The class was fun, educational and most-importantly, taught me how to help save a life. I would highly-recommend this to anyone who needs CPR certification for their job or just to prepare yourself for the possibility of needing it. The instructors are a mixed bag. Some clearly have no experience or business teaching anything. Some are very good. And don't get me started on the fact that staff were still required to go into their shared offices/cubicles at the height of the pandemic. The only times they could work from home (with their webcams on so the owner could see they were working) was when colleagues happened to test positive. That was only until everyone tested negative. Then you had to go back to the office until the next one was positive, then the cycle repeated. Mediocre community college, at best.

My daughter is a BSN student at Chamberlain University's Virginia campus. She's been enrolled for a…read moreyear and is on the Dean's List. Recently, her account was put on financial hold. As soon as we learned about it, she did exactly what we were told to do. She secured a private student loan, and the lender sent the certification to Chamberlain on August 14, 2025. We were told funds would be applied within 3-5 business days. Today is August 26, and nothing has been posted. Because of this hold, she can't register for the next session starting next week. Chamberlain also told us she would be eligible for a $2,000 scholarship after completing eight sessions without interruption. If she can't register due to delays on the school's side, she will be disqualified. That would be unfair given that she followed every instruction promptly. We've tried to resolve this with Student Finance. We were promised a supervisor call within 24-48 hours, but no one called. When we asked to escalate, we were told that takes another 3-5 business days. She was also told to email onlinestudentfinance@chamberlain.edu for a PKA and sent that on August 18. She has not received any response. My daughter is working hard and doing well academically. Please clear the financial hold, apply the loan funds that were certified on August 14, allow her to register for the upcoming session, and ensure she remains eligible for the scholarship she was promised. Families deserve timely communication and follow-through.

She's excelling academically and doing her part. Administrative delays should not derail her progress or cost her scholarship. English is for sure their second language. He was short and rude on the phone. Next I go to the exam and had to park next door. Very unprofessional and unfriendly staff. I had to wait for awhile..then go into a back "office" to pay $40 to them to test there. Then I'm taken to the third floor where u sit in a small room full of old computers, next to a very busy street. There was so much street noise, I could not concentrate. They don't explain anything to you and can't answer any question that I had because they did not seem to understand me. Never again, I do not recommend this place to test at all.

Most of staff cannot speak English and they are most Indians which is even funny. Given Indians speak some sort of anglo language. The Africans at the front desk in Virginia campus were as stupid for being arrogant, as if I could not afford this school and just came from some fast food restaurant in NYC. They kept asking me if I wanted CPT and would be willing to pay some tea money to get this and a payment plan. It seemed they wanted to earn some cash reward for refering me as well.
