This company is a scam!!! They lied to me get me to come to their presentation which was to provide me with update about timeshares and laws that have been passed that would allow me to get back my maintenance fees since COVID. They said they would help me do the paper work, etc.. I specifically asked how long I'd be there and was told usually about an hour, no more than 1.5 hours. The majority of the 1 hr and 15 minutes was spent on getting some info on my timeshares and then showing me this program that doesn't have maintenance fees and all the places I can go for cheaper than with my timeshares. I worked with Mario and Tony, I think his name was Tony. When it hit 1hr and 26 minutes I said I wasn't interested in the $15,000 fee to get out of my timeshare(s) and I was told I'd be there no more than 1.5 hrs. I told them I was told there wouldn't be any selling, they said they weren't selling me anything. Yes, they were.....they were trying to sell me/get me to pay them an exorbitant amount of money for their legal fees. I said I can get out of Wyndham on my own, Tony said there is not exit plan with them, he knows bc he worked for them. Whatever! Tony didn't like what I was saying to him so he started raising his voice and shaking his finger at me, which I am not going to tolerate, the next thing I know both men are raising their voices at me and telling me to leave. I said I'm not leaving without the incentive I was promised. They said they were getting security to put me out. Hotel people came and asked me to leave, I said I'm not leaving without my incentive. Then Tony tried to say I wasn't getting my incentive. Another man said he was working on it. Hotel staff said they were calling the non-emergency police and I said go ahead, I'm not doing anything wrong. I did my part and stayed for the presentation and I wanted was I was owed. I signed up with Options Travel a few years back (2021). They were going through adjustments at that time and changing their packages up. I had a couple of hiccups along the way. But the President of the branch out of Florida, Mr. Nolan Blacketer, has been extremely helpful and a man of his word. He has been responsive in addressing my concerns timely and saw to it that my couple of booked vacations were set up as promised. My personal experience with Travel Options: They say you are getting a resort package. Reality: You will be staying in motels and run-down resorts with limited amenities. They don't mention the 90-minute sales presentation until after you reserve your dates. The presentation is more like 3 hours. It ruins a whole day of your vacation. They promise a cruise for your family after you make your trip. But I never got a certificate, nor an answer to any queries about it. They say the vacation certificates are all inclusive. Then they charge you $130 for taxes and resort fees for 5-nights in Orlando and Daytona Beach. Then you are charged again for taxes and resort fees when you arrive at the motel. Then they change their story and say that was a booking fee, on top of the supposed all-inclusive $400 price you paid for the vacation. The motel's rate on hotels.com was about $70 per night. The run-down resort was just $85 per night. Tax and resort fees included. Here's a hint. You can walk around Orlando and find up to 7-night stays for under $100 in exchange for going to a timeshare sales presentation. Our first two stays were ok third was horrific. Once we returned I called to let them know how bad and disgusting the place was. Dirty diapers on table next to the pool. Kids in diapers in the pool. Cigarette butts all over the place. Stained sheets walls etc. They apologized but did nothing. They call weekly trying to get us to buy more or extend the trips we didn't use. This should be a negative rating, not a one star. This business is a SCAM. They lied to people saying once you purchased the package, you can travel to multiple destinations and only pay $129 booking fee. After I paid $1000, to buy the package, they tried to avoid helping me to get a reservation. Their travel coordinator always leave a message then when I called back, no body answer the phone, or say the travel coordinator is helping others. I tried to call back 7 times and leave messages, I still get the same answer the travel coordinator is helping others, She never helped me to book a travel. This goes on and on, until my package is about to expire. Anyone knows how can we stop such scam. They have been doing such business to steal people's money for many years. I got a call from this company about 6 months after my mother's passing telling me she had several pre paid trips \ cruise packages that had not used . totalling $7000 well mom had been sick for quite some time before her death and this would have been something she would have purchased , so I fell for it they told me all I had to do was pay the $397 transfer fee and I could still use them I believe they told me at the time I had 18 months , so in this time I received nothing but a few advertisement emails and I could never get any return calls or be able to access anything to even start to book anything . ok you guys got me I left it at that but you called me back a year later wanting me to pay another transfer fee , so what I am saying thanks for reminding me to Wright you a review and reminding me you took my money read more

Travel options conned us into a package a couple of years ago. We contacted them next day to cancel and they refused & were no help. Thankfully, our Royal Bank VISA protected us, and got us our money back. However, they won't stop badgering us. They call over and over for years now. This company is a scam. It company lies, pushes sales with scare tactics, and hangs up on customers. After attending a timeshare presentation in Vegas, my husband and I got a bunch of different gifts, including a callback vacation package to Vegas. We didn't use it, and a year later, we got a call from Travel Options. They said our vacation was expiring but for like $500 we could renew and upgrade it to include a short Hawaii vacation and some other stuff. Then they called again less than a year later saying it was about to expire (it was valid for 2 years) and we could upgrade it further to include a long Hawaii trip, a long weekend in Vegas, a trip to Mexico, and a cruise. I specifically asked if the Hawaii vacation could be used during the week of Thanksgiving, and was told that yes it could be as it has no blackout dates. I just tried to book it, and guess what? The entire month of November is blacked out. I called to ask for my money back and not only did the guy cite some company policy I'd never heard of to deny me a refund, but he also informed me that they only keep the information from the most recent upgrade in the system. That means, of the $800ish dollars we spent, they only have a record of $397 and would only concede to refund $100. I resorted to yelling that I wanted nothing more to do with the company except to get my money back- all of it- and the guy was like "I'm sorry but I have no choice but to hang up on you". Apparently the only person with authority to give a refund is the owner who never even comes to the office, and when I asked for his phone number the guy hung up. read more

I've received hundreds of phone calls from this company even though my phone number is on the national do not call list. I've also reported them to the better business bureau. I've told them countless times not to call me. Still, every now and then I get a call from a different number that I have not blocked, for example: 305-684-8965 561-257-4123 954-656-4091 888-209-5074 They use high pressure sales tactics to try and get you to sign up for a bogus vacation package. I purchased a vacation package in January 2013 and was told I had until January 2015 to use the package. I confirm that and wrote it two different places on the envelope. In September 2014 when I called to use the package I was transferred to a manager named Jesenia ext 311. She was worse than a broken record all she could tell me was my package expired in July and offered no help to research or offered any other resolutions. I'm still not sure whether the salesperson or the manager was lying to me but somebody didn't tell me it expires after 18 months. It takes a lot for me to loose my cool but she managed to push me over the edge. I did keep from Swearing but man I wanted to. I purchased from this company twice. The first time was a land/cruise package to the Bahamas. Included hotel accommodation 1 night prior to sailing. Sail for a couple of days and get off in Freeport, Bahama for a few nights and then back on the cruise. At the end of the cruise, also included a few nights in the Orlando FL area. This experience was a good value for the money, although, I thought the transfers took too long checking in and out with having the Freeport stay in the middle of the cruise. In Jun 2015, I purchased another package which included many different places for mini vacations. unfortunately, I was diagnosed with a disease and unable to travel for about a year. I was not aware each of these mini-vacations required a 90-120 minute presentation. I remember them telling me the requirement was to do 1 vacation presentation upon which you would then receive your 4 night cruise voucher. I immediately turned this in with 2 dates available for travel and paid $100 deposit on my port fees. The certificate was advertised as 4 night all inclusive cruise to your choices of ports and destinations. The only stipulation was the government port tax. When I called to book this package, of course they try to sell you the upgrades but when I declined they came up with 2 options traveling out of Port of New Orleans or Miami. Both were western Caribbean, at a cost of $1039 or with an upgrade to $1146. When questioning why the high port fees, I was told it was high season. When I called Travel Options they told me I would need to work this with the cruise line. What a SCAM! I can get discounted 4 night cruises to Western Carribbean without the "FREE" certificate. 90 min waste of time for the timeshare solicitation etc... This company promotes travel by promising Bonus Cruises and Stays at wonderful destinations. The Hook is that you have to "initiate" your contract by staying at and paying an additional fee for the stay at a second rate motel 60 days prior to getting your "gift" of the cruise. The gift of "The cruise options "are the very limited in quality, quantity alternative dates or departure points UNLESS you pay additional very costly upgrades. They then refuse to refund your money because you started the contract by staying at the not ver nice motel in a lousy location. This is a scam and multiple victims have complained. I'm a senior citizen and feel very taken advantage of. So far my lady and I have paid Travel Options more than $1300. And we have got nothing but a not to clean motel and a promise of a four night cruise. They had promised seven nights. (Travel Options then wants an additional $139 per person per night of the cruise because "nothing else is available.)When asking for your money back the refuse, and s very rude. read more

My Husband got a phone call from this company and he wants to connect with me before purchasing the vacation package, but they wanted to force him to buy it uprfront. I purchased the package. When I want it to book the vacation they want it to charge me AGAIN! I paid $497 originally. I attempted to book on a non holiday weekend and they want it to charge an extra $167 for something I already paid for. Stating this was a peak season, I asked the rep to book me on a non peak weekend, she stated she did not have a calendar that dictates the non peak weekend. I also purchased a package from this company. I had to call them after 5 days to received my email package/information on the trips. After a review of the program, I decided to cancel. I called and talked to a representative, who decreased the cost by $100.00 and attempted to get me to stay. After 15 minutes of sales pitches. I again requested a refund and was finally told one would be processed and it would take up to 10 day to refund my credit card. After 13 days, NO Refund. Worst experience ever with a company, and I've sworn off all vacation package companies because of them. We bought a package, stayed at a "resort" that had run-down rooms and poor service. The required sales pitch was very pushy, even when we explained our terrible experience and zero interest to buy something at that location. We didn't even bother using the rest of the package, because the hassle wasn't worth any money saved. The package expired over a year ago, and they still refuse to stop calling, trying to get me to extend it. I get calls every couple days to sometimes multiple times a day, and I've asked to be removed from their list every time (with a few representatives saying they did). I finally filed a BBB complaint, and they stopped calling for two weeks, just long enough for the complaint to be closed as "resolved". Two days later, they resumed calling. They always call from different numbers, because I now block each one they use, but the calls continue. Avoid this company! read more

We bought a package and flew from KY to Las Vegas only to find out that the reservations we made 3 months ago (that were confirmed by email and sent to us by mail) were not actually made. Thousands of miles from home with no where to stay. We had to pay more money to find somewhere to stay. When we called to find out what happened, they said it wasn't our fault. They changed the place we were staying the day before but conveniently didn't let us know. So it wasn't our fault but they wouldn't do anything to make it right. I just want to warn people to be diligent and get all the information they can upfront. We have purchased discount trips over the years and only disappointed once. For the most part they turn out pretty good but be aware that anything too good to be true, is likely going to cost you more down the line. We received a call today from Travel Options and we were offered a series of trips to include resort stays only in Orlanda, Daytona, Bahamas, Las Vegas, Mexico, Branson, and as a gift after taking the first trip we'd get a cruise (choice of several locations), and an 8day/7night condo stay to the location of our choice based on their list of choices. The total would be $2697 but because we have a $2000 credit from past stays (don't know where this came from) we would only have to pay $697. We looked up this site for reviews while talking on the phone with Travel Options. We had to decide now if we wanted the deal. We asked for a few minutes to put him on hold while we discuss the deal and he said he only asked one thing.. which was for us not to just hand up if we don't want the deal but to let him know and we'll part as friends. We said okay. We eventually said no, due to bad reviews. The price eventually got down to $397. We told ourselves the investment was small and maybe we get our moneys worth with a couple of the smaller trips, so we said yes. The problem is that during the confirmation call back from the finance office, in which we would make payment, additional fees were revealed such as $289 port fees per person, non-refundable fee of $125 for the gift of 8days/7nights in a condo, a $25 fee to receive a registration form (what???), all rooms would require us to pay any taxes charged, and we just stopped the lady at that point and said we changed our minds. The only fees we had been told about were 'refundable fees' and room taxes. Also, just so you readers know... anytime they offer a resort and not a hotel room it means you don't get room service, no free breakfast or such, there is always a cleaning fee, you get a limited amount of linen, and you pay an upgrade if you need more than a standard room. The original man we talked to called us back in 2 minutes to see why we declined the deal. When I told him about the fees he didn't mention and that I specifically asked him if we'd have to pay a fee when registering for the trips and he said no... but there is a $25 registration fee he said there must be a misunderstanding. I confirmed that we are going to decline at this time. He simply hung up in my face. I guess parting as friends didn't matter anymore. Listen to the reviews and make an informed decision. read more
