Currently this game goes for $3.67 on pricecharting, heck when it game out in 2008 its peak was only a measly $5. Multiple gbc/gba shovelware games all overmarket, by around 10 dollars as well. In general the amount of 3-5 dollar games that they are trying to pass off as 15 - 20 dollar games is dis gracefully disgusting. The point of traveling to these stores are to get the good deals. All of the inventory they have are traded in for or donated so it makes NO sense! It seems that the employees make guesses when it comes to prices, that or they are being told to overprice by upper management. By the gaming section there was a sign that claimed that all of the consoles and equipment is tested beforehand by "gamers with over 30 years of experience" whatever that means. I got an Xbox One Kinect from them back in December, and worked normally. A couple days later I wanted to try using its mic functionality, was not functioning. So it was never fully tested by "gamers with over 30 years of experience" lol. The worst part is that they give you a 3 day warranty... it's not like people have kids, jobs, or other commitments I guess. The media (dvds and blu rays) were also overpriced per usual. Usually only by 5-10 bucks. My main discrepancy today was that I saw multiple dvds and blu rays with dirt and filth smattered on the covers. Your telling me that they have the audacity to up charge, and still refuse to even spend 10 seconds wiping the cover with a lysol wipe? Is it that hard to do? Disgusting! I can't speak on their book pricing as I am not well versed but pretty much everything else is overpriced in this store. It really sucks because these type of stores are supposed to be for lower income families who can't buy new. And instead is being treated like a greedy gaming convention booth. I genuinely feel bad for kids nowadays who want to start growing a small gaming collection post pandemic. With greedy "thrift" stores like this, even the shovel ware games are off-limits.

Service was fine although I didn't really talk to many people while there (was more preoccupied with finding the books and checking them out). I'd say this place has great value as the books i got (3) were charged a total of just under $5. I can see why the staff put up flyers stating to be mindful with how many books the customers get as they're priced pretty low, allowing you to collect a decent amount. The store itself is super crowded - narrow aisles, things precariously stacked about in places. Get more than a few people in here and it's hard to move around. It was also quite cold inside as they left the front door open (in January) the entire time we were there. The owner is fantastic and helpful and knows where his stock is. Prices vary and are generally pretty good - less expensive than other places in town, for the most part. Sidetracks will definitely be a stop for us any time we're in town.

The owner, John, was personable and helpful and offered sound advice on vinyl records and caring for my new player. In addition to picking up albums from Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Bob Marley, I also picked up some handmade incense and a cleaning kit. Overall, it was a pleasant shopping experience, and I will return to Dragon Song the next time I am in Manassas. It is important to support local, small businesses!

The prices were no where near the levels found online, (data bases are there for a reason,) he used a book from who knows when to come up with the prices. Which even if accurate, (it may have been,) the grading was completely off base. The guys there seemed nice enough, don't think I don't appreciate the pleasant conversation. But when a new pressing is $8 to $10 dollars more than any other retailer, and the used albums are, in some cases, 100% or more overpriced, it is hard to spend that kind of money for an inferior product.

Not only did they perform such a scummy act, but they were laughing about it to customers. This store also effectively forces you to buy a pack just to play in their events and frames it as a free pack even though you pay for it with your entry. On an entirely different but more concerning note, I have personally watched the owner and a female employee be incredibly rude and condescending multiple times to another male employee.

Anyways, I found a lot of Yaoi/BL manga which I was very surprise about. I know the commonly known books stores are now distribute them too but they sticking to the "trendy" ones. While there isn't a whole section here, you can be sure to find other mangas of your liking such as Haikyuu, Bleach, Blood-C, Naruto and among others. There are a 2-3 Asian food stores in same block but that's about it.
