My wife and I traveled to Italy for the first time and our first meal was dinner at I Leoni D'Abuzzo. In addition to Rome, we also visited nine other cities and villages. We liked this place so much that when we returned to Rome, we ate the final meal of our two week vacation at this same place. I think it is important to say that there are DOZENS of restaurants within walking distance of our hotel, and we chose to return to this one.

Their menu lists items in four languages, but trust me, their food is high quality, authentic Italian cooking. We have tried eggplant Parmesan, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, pasta with rocket and zucchini, and veal Milanese. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. In fact, we think the best value on the menu is a 1/2 carafe (375 ml) of house wine (bianco or rosso) for €5.
