Overpriced. Shit customer service. Never bought any real jewlery and wanted to get some gold for some bling and a small investment. Apparently jewelry is not at all s good investment. As far as quality I love them all. The website tells you exactly what type of diamonds are in the pieces so you have options to purchase the type of diamonds that fit your budget while assuring you have genuine quality ice to fit any budget. I'm blown away by the diamond quality and service from TraxNYC. I dealt with Jewelers all throughout downtown Brooklyn and the diamond district in Manhattan and I must say from service to quality this has been my best experience. 12/2011 my engagement ring was bought from Trax. We had a beyond terrible experience with an associate named Bryan. **THE RING THAT WE PAID FOR, WAS NOT THE RING THAT WE RECEIVED.** The paperwork that they sent me with the ring was **FALSE.** It stated that the ring was 2.35 carats (see photo), when in real life it was 1.2 carats. The ring we PAID for was 1.8cts, with g-h (near colorless) diamonds. The unwanted ring that they had sent me had dark grey ones, and one that was dark urine yellow (see pictures). Also, they didn't even size it before they sent it to me, it was 2 sizes too small. So, I couldn't even wear it! I sent the ring to have it sized. Bryan told me would be free; and later tried to charge me for the service. They also sent it back to me missing a diamond, and then blamed it on the shipping..........even though there wasn't a loose diamond in the packaging. I was given no other options for this ring. So, I just decided to live with it, and cut this drama out of my life...I couldn't bare to argue with Bryan and this company anymore..Bryan was rude, would barely answer the phone, I felt like a stalker, waiting for the next email, or for the next phone call. I joined YELP recently, and left them a *one star review a few weeks ago. *6/19* Paul at Trax, is willing to exchange my current ring for a different one. One that I actually pick out and like (what a concept!!!). I was skeptical at first, because I wasn't sure how I was going to handle another ring disappointment. I am told that Bryan is ***no longer*** with the company because he wasn't much of a people person....Hmmm. Guess I'm not as "disturbed", like a previous reviewer (filtered review) had made me out to be. I'm sure if he bought a ring for his wife, and didn't get what he paid for, he wouldn't be a happy camper either. This is my first time interacting with Paul, who informed us that he had just learned about my situation a few hours ago..doesn't surprise me. That Bryan character didn't sound like he was going to share this large of a mistake with anybody. I am still in shock, after all this time the way this was handled. Paul starts sending emails, telling me that he has over 40 rings for me to choose from to replace my icky one. Not crazy about any of them, I ask Paul for more suggestions while I look at the TRAX website. Paul says that as soon as I pick a ring and ship him my old one, he will let me have a new ring sent to me. I tell him I am going to hold off on shipping until I know the ring I want is IN stock, and made at the right size....Seeing how that was the problem we ran into last year. It took someone 5 days to send an email, (not even call) that the ring that we had already paid for was "out of stock". Looking on their website, I find 3 rings I like. We agreed to stick to the budget of the original price of the first order back in 2011, and I select a ring out of the 3. I try to call Paul on the number he gave me, with no answer. Mailbox is full, and I am unable to leave a message...........Frustrating ! ! I know that there is a 3 hour time difference from Las Vegas to New York, and that only complicates things more. *6/21* Paul informs me that he does have the ring I like in the showroom, but sizing it to an 8 would ruin it..of course, my first choice would have been too easy to just happen smoothly... He sends me 2 more pictures of rings that are "similar" to the un-size-able ring... Still, I wasn't crazy about the ones he sent, so I picked the 2nd ring from their website. *6/24* Paul emails me, and lets me know that the ring I want, he only has in Yellow gold, and is working on getting it in white. This makes their website VERY misleading to me, because I'm looking at it right NOW, in WHITE gold. I think that the website needs some major upgrading... If you're out of something, it should say "out of stock", like most major companies do. I think that would eliminate a lot of confusion and frustration... Just my honest opinion. *6/26* I am not sure what happened to the ring that he was looking for in white gold, but I receive an email from Paul again. Saying that he found a different ring, that was more than what we paid for originally. He sent me pictures, and I was in LOVE. 6/29 My new ring arrives, and O M G. The only down side, is that it didn't fit.... The ring has a very thick band, which made it too tight, and it had to be sized up. Not exactly what I wanted to be doing on my Saturday morning. I am very grateful that Paul has given us this opportunity for me to have a new ring. He seemed very sincere in the apology he gave me for Bryan's behavior. Words can not express my gratitude. If you live in Canada do no buy from Traxnyc . Here's my experience, I was dealing with Vidal his service was semi good. I purchased a pendant, once I received it I looked closer at it with a magnifying glass & noticed there was missing diamonds . Vidal had asked me to send it back to have it fixed. Sent it back , someone at traxnyc somehow accidentally refused it & It was shipped back to me . Once I got it back he refunded me the shipping & asked me to send it back so I did. This was all the way back in April 2022. I sent it back & now it has been forwarded to them & hasn't moved for over 5 days . I called USPS & they told me that the supplier who initially sent it has to reach out to them . I let Vidal know & the trax shipping team said that I have to reach out to usps not them. That's one then I had also bought a bracelet that I made sure to ask Vidal can you please make sure that the clasp works properly & there's no missing diamonds . I've received it today & upon a closer examination once again it has missing diamonds, scratches on the clasp & the clasp itself once shut does not reopen unless priyed open with my teeth as I've tried just with my fingers & it doesn't budge . Vidal asked me to send it back once again to fix but I am not willing to as my pendant is still out there missing not sure if I will get it back . Long story short I had a bad first experience with Traxnyc spent over 3500$ to get items that are either damaged or missing diamonds.
