My son has taken drum lessons elsewhere for over a year. And has only learned patterns. We came to…read moreSchool of Rock and he learned so much in just a few weeks! How to set up his drums. The idea of ear plugs for his sensitive ears. Picking out songs he likes so he can learn them with other kids. His teacher is great! And he is really enjoying it! The lessons are twice a week so it keeps drumming in his head. It feels like he is on his way to be in a kid band instead of stuck in a sound proof room playing patterns. We are very happy with the whole experience. The office manager is professional, smart and well organized. The teachers are talented and good to the kids. We will be here for a while! I look forward to my son's concerts in the future! PS - we have been to several concerts performed by a plethora of students. Very cool. Great experience!!

I don't understand this place. I got an initial call back to discuss how the place works, but then…read morescheduling a trial lesson was like pulling teeth-- calling, emailing, finally texting. Took forever. Got to the trial lesson only to be told the person we'd worked so hard to get wasn't available so it's with so-and-so. Uh. Fine, but we picked the other person for a reason. And booked another trial with the original teacher, only to get to THAT lesson and realize it's still not the instructor we'd been aiming for. While sitting during the lesson, another student walked in and was told "oh so-and-so is no longer with us so this other person will be your teacher today." What? So you're not told ahead of time? (The mom asked when they'd known this teacher was leaving and it was two weeks prior, but they didn't bother to give anyone notice.) I find it strange that you pay in advance for these situations. Anyway. It's too poorly managed for me, which is too bad because it is certainly a great concept.

Why did you agree to the $75…read moreprice if you already called and asked on the phone and scheduled for the hair appointment?? $75 is verrry cheap to treat for your DAMAGED hair. Whoever you went to prior to Paulette's is the place you need to complain to! You probably complained to there too!! If you are just one of those people that go to Yelp and constantly complain on everywhere you've been at, you might as well just stay your butt at home and treat your own d*mn hair!! I've been going to Paulette for over 5 years and have always had the best hair experience. I get compliments from strangers at malls, work and at party events. Very professional and lovely environment. I would never switch to another salon. My mom introduced me to Paulette years ago. Paulette trained my mom (a cosmetologist as well) on new trendy styles etc. after my first visit, I was hooked onto Paulette's magnificent highlights, haircut she did to my hair. I am really impressed by Paulette's mastery how she blends colors to make my hair look so pretty. I have definitely gotten plenty of compliments over the years regarding my highlights and layers. Paulette is truly really great at what she does. She also has a big heart!

Barbizon is absolutely a scam. Well maybe not a scam but just barley. You do go to classes and get…read morestuff but it's garbage and not what you think it will be. They give you basic instructions that most children will already know with exception of some makeup and walking skills. They don't care about your kids and are just running a BS class and with what appears to be uninterested teachers. In the one class we went to two teachers just flat didn't show up so there is one lady screaming at a room full of kids because she can't control them. Also they will not refund your money if you try to cancel after a class. There is simply no one to get ahold of. Everyone disappears. We even sent certified letter to the HQ in Tampa. Nothing. If you want your kid to get into modeling this is not the way.

I recently spent $1,095 to enroll my daughter in Passport to Discovery. At the time, my daughter…read morewas interested in participating in the competition. Since then, due to school demands and preparing for college, her goals have changed as well as her responsibilities for preparing for SAT's AP classes and colleges applications. She is no longer interested in participating. I was told that if I pay an additional $175 that she could be placed in another competition for the following year. However, my daughter is not interested at all. So, I requested that my money be refunded to me, especially when it's a large sum of money that will not be utilized and I have my own health issues that need to be paid for. I told the Barbizon representative, Jamie Mannella, and pleaded with her to refund the money and explained the circumstances that I just mentioned above. She said that it could not be refunded. So, basically, what I'm here to tell all of you interested in participating is that you MUST make sure that this is what you or your child really wants before committing to pay a large sum of money. Because, they are not willing to work with you except to force your child to participate in a competition that they clearly will not do well in, because they are being forced to do it and have no interest. If Barbizon and Passport to Discovery "Really" cared about your child and their success, they would not be so un compassionate and rigid about refunding money to a family that has stated that there is no interest from the child and forcing them to pay for something that could be used toward our health bills that are currently taking precedence during these trying times in our world. Please just be sure that you and your child are convinced that this is what you want. Otherwise, you will be treated with the same unwillingness to help me and lack of empathy from the representatives. Lawanna Gough

We were a bit skeptical that the session was going to be 4 hours from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. We just didn't understand how we could be there for so long. I will tell you how, you learn the basics of massage and then you have a lot of time to practice on each other. We started with a short twenty minute lecture and then moved on to the basics of massage on a chair - starting with the head and shoulders and then moving to the massage beds. We probably spent 45 minutes in each position which made the time fly by. What I would suggest if you are taking the class is to eat before you go (we were rushing in the morning and didn't have time) and also drink lots of water before, during, and after!! It was a great way to spend a Saturday and to reconnect with my husband!
