Card Cellar has an unexpected variety of shopping opportunities. I almost dismissed the shop based on the name, but a cute bag in the window caught my eye, so I turned back and went inside. The store was not at all what I expected. There seemed to be something I NEEDED at every turn. After realizing I'd go bankrupt if I purchased all the items I loved, I made a grown up decision and just bought a gift for my daughter. I'll definitely be back, though. When i went here for the first time it was amazing they have all kinds of cards. I was specificly looking for pokemon cards and they had a great selection of booster packs with great prices. Not only that and the staff are amazing and i had a great time there with funny moments. Also got some free stuff like toploaders and some cards. I come to this shop a lot to get cards I need for either collecting or for decks I'm building however today I had a sour experience. I needed some cards so I decided to call ahead to save a trip. I told the girl on the phone the cards I needed and I could hear her clicking on the computer to then tell me "we don't have any at the store " I needed to come into town anyways so I just decided to come in anyways . When I get there first thing I see and the first thing at the top of the case was 3 copies of the card I called asking about. I would have much rather had them tell me "were super busy today and unfortunately can't go look at the product we have out at the moment ." Instead of just telling me straight up they didn't have it when they absolutely did. The girl who usually is there that is incredibly helpful and kind wasnt there today and I feel if she was that interaction would have went differently . I'll still be back but I really hope this issue is resolved soon . -1star for customer service. read more

Great store for a sports fan! They have a good mix of team merchandise... minus one star for having an over abundance of Cowboys and Steelers crap. But if you are a fan of one of those teams, then you might love this place. Sports jewelry, car mats, dog toys, band aids, baseball cards, household/kitchen items, signed memorabilia ... just a few things I remember spotting. Might be a good place to stop if you are shopping for gifts for a sports fan. read more

Went to Card Cellar today for Small Business Saturday. Great selection of merchandise and not just for sports fans. Customer service was excellent. My daughter actually bought a few gifts for her teachers. Great spot to find a gift for the hard to shop for. read more

This is my 10 year old's favorite store to go to. He loves all things Pokémon and the sweet owner always makes this such a good experience for me and my son to enjoy. You can tell that the owner truly cares and loves what he does. He keeps later hours than many of the stores downtown and he make sure that the store has a variety of things for every member of the family. I have gotten my most comfy sleep shirts and cozy socks and seasonal doormat inserts at this place while my son tried to select his favorite Pokémon packs. I highly recommend this wonderful store to anyone who ventures downtown. read more

Pretty cool store in downtown Fredericksburg a little hard to categorize There are a lot of official sports logo stuff (lamps, cards, artwork, misc like logo hammers) but the side that captured me while my guy browsed and watched a game was full of artsy stuff (purses, jewelry, scarfs, decor, plates). Who can complain about having unique girlie things with some of that hard-to-find team logo decor in a one-stop shop? That a girl sometimes wants to buy a team type gift to get on the good side of her sports fanatic? Grab a scarf or necklace for yourself. Or even some original clay designs from an artist in Bulgaria. I enjoyed it. Can't beat downtown Fredericksburg for browsing. Small town with American History. Antiques. Art. Crafts.
