Tucked right inside GrubStreet--a nonprofit creative writing community center--this unique Seaport gem is the perfect inspiring spot to grab a drink and browse a cute bookstore. The highlight here is their coffee tasting flights, which lets you try a trio or quad of their rotating specials. We got a trio featuring the Honeybee Lavender, "Dirty" Oreo Mocha, and Ube Earl Grey, and each one was unique and coffee was super smooth. Though, they are a bit heavy on the dairy. They also make fantastic iced teas if you're looking for something non dairy but still refreshing! The space has some comfy seats to relax in, but even if it looks crowded, the line moves super fast since most people are grabbing their cups to head straight to the waterfront right outside. Came here on Presidents' Day to enjoy a nice Latte Flight. And it did not disappoint. The four lattes featured were: Beso De Leche, Choco-Berry, Creamy Cookies, and Nutty and Juicy. Each of them was delicious but the Choco-Berry and Nutty and Juicy stood out. Both of these creations were simply delicious! The service was great with no issues and the ambiance of the establishment is set within a book store. So the vibes are right! The price on this flight is $25. So it's not cheap but it's worth it to get a wide taste of what Travelmug has to offer. Would return for additional coffee goodness! read more

A very cute cafe, attached to an even cuter bookstore. I love seeing pops of color in Seaport so shoutout to this spot. Plus, there's a good amount of seating inside and outside on the sidewalk too. I came with my friend after seeing they had drink flights served on skateboards. How cool?! It's too bad, they don't mention during the reservation process that the flavors are pre-chosen for you whenever you walk in. There was a sign with 4 flavors listed, and those were the set flavors that day for the drink flights. We couldn't swap them or anything. It's too bad because the flavors were also kinda strange. Orange juice and coffee? Banana and coffee? Between the two of us, we couldn't even finish a single cup completely since the flavors were off. It would've been just as successful if we could pick the flavors or if one was even just a plain lemonade or something. Still a cute spot for sure! read more

I had been dying to try this spot for the longest time after first hearing about the unique, upbeat cafe's opening, and let me tell you the commute is worth it! If you find yourself in the Seaport or have a free day to do some traveling, this is a must stop! Its seating area is on the smaller side, but there's plenty of available work space perfect for a productive study day or just a chill time with friends. The service is fast and the menu offers a variety of fun drinks to choose from. I was also pleasantly surprised by the amazing quality of their pastries (which are half off after 2 pm!) This place is cheap, such a fun vibe being connected to a cute bookstore, and their menu delivers on flavors! Can't recommend enough! read more

Hunted for recommended matcha shops in the area and this was the first on the list. I had to try their flight. I think they have a missed opportunity of using an airplane instead of a skateboard considering the window faces the airport. This is definitely meant to be shared between two people. I think it was the equivalent of 2 matcha drinks. The matcha coconut water was refreshing, the lavender matcha reminded me of fruity pebbles/fruit loops, the raspberry was very tart, and the chocolate matcha was super rich. Would definitely get it again when I'm in the area with more people to split it with. read more

Came in on a Tuesday before noon and was pleased to find this sunny little spot inside the bookstore. There were a few people sitting around but otherwise there was no line. My sister and I ordered an iced chai latte and an iced blood orange hibiscus tea. We found a seat by the corner and waited for our drinks. It was a little hard to hear over the music and the other patrons talking so after about five minutes I went back to the counter to check on our drinks just in case we missed them calling out our order. Neither of our drinks were ready at that point so I waited a few more minutes for them to make the chai. When it was finally done they asked if I had gotten the iced tea yet, which I obviously hadn't, so they quickly got it ready for me. I was confused by the delay, since it took almost ten minutes to prepare a single chai latte. Definitely a cute spot if you want a treat after book shopping, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

Good spot for a flavored coffee which is what appears to draw people in if they're not heading to browse the bookstore that's connected. Coffee flavor wasn't super apparent but that's alright when you're drinking an apple butter iced coffee. They also have cookies from the half cookie in Newton for sale so come try them here if you don't want to drive out. The cafe has a good amount of seating, huge windows and lots of natural light making it a good spot to read a book or meet up with a friend for coffee. It isn't super busy early on weekend mornings but service is still quick and efficient here. read more

Tl;dr make sure you prebook your flight and understand it can only be an espresso flight or matcha flight My sister traveled into town for her birthday to go here for the flights we saw online but unfortunately the information was very confusing. The cafe was not busy when we arrived (one person ordering in front of us and one person sat). We asked for the flights, to learn it had to be prebooked. Online it says booking a flight is an option but I didn't know what time we would arrive; I didn't realize pre booking was fully required from the info online. More signage and clear instructions on this would be helpful! They looked at their reservation system and said they may be able to make a flight then, but when we asked for a half matcha half coffee flight they said no. Apparently you can only do one or the other, which was a bit confusing given the online menu saying that the flights are a fun way to try a mix of your favorite flavors. Because of dietary restrictions between us, we couldn't do just one or the other. Because we couldn't do a mix, they offered to make any of the flight flavors full sized instead (nice!). But when my sister asked for one of the 4 listed flavors, the banana flavor, full sized they said no (why offer then?). I ended up liking the matcha I got, and the bookstore was cute, but overall a pretty negative customer service experience. We were willing and excited to pay for a mixed flight but the lack of flexibility made it hard to even get one. read more

If I could give it a zero I would. I got two coffee orders. Both of which were very easy orders. They made me wait 40 min and got BOTH wrong. No one back there knew what they were doing. One of the coffees they forgot to put the actual coffee in it... it was just milk. I would recommend going some place else. EXCELLENT lattes, a few food offerings, the cutest coffee flight (I didn't get it but it was around). It was nice out so sat at one of the tables outside and excellent view. Chill place. The most incredible hidden gem in the Boston Seaport. Went over with a coworker after we heard about the coffee and matcha flights, and BOY did they live up to the expectation. This place is SO cute!! The interior has such a cute design and it's nestled right inside the cutest bookstore. I got a blueberry ube matcha latte and a blueberry bagel with cream cheese. The matcha was really fantastic. I love that they were able to make such a unique floor combo. The bagel complemented the drink well. I will definitely be coming back! read more
