I purchased 2 orders with them recently one was a layaway I intended on paying within a span of a week (was going to make 3 payments) and the other was an affirm. Started off fine paid tax prices on both but expected from trax. They said they verified my first layaway payment after one day and then I submitted my second payment and it made me verify again after taking my payment. After 200 chats with support trying to verify and over 5 phone calls (sending in ID front back, holding my ID, front and back of debit card, holding my debit card MULTIPLE TIMES) they could not verify my order they said they would refund the order and cancel. they refunded a portion of the money then took it back out of my account the next morning. contacted support again (day 5 of dealing with this btw) and they said they only received my first layaway payment and that I had to call again then they finally found my payment for that order after 5 days and now they are saying the refund is going to take 5 days just so l can buy the order and pay in full to not deal with there bullshit anymore. My second order on affirm is nearly not as bad I ordered a few days ago and was just verified today by there team but no payment was taken out now it says my first payment starts next month when it was supposed to start this month anyways don't mind to much about that but there whole system is a mess. This was so simple the ID address matches the shipping and billing address as well there was nothing wrong at all. Just a complete failure on the entire trax staff team 5 days of absolute hell and they still have my money. I've ordered from Johnny dang and multiple other jewelers just fine this has been a miserable experience been thrown in so many circles. Update - second time around buying a jeweler named Elliot quoted me a much higher price than another jeweler the previous day and refused to lower the price even tho I had just lost the invoice message from the day before. I messaged Steven and he handled it immediately. Max should be ashamed of his staff I understand they have to make there cut but I'm sure he wants you to sell product. I ordered an exact order that I previously had that unfortunately got stolen. I worked with "Hamza" he sent me the pendant and chain that I ordered before and it was supposed to be the exact order from last time. Somehow. The pendant was 1 gram short. Not that big of a deal. The chain however was 26 grams short. You heard me right 26 grams lighter than the previous chain. I told him my issue and he said return chain and correct one would be sent. I returned the chain and am still waiting. Original order date November 15th 2021. This review is being posted February 1 2022. This is after dealing with Hamza and another customer service rep that assured me the issue would get solved. I have contacted customer service 5-10 different times now and can't get any answers on my issue. My only next recourse is to dispute the charge with my creditor to Get my money back. The sad part is. I don't even want my money back. I just want what I ordered! I have dealt with this company 2 other times in the past but I assure you after this run around. Upon getting my Rolex verified at The watch buyers group in Los Angeles California( check em out very valid and verified business unlike trax ) I was informed the box was completely fake . First off, buying from track nyc, they communicate well, but what they communicate you cannot trust. They offer a 30 day warranty on items unless you spend at least 5 grand. Within 30 days I've lost 2 diamonds. The response time for a repair to be put in place was forever. I asked how much weight in gold was in my piece was told 7.2, which is actually the overall weight, which the appraisal sent to me with the pendant said only 5.9 grams. I don't even want to wait 2 months to send my piece back and wait for it to return. Buy from a local jeweler. My piece looks good but if you pay close attention the diamond "paved" set is awful. Lost 2 diamonds within a months time. What a joke. Would not recommend. *update now has been 2 months and more diamonds have fallen out of my pendant. read more

My buying experience with Jesse at TraxNyc was perfect. I contacted Trax to get some estimates for a custom piece with a super mario theme to celebrate my successes in 2019. First I determined a max budget, forwarded my super mario design and we got started looking at layouts and different ideas i had for how i wanted the piece to look and function. Once i decided on gold karat and color along with the size and carat content of the charms we moved onto selecting a chain. I wanted a puffed gucci or anchor style link thay was solid gold. This is very rare to find as most puffy style chains are semi hollow to save money. It took a few weeks of waiting and checking in for exciting updates but before i knew it my custom piece was finished and in the mail overnight vis fedex. Jesse answered all my many and sometimes annoying questions, it can be exciting but nervous to get your first custom piece so i had a ton of tiny detail questions. I had custom ordered a men's diamond ring back in December and received ring in beginning of January.  Was not happy with some of the quality (milky spots and feathering) on some of the stones and returned the ring.  The Trax associate I was in contact and dealing with was Amy.  The ring was returned to have the stones replaced.  It took about a month and half to get the ring back.  When I  did receive the ring the stones were of a much better quality and all had individual GIA certifications.
