simple easy going ppl. Beach is clean, why bc ppl keep it clean. Ppl here live, breathe, beach. Security guard on the beach making rounds. I like that. It's simply beautiful it's cove like & your surrounded by high rock mtn's & rocked walls kind of caved-in which is cool. Surfers most def have ground here. Laguna surfer boys! Yes & amen. Fire pit's here & bbq spread out. Shower @ the bottom of stairs. Con: bathroom is on club-house, which is a walk. :( they gotta fix this. But if your a resident you might as well go home & walk back it's not that bad. Stairs are killer but good work-out for sure! My twin sister got married on this beach in a private ceremony. Man, it was breath taking.

For residents and guests of residents only... This private beach is beautiful! Love that there are a couple of security guards on the beach, they were really friendly.

We were so fortunate to have a connection with a local resident to see this exclusive area in Laguna Beach. It's nice to know there are still some secrets kept hidden from the public. The beach is so well kept and the lighting is just gorgeous. It's a definite must see for the California coast if you can manage it.

80 degrees in February. Loving 3 Arch. Thanks Uncle T.

This is hands down one of the nicest, if not the nicest, beach in California. This beach is amazing and perfect for families with children. The only reason it receives a few bad reviews is because it's private and difficult to get into. If you can find a way to get in, this is the beach to go to.

First off, don't…read morelet the name intimidate you, the stairs are not literally 1000 steps one way or even round trip... unless you decide to go up and down a few times, then yeah, you'll definitely hit that number!! We went on a Monday and it was pretty busy lots of college-aged people, maybe even some high schoolers, but the beach itself still felt pretty secluded, and there were hardly any kids around maybe like a handful of them. It was overcast when we went, which actually made it perfect, not too hot and super comfortable. Parking is street parking only, just make sure to read the signs carefully. Once you head down, you'll find restrooms and showers right at the bottom of the stairs, which is super convenient. The restroom is clean earlier in the day (before noon), but like most beach spots, it gets a bit wet as the day goes on. There's plenty of space to set up and relax. One thing to watch out for--seagulls! They will go after your food, so definitely cover it with towels if you're hopping in the water. The stairs themselves are pretty narrow, and people usually stick to one side going down and the other going up, so just be mindful and take your time, they tend to also get wet as the day goes on so it's a little slippery.

Still, the stairs are steep, so caution is needed both going down and coming back up. After spending the day at the beach, that climb somehow feels like 2,000+ steps and hits way harder than expected, so it's best to pace yourself. The beach itself is nice, calming, and clean, which makes the effort worth it. It's a great spot to relax once you're finally down there. Pro tip: pack light. If you bring every single beach "necessity," you will regret it on the way back up. I'm giving this place 4 stars, and the main reason it's not 5 is the parking situation. Parking is honestly horrifying. Parking lot is limited, and street parking is competitive, and mildly stressful before you even touch the steps. Amazing beach, great vibes, killer workout... just come prepared and patient.

I had never visited Laguna beach but had the opportunity because my niece was visiting (surprise engagement). My husband and I decided to bring our kids here to look around and it was our 1 year old son's first time on the beach, ever! It's such a gorgeous beach! Our son had so much fun trying to run into the waves. Our daughters had a blast collecting shells. Our beach blanket was next to a lady who was celebrating her teenage daughter me birthday with some friends. They were so kind to offer us some of their red revolver cake. [Where is the beach]: Use the pin on Yelp's map as the guidance as the pin on the Google Map misled our party to a completely different beach. This hidden beach has two entrance - one via Dumond Dr (116 Dumond Dr) and one near the intersection of Victoria Dr & Sunset Terrace (2703 Victoria Dr). Please note that the entrance via Dumond Dr is under construction so it's easier to enter by taking the stairways near 2703 Victoria Dr. [Parking]: There's a street sign telling visitors to park on PCH and not residential streets. Unfortunately all parking on PCH is street parking only and our party got a bit lucky finding a spot near The Drake (2894 S Coast Hwy) - fall season so less crowd. [Dogs]: Dogs are allowed BEFORE 9:00 AM and AFTER 6:00 PM from June 15 - September 10. Dogs are allowed during regular beach hours from September 11 - June 14. Dogs must be on a leash at all times. [What to see]: Unlike other beaches in Orange County, there's actually a structure called the Pirate Tower and apparently it was built in 1926 for the family of William E. Brown (a state senator representing California's 37th district). [Conclusion]: I personally still prefer Table Rock Beach a bit better than Victoria Beach due to slightly easier parking, easier to navigate, and prettier beach, but the pirate tower is certainly unique.
