We arrived early at 7:05pm and without a reservation. They were initially not going to seat us but we promised we wouldn't take too long. We're Americans, we eat fast. And so we were about an hour and a half so they were still able to honor their later reservation.
Menus in Italian, English, Spanish and Russian. Easy to understand and prices were reasonable.
We both had their house red wine and it was great. The basket of bread (yep, coperto) was very good but for our appetizer, the roast octopus with potatoes. A small serving and perfect to get things rolling. For main, I chose the spaghetti alla amtriciana, which was perfect. A good portion that was loaded with bacon and a spicy tomato sauce. Yum! My friend chose the lasagna and loved it.
It's a lovely restaurant and the service was perfect. Our waiter spoke enough English that we were all good. I would definitely eat here again!
