Great park, plenty of space and equipment for the kids. Glad we stopped there while in town.

So, we decided to do a Father's Day celebration here, yesterday, for my boyfriend and his grown kids. This park is huge! It has a little something for everyone. Playground, sports, ballparks, picnic tables, bbq grills, etc. The park was beautifully designed and kept up well. My only gripe is their bathrooms. Definitely, not the cleanest bathrooms. They lock their bathrooms between 5pm-6pm every evening. We even saw rabbits and a skunk, so small wildlife roam here. We all had a great time. I would most definitely return here for some recreation and people watching. Highly recommended for all ages. read more

Hello! This park has several things going for it! The layout, theme, and environment of the playground and park are great especially for kids. There are several fun things to do at the parks that most other parks do not have like the little things where you can dig sand, also there are lots of little things that the kids can play on. There are also various places where you can explore as well which is a big plus! There are also lots of places to have sports as well, like football, soccer, softball, baseball and other sports. There are also picnic tables as well near the park which is very nice to have. Great park! read more

We have so many great memories here, Church potlucks, meeting people at the skate park afterwards, we have the library across the street, Starbucks across the street, this is where they do that city of Laguna Hills fireworks and other festivities. read more

Lovely park but couldn't find parking super close by. It's only a short walk though from the lot I found. It's off Community Center in the opposite side of the LH community center. This is a great park, a little uphill walk from the parking lot but great for all ages. The park was clean and well kept. I marked it down a star because the water feature didn't work, and unfortunately that's all my daughter wanted to play with. It has a couple toddler swings, and a couple big kid swings. It has an amazing tire swing- which can be fun for most ages! I loves the different play structures and the different slide heights and lengths. I loved that there is a 'littler' kids play structure which has the perfect height slides for those beginners. Another great feature is the diggers! How fun are these?! They used to be in every park when I was a child and now they are far and few behind. So it's a great thing to see, and a good chunk of entertainment. This park is fun for all ages, with plenty of benches and shady spots for a picnic! So grab lunch, pack it up, bring a nice blanket and head over bc this park will keep your kids busy for awhile! read more

Love the layout and theme of this park, however when we went there were a lot of trash (juice pouches, water bottles, paper plates etc) in the playground area and sand pit. The sand was peppered with pieces of the blue foam flooring and lots of wood and grass cuts mixed into the sand. The railings are rusty and paint chipping. This place badly needs some TLC. Bathrooms were clean! Plenty of parking. Would go back again once it's cleaned up! read more

Park is huge! Nice for all ages. They have a nice big field to play field sports, a play structure, swings, etc. They have multiple play areas. There is a bridge that connects the bigger play structure to one smaller one. There are so many areas, sometimes it's gets stressful when the kids split up and want to play in different places and I can't watch them both at the same time, but other than that, everyone has a great time. There is also a large picnic area, a great place for a bigger family gathering or birthday celebration. :) read more

One of the best parks I've been to yet! This is a large dinosaur fossil themed park with 2 playgrounds, a bridge, swings and a large dinosaur skeleton to climb on or under. They also have turtle water features which were a big hit with my little one. Note to self - bring a towel and change of clothes next time! There's 2 diggers where you sit on and operate the levers with your hands. I found this park unique in so many ways and my toddler had so much fun. Good for kids of all ages. Parking is ample. FYI - Appears on Google maps as 'Dinosaur park'. read more

Fossil Reef Park is a lovely park! My 8 year old son enjoys playing here very much. There's also an area for the little ones to play, and picnic tables in shaded areas. I love that there is a big field right next to it where our dogs can play! :) I highly recommend it. read more

Definitely recommend for kids ages 3-11 , if you throw party and want a jumper make sure you go to the office at the community center to get a wavier , and maybe even reserve the tables. Restrooms are available at the park, not the cleanest . read more

My kids love this park, especially my 4 year-old son. My 2 year-old daughter enjoys it as well and there are enough age-appropriate things for both of them there. The equipment is nice and well maintained with plenty of shade. The only thing I don't like is that because there are two "levels" to the playground, it's not easy to keep track of two kids that are 2&4. I don't helicopter but I also don't feel comfortable not being able to see both kids in a public setting. read more

I came here because the map showed this place had PokéStops. And I needed to find a restroom. There were some in the athletics center. No one was in there so I went uninterrupted. This place would probably be better used as a place to gain mileage for one's eggs and buddy, as there's a hill one has to walk up to where the fossil signs are. But I managed to shave some distance off a quest by walking back and forth this way. There aren't a lot of people here so I won't get criticized for playing location games. Perfect! Water feature, proper shade for kids and parents, and a range of play structures for kids. There is also a softball field and open field if you just want to run or play frisbee. We will definitely be back to enjoy this park this summer. read more

Great playground for dinosaur lovers! My 4 year old wanted to see dinosaur bones, but I didn't want to deal with weekend museum crowds. So we came here and he had a great time! He dug for fossils in the sand pit, climbed the whale skeleton, ran around the play gym, and got soaked by the fountain turtles. There are plenty of shady areas for kids to play and PA parents to sit. Afterwards, we went into the community center to see the fossil exhibits, so he felt like he got a mini-museum trip in the end. The community center also has a "technology center" with a small library, including children's books. The bathrooms, which are super clean, are to your right when you walk in, near the basketball gym. read more

This is a great park. It has a large playground and swings on a second "level" then it has as a large sand area playground on the bottom. It also has a little toddler park on the side. This is in addition to the large fields, picnic areas, and sports area. The only thing is sometimes it gets busy and crowded with parties and being next to a high school sometimes older kids are there. read more

This park is great! It's clean. Parking is easy and abundant. There is plenty of shade and space for picnics. There's a big kid playground and a smaller one for the littles. Tire swing, regular swings and baby swings. Fossils to climb in, on and around AND turtle statues that are actually a water feature to play in! And the ground is the rubber flooring but there is a sandy space to dig and play. Pretty much has everything my kids want in a playground! We will definitely be back! read more
