From the numerous emails due to being nervous purchasing on line and one phone call to the quickness in getting the item ordered, everything was first-class. I am 3 quarters of a century old and have dealt with jewelers since following my father to jewelers from the age of 15. Other than one jeweler I found who is now retired, I have struggled to find a reputable jeweler that I could trust and be completely comfortable with for larger purchases for a few years now. So my search has ended with Joseph Robert Jewelry. I certainly give them an A++ rating, as well as word-of-mouth to anyone who will listen who wants exemplary service and good quality. Lisa ermine

Quite possibly the worst jewelry store in the area. SEVERE lack of professional. For starters the…read moreservice here is absolutely terrible. My experience here has been nothing less than the worst jewelry shopping experience I've ever had. I visited the store first in order to pick something out for my spouse to get me for Valentine's Day. We set the bracelet aside with a lady who had the biggest attitude and absolutely ruined our shopping experience, but we still set aside the bracelet, we had my spouse go and attempt to pick up the bracelet that we had set aside under his name, which they then told him they didn't have anything set aside in the back. We told them they did because we were literally just there a few days prior so they went ahead and looked again and they found the bracelet which my spouse then purchased, within two days of receiving the bracelet one of the stones had already fallen out, so I called and let them know that the bracelet had lost a stone within the first few days, they told me to bring back in so they could fix it so we brought it back in and they said it would be done in 2-3 days, they would give us a call when the bracelet is ready... an entire three weeks passes and we have not heard from them so we called them to which they told us they hadn't even gotten the stone yet for the bracelet so they're gonna go get another stone and they would give us a call... another week goes by and we have not heard from them what so ever. I called again to which they informed us that they must have gotten our phone number wrong because they called somebody but it wasn't us. Probably the most unprofessional place I have ever been to. I would skip this place at all costs unless you're into jewelry that loses stones within a few days and playing phone tag with people who can't even get phone numbers right. No wonder this place doesn't accept refunds because they would probably go out of business with how many returns they would get.

Over the years we have often thought of finding a good custom jeweler to create a beautiful setting for her stone. In July of this year (2019) we moved to Stuart Florida. We took Pat's stone to another local jeweler with decades of experience. The result left much to be desired. We then heard about John David Cooney. We made an appointment to go in to talk with John David. I had come up with a couple of possible ideas and wanted John David's opinion. John David sat down with us, went over our ideas, asked many questions to get an idea of what we were looking for, then began to jot down initial ideas of his own. The end result was a magnificent, hand made, one of a kind, true masterpiece in white gold. John David created an exceptionally bold ring out of white gold that really showed of Pat's large aquamarine to the max. We are overwhelmed at the beauty and creativity of the ring that John David Cooney made for us and would highly recommend that anyone looking for that uniquely personal piece of jewelry make a point to visit John David Cooney at his place of business in Stuart Florida. Believe us, you will not be disappointed.
