This company is the one to choose when you're looking to rent clubs in the Scottsdale area. Every detail was handled both by email and personally by phone, talking to a real live person (Steve) who responded to my voice mail message quickly when I had a couple of questions. Clubs were delivered to my hotel's bellman as promised on the morning we needed them and picked up in the evening without any hassle. While not the latest and greatest clubs from the manufacturers they were only a few years old and in excellent condition. Best of all, the price! My hotel's golf concierge quoted me $75/set. Steve had my Taylor Made M-4's for $38 and left-handed Callaway X2's for my golf partner at $27. To top it all off, while on the phone with Steve he gave me some good recommendations for some of the lesser known and less expensive golf courses in the area that did not cost an arm and a leg to play but still offered the Arizona desert-like golf experience. If I was going to Scottsdale on a "golf only" vacation and playing every day for a week I'd probably pay whatever the airline wanted and bring my own clubs. But since I was with my wife and another couple and we were touring the area and only playing golf once, this was the better option and Traveling Caddie is highly recommended. read more

This is my first visit to AZ and definitely wanted to play golf. Had no idea where or who to rent clubs from. The concierge at our resort recommended Traveling Caddy and I am so thankful and happy she did. Traveling Caddy was fantastic! The rep. Door to door service (drop-off and pick-up) to the resort I was staying at ( right to my building/unit) made it so convenient and he delivered the clubs the same day I placed the order. The customer service is superb. The calendar on the website wasn't working one day so I gave Traveling Caddy a call and they kept in touch with me to make sure I had clubs for a Sunday outing after flying to Scottsdale from the East Coast. Really went above and beyond when it comes to customer service and that's what it is all about. It really is the best value and service around. WAY WAY more convenient than hauling your clubs when flying, and cheaper when you consider the extra bag charge and need to have a bag case. We used Traveling Caddy last year (Tucson flying out of Phoenix) and this year (Phoenix). Stephen helped us both times. Super accommodating re pickup and return, and fantastic email communication. If you are thinking it might be a hassle - don't even think about it. They really go out of the way to take that issue off the table. While it is nice to have your own clubs, we view it as a great opportunity to take different (better) clubs our for a spin. Good selection of clubs, great rates and terrific overall value. Steve was very informative from the start, and communicated with me throughout the process. My wife, two teenage boys and I came to Scottsdale and didn't want to lug 4 sets of clubs for just a couple of rounds. We found Traveling Caddy through a web search. Yes, ordering online was easy, their customer service was terrific - very flexible, and the price was more than fair. But the thing that surprised me most was the high quality of the clubs. Went to Scottsdale for a long weekend with some buddies. I don't own a travel case for my clubs and most courses rented clubs for $60+ per day. The clubs were $25/day $47/2days. They were delivered right to our doorstep at the house we rented by the one of the owners Stephen. He also picked them up right from our house when we were done golfing. Communications was great and the clubs were in great shape (like new). I don't golf that often, maybe 4-10 times a year but enough to own my own clubs. Definitely cheaper and less hassle then checking your clubs and lugging them across the country. Will use them again if we go back next year! read more

What a great service! l signed up for renting clubs with Traveling Caddie online about two weeks before our arrival in Phoenix. Steve (owner) took care of everything from that point on. He delivered the clubs to our hotel's front desk the afternoon before, and asked me to drop them off at the front desk when we were finished (which l did).
