Flynn is kept busy and the activities are well planned and age appropriate. The staff are extremely loving and compassionate as well. Everyone who works here, including the administrative staff are not only professional, but they go the extra mile to make you and your kids feel like you are part of a family. When my son has been hurt or is sick, they call immediately. Communication is excellent and you never feel like they are keeping things from you or that your child is being neglected. My daughter started at LPA in the infant room with Jennifer, who was just wonderful. I love that they make bringing bottles and baby food for your babe so easy, and then once your kiddo is big enough to eat real food, they provide it all! I've totally gotten spoiled not having to pack diapers and food for Penny every day. Once Penny was older, she transferred to the toddler room and has developed in leaps and bounds! We lovelovelove her teachers Laylan, Jovani, Senait, Nicole, and all the rest who pop in to help out regularly. They have daily outside play (weather permitting), do fun activities, crafts, have music class, sometimes outside vendors are brought in to do things like a science show or an animal show-and-tell, etc. Penny has blossomed here and loves going to "school" to see all her friends and teachers. My son started when he was 3 months in the infant room. Naima, Erica and Martha are all pros when it comes to the little ones. And now in the Infant II class, we can see how much our son love his teachers. As in any setting with a group of kids, the usual kid drama (bites, fights, and accidents) happens, but the school does an excellent job of dealing with these situations and they are always more than happy to discuss any concerns that you may have. Buyer beware! This place is a scam and I'd give 0 stars if I could. They will pressure you into a…read morelong term contract, tell you that you can cancel prior to a month with no issues and then flip the script and keep your money. I am severely disappointed and angry about this experience. I was lured into this place by an ad for 3 month SAT prep and then was steered and pressured into an expensive and useless 6 month contract -although they said during the evaluation that my child did not need remedial work. They said the 3 month SAT prep is a National Promo and not something they were doing but they could still help her prepare for the SAT. We decided to try and if not a good fit we'd cancel during the allowed time period. Great. My child attended 2x a week for 90 min and worked on worksheets. No one on one tutoring or lessons or group co-hort. It was loud and boisterous and she compared it to a babysitting service for little kids working on math. If that's what you need then this is the place for you. However look at the contract and all the fine print-it's like a shady gym with many fees designed to keep your money despite poor service. We joined on Nov 14th and paid $453. There was Thanksgiving break- ok. We cancelled on Dec 10th. They had charged us $509 on Dec 1st (2 weeks after joining!) and I asked for a refund for the month of December since she'd only attended 4 classes - one class in December. I explained it's a bad fit for a high school student- it's loud and geared for little kids. Furthermore, tutors are high schools students and not a great fit. They said no we don't charge a penalty for leaving but we can't give you your money back once it has been charged. They dismissed my email with a breezy "we hope you understand." They are a scam. This means we paid $240 for each class. Outrageous. Shameful. Horrible place.

We've taken classes starting at the Tiny Tots programs all the way up to the Pre-K level classes. The teachers are all kind and caring and my children have made wonderful friends. They have learned so much during their time here both academically and socially. The curriculum is play-based, but it is still structured enough to be a very beneficial option to assist with transitioning into a traditional Kindergarten environment. The classes take place inside a really neat historic school house and often includes outdoor adventures to the adjacent playgrounds and Frying Pan Farm Park to visit with the animals. I wish my own preschool experience had been this fun!

We've been very happy with Communikids Falls Church. Imagine! A preschool with immersion classes…read morewith three language options.The program is wonderful as are the teachers. All teachers are native speakers of the target language. There are many options to choose from as far as pickups and drop-off times, so it can work with your budget/ schedule. They will take children who are not potty trained yet and actually assist you in that process! Snack is provided by the school. Lunch is provided by the families, or there is an option to purchase a got lunch from a 3rd party who will deliver it. Around $5-6 depending on the options you've chosen. The summer program is also great! They go up to age 6 or 7 depending on the language. I would say the program is a bit more expensive than others in the area, but you are getting language exposure (and possibly potty training help) so I think it's fair. The school also has several accreditations that have minimums standards that must be adhered to and that provides structure that you might not see elsewhere. That costs money, and it's money well spent. The teachers wear gloves when handing out food, there are always dates on lunches Ave water bottles. It's a tighter organization than some. Additionally, the non refundable deposits are higher than other area schools, but again, the school has to secure native language speakers in all three languages for each class level and they need firm numbers. So read the fine print (it's there for you) and don't sign up if you plan on canceling if something you like better opens up. This is not the program to do that with. The learning is play based and my only wish is that it was a little *less* structured. However, I'm unusual in that I prefer a Waldorf type atmosphere, and that's not the usual vibe in this area were people are dreaming of Harvard while baby is still in utero . All in all we've been so happy with Communikids and I hope they start extending their summer program to older kids.
