A few months ago when my air conditioner stopped working I did what any logical person would do and checked myself into a local hotel. I used up my Bonvoy points and decided to take a break from the Marriott brand and try something different. I went to Yelp and found this highly rated property and quickly called the hotel to see if they had any availability. The desk clerk offered me a great nightly rate as I qualified for the Florida Resident discount. I booked a king size room for four nights. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel offers free parking, free internet, a "better than most" continental breakfast and during the week they put out freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. Upon check-in I was warmly greeted and offered two bottles of water. Had a quick chat with the front desk guy who happened to be the same guy I spoke to on the phone. He was awesome, in fact every employee I encountered during my staycation was great. My room was immaculate. The mattress was perfect, the linens were nicely made, and I slept well all four nights. The bed was beyond comfortable. They don't have a business center but the front desk people were kind enough to print out some emails for me, make copies and they allowed me to borrow their stapler and a few other office supplies. Because they helped me I was able to actually get some work done. In the morning I drove across the street to DD to get iced coffee then headed back to the hotel to shower. Talking about showers, the water pressure was strong. Very happy with the bathroom and shower. The toiletries were Neutrogena and I liked them a lot. There are several restaurants near the hotel but having every meal out can get expensive. I went to Doris's Market which is just on the other side of Yamato Road and bought some prepared food to keep in the refrigerator in my room. I kept things affordable but still good. I was able to get paper plates and utensils from the breakfast area so I was all set. I went down to the pool in the early evenings to unwind. I had my tablet so I was able to do some reading which was nice. It was quiet and peaceful which made me so very happy. The property is pet friendly with a non-refundable pet deposit which was reasonable. Parking was easy and I found availability in front of the hotel all four nights. The vibe here is warm and inviting and that's because the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I enjoyed my stay so much that I was actually sad when it was time to check-out. I will be going back because it's the perfect staycation for me. Hampton Inn really surprised me and in a good way. I had a Hilton Honors account from years ago and I updated my information online. Two days after checking out I received a promotional email from Hilton. They were running a special that if you stayed a minimum of three nights you earned a certain amount of points. I called them and told the representative that I checked out two days ago after my four night stay. I wanted to see if I qualified for the bonus points and they said "not technically" but they gave me the points anyway. Very impressed with the level of customer service I received; both in the hotel and with their customer service department. I can't wait to come back for another staycation. read more

I travel to South Florida weekly for medical recovery and chose this Hilton property expecting a baseline standard of safety and care. What I experienced on April 15th was the opposite. I asked the front desk about gym access and was told there was no on-site gym, despite the listing suggesting otherwise, and was directed across the street to a corporate office parking lot where, I was told, hotel guests routinely exercise. Acting on that guidance, I did exactly that. Within 30 minutes, a man approached me, a Black woman, alone, at 7:30am, and began recording me on his phone before saying a single word to me. He confronted me, demanded I leave, and when I didn't escalate, he sprinted across the street into this hotel's lobby to report me, loudly and repeatedly referring to me as "the black woman." On his way out, as I was coming in, he called me a fucking bitch. Your staff directed me into that situation. Your General Manager, Enrique, was contacted multiple times by my husband and responded with "we told the guy to leave" and, when asked to personally address the situation with the neighboring property, said "sir, you're asking us to do a lot." He never called my room. He never sent anyone to speak with me. He offered no apology and no accountability of any kind. The only person at this property who behaved with any decency was the front desk agent, Katrina, who apologized sincerely and acknowledged what had happened. I am a recovering surgical patient. I came here for rest. I spent that morning sobbing, shaken, and on the phone with my therapist. That is what "go across the street" cost me. If you have no on-site gym, remove it from your amenities. If you have a Lifetime Fitness partnership, direct guests there and only there. Do not send guests, especially women, alone, early in the morning, into spaces you cannot vet, and then tell their husbands you've been asked to do too much when it goes wrong. I have filed a formal complaint with hotel ownership and am escalating to Hilton corporate. I am also preserving my right to file with the Florida Commission on Human Relations. I'm sharing this publicly because the next woman who asks about the gym deserves to know. read more

Hotel was really old and outdated. Beds were squeaky and left my neck and shoulder hurting so bad I had to sleep on the couch for the remainder of our stay. When I called prior they said guests get one water bottle each but they did not offer me such, and when my partner went to go ask for one they said we had to be a Hilton Honors customer which I was, but they ended up charging the waters to our room anyways. They really need to modernize the interior it was really old and grimy feeling. The hot breakfast was better than no breakfast or cold breakfast but it wasn't the best quality. The free coffee in the morning was nice. The walkway to walk your dog isn't really a path they just tell you to go to the parking lot. Overall it was okay, the AC worked. The cleaning is only on demand they don't come automatically. read more

My husband was in town for a work trip, so we stayed at this hotel because it was in the Hilton family and was a convenient location on Yamato Road. The room was ready early, so that was a plus. However, the room was small with not a lot of storage space and no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast daily, but the offerings were scarce. For only one night, this worked just fine. My room was clean, the breakfast was tasty, and the property has a pool. It also is right off the main drag, so that is also a plus, except that finding the property was a bit tricky. The free parking is a nice touch as well. As for the not so good, well, for me it was minor, but it is something to consider nevertheless. The front desk was a bit curt, especially when I had just told them the night before my check-in that I would be an early check-in. The alarm clock in my room was broken, but I had brought my own as a backup in case of that issue, and lastly, the shower drain was broken. I was standing in dirty water for both of my showers, despite the high quality water pressure. Not cool. One last thing, the property did seem a bit dated, especially by the finicky elevator buttons, and the musty smells in the bathroom. Stayed overnight just a quick trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was clean. The pool area was an above average pool and area for Hampton. Really nice. A few high top chairs in the breakfast area had torn vinyl. All in all a very well maintained Hampton Inn. The breakfast was in keeping with the normal free breakfast with a wonderful hostess-so friendly and helpful. It appeared an older resort but recently updated carpet and very well maintained. My only thing was our room was a bit small for this chain. And no real closet. It was an inset in the wall-very small-covered with a curtain. There were two one completely taken by an ironing board and iron. I wish this was explained before our stay. Apparently not all rooms are the same re closets-some have them. Also the dresser had 1/3 frig, 1/3 microwave and 1/3 metal bins. No drawers. read more

1/7/25 Arrived earlier than check in after quite a drive from Tampa. Rachel was terrific. She followed up with housekeeping as info regarding a room that was done was not yet showing in the computer data base. She handed us 2 our 2 bottles of water in a bag (so much easier to carry). It would have been so easy for her to say it wasn't yet 4pm. Many times elsewhere we have to ask for the water. Thank you Rachel for really showing genuine hospitality vibe! When traveling we've come to expect hiccups but such little things mean A LOT! The room was what we expected: a bit tired but the heat/AC worked, towels were plentiful for our overnight stay, and it was quiet. Three minor issues I had was being short I could barely reach to where the lotion was attached to the wall above the bathroom counter next to the mirror. The other was that every time I reached for TP, the holder fell off the wall. Hubs however did not seem to have that problem. The 3rd is that the coffee in the lobby when we would come back was never hot and on the evening of 1/7 it was actually empty and no one was at the desk. I did try the room pot but we didn't see an outlet near the pull out for the coffee maker and related items for it. We did move the pot over near the bed area, but that seemed strange and the coffee it produced was marginal quality. All these are minor inconveniences for the price we paid, as well as the convenience of the location to where a meeting we were attending was taking place the next day. read more

I'm staying here for the week on business and am very happy. Here's why... Freshly renovated so the rooms are fresh and squeaky clean. Clean, new bathroom s excite me :) The rest of the room is nice too, small but has everything I need including USB ports on both sides of the bed, microwave and coffee maker. They have an adequate free breakfast, and excellent coffee set up. They also have a free nightly happy hour with beer and minimal snacks. Uber drivers can't always find it, as it's tucked away in the back of some other buildings. So far 5 trips and 3 couldn't find it, 2 did. I would definitely come back. read more

This newer Hampton reflects the cheapening of the hotel experience in every place you look. Start with the basic design: a 4-story hotel with ONE ELEVATOR, which serves both the guests and the staff. Prepare for long elevator waiting times. The room I had does not have a conventional closet - just a curtained-off area with a pole to hang clothes. There is no provision for placing your suitcases, so you end up using the only chairs provided for your suitcase, leaving no place to sit down. And, of course, the breakfast is vintage Hampton, with "mystery meat" pork sausage, no fresh fruit, and tasteless omelets. Coffee is okay. In short, it is okay for transient overnight stays, but do not mistake it for a comfortable leisure stay in a beach area. read more

It's very consistent, so you generally know what you get. ***Check-in- room wasn't ready until 5pm. ***Location-near many restaurants. ***Room- ours was large and overlooked the golf course. Comfortable with ample seating. ***Bed-sleeps well. Very comfortable. ***Staff-welcoming ***Parking-ample free parking, but the hotel was sold out, so the lot was nearly full. I'll be glad when hotels stop using COVID as an excuse to not clean rooms and provide services. Vaccines have been widely available for anyone for a long time. Masks and gloves are also a thing. It's time to get back to providing your services. You're a hotel, not a dorm. read more

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would do it without blinking twice. Honestly this might have been the single worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel. I was sent an e-mail that I was able to check in early through the app. I was able to pick my room, and chose a room on the first floor right by the pool. When I checked in, there were multiple rooms on the first floor available. We got to the hotel the next day and let the guy at the front desk know that we checked in early and showed him my app. He said the room was about to be cleaned and would be ready in 30 minutes. So my wife and I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting for the room to be ready. I get called to the front desk and am told that room is now ready, on the 3rd floor. I explained I checked in early and the room was on the first floor, but was told they didnt know what to tell me and the only room available was on the third floor. Ok, whatever. We got into the room and were immediately grossed out by the brown streaks running down the walls. Not only that, but we were greeted with a bathroom trash can full of trash. I am so glad we waited those 30 minutes for them to clean the room. In my entire life of staying in hotels, this was the first one ever that did not have drawers to put clothes in. My wife and I lived out of a suitcase for a long weekend. Sunday night came and I got informed of a family emergency that made us cut our trip short. First thing Monday morning we went to the front desk asking if there was anything they could do. The guy at the front desk couldnt be more dismissive and just kept telling us no. We asked if we could speak to a manager or anyone, and was told not. Just a complete lack of human empathy. We were going through a family emergency and this guy couldnt be less helpful. It truly doesnt pay to be a Hilton Honors Member. If that is how they treat their members, I cannot even fathom how they treat regular members. This location, my friends, was beyond my expectations. * Easy parking: plenty of parking in front or on the side...with a very short walk. * Check-in: easy, competent, friendly. On-duty manager Linda led the way. * Room: quiet, very clean, great bed and comfy pillows, modern. * Breakfast: a small buffet with cheese omelets, sausage, bacon, potatoes, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, waffles, yogurt, bagels, toast, sweet breads. It's not deluxe, but it's more than fine for FREE. * Check-out: easier. The price is fair, I would totally stay here again. The Marriott, which is right next to the very cool Town Center, would be my first choice...but this is a close #2. read more

Advertise indoor pool - NONE. Gift shop - lol alittle corner at entranceway with snacks & water.No room service unless requested 24hrs ahead then told next day workers leave at a certain time so no one to refresh your room! Asked for new towels they were taken out of a garbage bag that contained clean and used I said nevermind I'll keep the ones I have! Grossed me out..did my original towels come out of one of those mixed bags? I bring my own coffee pot or water heaterfrom bad past experiences. The breakfast was good. A worker was constantly replenishing ceaning tables . But in 2 days never saw anyone clean the outdoor tables ad chairs as the same dried spill stains were on the outdoor glass top tables from Fri check-in to Sun checkout in 80+ degree temps . People were outside.few lil stores(coffee shop) and gas station close by most close early walking distance to Millers Ale House but beware use crosswalk 8 lanes of traffic (4 each direction) We booked months ago a couple approached us after check in askinng if we paid as pmuch asthem for this dump. .....we had not seeroom yet. I am definitely a Hilton fan and this Hampton Inn fit the bill! It's right near FAU, which is where we were. They had a great breakfast both mornings but the first morning they had these sliced bagels with eggs, sausage and melted cheese!! Wow we're they good! Hotel was very clean, staff was really nice. We checked out on Sunday morning and was back at FAU, my phone rings and it's the hotel. My son left his Crocs in the room. So, we stopped back over before heading back home. Greeting customer service was top notch. Room was clean and comfortable and service here could not have been better! The rating only lacks a star because we had hoped for and understood there was a hot tub on the premises but it doesnt appear that was the case. The pool was still a bit too cool to be in so a heated pool or tub certainly would have been ideal. First impressions are lasting impressions they say, and Hampton by Hilton at Boca Raton gave me a pretty good first impression. The hotel is a little hidden due to it being back behind another establishment. Check in was a breeze. No deposits-winning. The front desk girl was very nice and she even gave us a courtesy call in the room. Snacks in the lobby such as cookies and milk, and oranges and apples. They had several kids who really seemed to enjoy this perk. We received two free chilled bottles of water for being a member. Room 315 right off the elevator. Our room was nice and clean and smelled good. Neutrogena toiletries in bathroom. The bed and pillows were really comfy. 4 stars instead of 5 because of breakfast. I was disappointed they didn't have really any healthy options out such as whole wheat bread or bagels. They didn't have any sausage, bacon or scrambled eggs either which was really surprising. I asked the attendant who stated they didn't have any stuff like that ordered. Overall the breakfast was a miss for us. Didn't use the pool being as we were headed to all of the local beaches. Coffee set up was nice with good creamers set out. Check out was a breeze. read more

Many people walking around the halls and in elevators with no masks. They a good amount of choices available for breakfast, but again, be careful because masks are not enforced. Front desk staff was friendly during each interaction and was able to give us a late checkout since we were waiting to hear back from our company whether we'd be staying another night or not. Air conditioning could get your room cold, but I was constantly fighting between being hot and sweaty, then the air would kick in and get really cold, then freeze from the sweat all over my body. The humidity of Florida is real. The fitted shot was the absolute WORST part of the entire 2 nights I stayed. Every small movement would cause the corner to come off and I would be exposed to the bare mattress which, during covid is pretty gross. For one night, I'd deal with it, but anything more than that was concerning. No matter what I did, the fitted sheet would NOT stay on either corner. read more

Stayed here for a brief business visit. Check in fast and friendly, snacks, fruit and coffee available all day in lobby, regular coffee is great nutty, bold and tasty. Room super clean and everything worked , air con was strong and not to loud. Used the pool area which was clean and surrounded by fauna and flowers really cool. Pool towels available at reception. Does not have a gym but gives free pass to lifetime next door even though they accepted my Vernon Hills membership card although sone people say it is a diamond club and they will not. Anyways you can get a free pass at reception and the Boca lifetime is a terrific gym try it you will not be dissapointed. Breakfast is very nice and fresh and the ladies who work there are super attentive and smiling. Check out a breeze. All in all a pleasant nice stay. Of course if you forget toothbrush shaving kit etc it is all availble for free at reception. read more

Cleanliness I give 100. Although we stayed 4 nites they said due to Covid they don't clean rooms so 4 days of trash was not very pleasant. We were told to put it outside the door but no one ever picked it up until 2 days later. Some receptionist (the male ones) were unfriendly and not helpful. The internet was good but the computer on the lobby sucked and the front desk didn't care of it worked or not. Couldn't get any help! No coffee or complementary water in the daytime or evenings. Your on your own. Complementary breakfast was gone before the end time given. Sucks if you wake up late after checking in after midnight. Ice machine only on the 1st floor You have other options, don't let the pretty pictures fool you, it's all about service. I'll stay in West Palm Beach next time. read more

Our room was clean with no bed bugs, and the housekeeping staff does a very thorough job of cleaning the rooms. My family stayed here for about a week, and our stay surpassed our expectations. The front desk personnel are super friendly and checking in was quick and easy. The location of the hotel is convenient to all the Boca restaurants and shopping. I usually stay at the Marriott but wanted to save money since I planned on staying longer this visit. The hotel is in repair and the pool is not accessible. However, the gym behind the hotel is excellent and is available to all hotel guests on without paying any fees. Well worth the $225/night for this place. The breakfast is fair. I wasn't impressed but overall facility is better than any other Hampton Inn I have ever seen. I would come back again because the gym next door has anything you need as far as salon, spa and huge super clean workout area! read more

I cannot speak for the quality of the hotel, but the customer service is severely lacking. My wife and had booked a room at the Hampton Inn Boca Raton with my Hilton Honors points but were unable to arrive in time because our flight from Atlanta had been canceled and rescheduled for the following morning. I contacted the hotel to tell them that I needed to cancel the reservation, which they did, but when I asked if they could refund me the Hilton Honors points, they told me that they could not do that at the hotel and I would have to contact the corporate offices. This is not true because I have had several hotels refund my points due to similar circumstances. After placing multiple calls to both the Hampton Inn Boca Raton and the corporate offices, I was finally able to have my Hilton Honors points refunded. If I return to the Boca Raton area, I will definitely not be staying at this hotel. read more

Over Thanksgiving weekend, my husband and our two kids had to fly to Florida last minute for a family funeral, so basically we took this room because it was available. :) We were here 11/25 to 11/28, Friday through Monday. That said, it was a perfectly good experience. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I liked that there was a lot of drawer and hanging space; with four people, we needed it! Breakfast is fine: good coffee, some type of hot entree (small cheese omelets, sausage links or patties) , waffles made with a waffle maker (my kids loved that), cereal, breads, yogurt, fresh fruit. A word about the construction, which the website mentions: It wasn't bad at all during our stay. The only sign of it we saw was some work happening on one of the bathrooms off the lobby. The pool was even open on Saturday and Sunday (though on Monday, the day of our departure, it was closed). So if that's a concern for you, call ahead and see what the current state of the work is. They almost make it sound like you'll be staying in a construction zone, but for us that wasn't the case at all. read more

Though we arrived during an incredible busy golf event taking place in the area, the front desk staff were very nice and attentive. The room was ready for us, and was clean. I love Hampton Inns, they are always consistent in quality. The price was a little higher than I like to spend (it was about $230 a night) but at least it was a pleasant experience. read more
