Need to rave about Boca Express Travel. We've used them for 2 trips to Italy a few years back and everything went perfectly, best vacations we've ever had! Lots of coordination needed with 3rd parties and prepping us with everything we needed to know, especially the local 'details' you cannot research. Their contacts and knowledge are fantastic, Denise just rocks! But where they have really shined is when things don't work out as expected. A trip to Spain was interrupted by COVID, they handled everything: cancellations, travel insurance and ensured that we were completely refunded. But the best was just last week, when a Caribbean cruise was interrupted by injury. They dealt with the cruise line and, most importantly, found us a place to spend the night as we were sitting in the hospital lobby. Saved the Day is an understatement!!! read more

Boca Express Travel fails to properly communicate with their clients, or their third-party contracted vendors. At a time when their clients need their refund, they instead are placing profits well above the interest of their clients. Due to their relationship with Central Holidays (one of several vendors they use), they make it virtually impossible for you to communicate or discuss any details of your vacation planning, payments or refunds. Both companies are refusing to provide a full refund for a trip to Italy that was scheduled for March 19, 2020. Most recently, I was offered a partial refund, a travel voucher and an airline credit with Alitalia less $1,400 in "per person change fees". On March 3rd, it was confirmed by the owner of Boca Express Travel that I would be entitled to an airline voucher or refund for the air portion of my trip. On March 11th, it was confirmed with Boca Express Travel that my flight was still operating, "We just checked with AlItalia and the flights for your dates are still operating. There has been no change with the air portion of your trip cancellation". On March 12th, one week before my scheduled trip, I confirmed that I had an 055 ticket. "Hi Yes you have a 055 ticket (one issued by AlItalia). Since the airline cancelled the trip; according to their own website, I would be entitled to a refund of the price of my tickets, but instead Boca Express along with their vendor are looking to impose additional fees and an airline voucher. Below is a portion of the Alitalia policy: Passengers who have had their flight canceled All passengers in possession of an Alitalia (055) ticket whose flight has been canceled can request the following by 31 August: * A refund of the price of the ticket or of the remaining value of the part of the trip which has not yet been completed While they claim that I cancelled my vacation; on February 28, 2020, the CDC issued a Level 3 Warning, Avoid Nonessential Travel - Widespread Community Transmission. My letter dated February 28th specifically outlined the CDC alert and recommendation and as such, it was necessary for my family and I to abide by this directive. My letter made it quite clear that I was expecting a full refund without penalty and this was also outlined in my letters dated February 24th and the 26th. Currently Boca Express Travel is urging me to accept a partial refund and they claim that they will continue to fight for the balance, but it must be clear that if any amount is accepted, I will waive my rights to collecting the balance. This deceptive behavior along with the fact that they are purposely withholding my refund along with their contracted vendor demonstrates the type of business that the public must be made aware of. Selecting a travel agent that you can trust can be a daunting task, but it is important to recognize those that stand with their clients and by their third-party vendors. Boca Express Travel should do the right thing and issue a full refund and then pursue their vendor for any outstanding balance that they feel they are entitled to. While Boca Express Travel continues to state that I cancelled my vacation, it must be clear that my request was made with an expectation of a FULL refund due to the Level 3 CDC Warning. This was clear in my correspondence and yet they apparently went forward with a cancellation, disregarding my request for a full refund? Furthermore, by her explanation alone, this travel agency is suggesting that we should have proceeded with our vacation to Italy with total disregard to the CDC directive to avoid non essential travel? Not to mention, the Italian Prime minister locked down Italy which would have either trapped us there, or caused my family to be arrested. This defies logic and to continue to request more time is unfounded. These facts alone demonstrate the intent of Boca Express and their vendors to continue to profit from the misfortune of their clients. I will not stand for this and will continue to fight for what is right, a full uncontested refund. read more

My husband and I found this place online because We need it help planning our vacation to Italy for our anniversary and my birthday. We had no clue what we were doing . Anyways we found Ronit Naccache. We sat with her and she really out did herself everything she planned for us what's exactly what we experienced from the pick up at the airport till we had to leave . One of my favorite tours was the golf cart tour in Rome it was more than we expected. All the tours that she planned for us and the transportations were amazing. I'm so happy with this company that I'm coming back to plan Paris for my daughter and her boyfriend and our Hawaii vacation for next year . My family used Boca Express Travel to book a cruise over the holidays on Royal Caribbean. The cruise was enjoyable but the experience of working with Boca Express Travel was less than par. Our agent, Paul Corin, was all but unreachable -- several phone calls from various parties went unanswered -- and almost every request went unfulfilled despite promises that "he is working on it..." The stock response was "everything will work out once you get on the ship". This lofty "easy answer" claim was not exactly true as there were issues with pre-trip information, dining reservations as well as an excursion booked through the agency with a third party. My feeling is that once the agent collected booking fees, his responsibilities ceased to exist. It wasn't until after several phones calls that we spoke with a "supervisor" and were given cursory information that made travel and/or the cruise easier. With this utter lack of customer service, there is really no need to use a travel agent as you can easily book a cruise online AND take advantage of the ever changing promotions. It is sad when a business thinks that the words "customer service" are an oxymoron but that was our experience with Boca Express Travel. read more
