Small intimate restaurant, we loved it. We enjoyed every dish. Wine is local and excellent. Staff are knowledgeable and hospitable. Prices are very reasonable. Cannolis the highlight of the dinner.

Even through the restaurant was fully booked, the staff accommodated us in the "garden" table. The food , service, atmosphere was excellent. Excellent first night in Palermo.

Absolutely fantastic little spot by a beautiful landmark, service was beyond quick and friendly, I had the wild boar pasta (that I wish I could take some with me to Canada) and focaccia with mozzarella and tomatoes wood fired of course.

This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide. We couldn't get a table the first visit without a reservation, but decided to try again a few days later and I am glad we did! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Salvatore took very good care of us even though we got there only 30 minutes before closing for the afternoon. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Oh yes, oh yeees! Wild boar sauce on pasta. This makes everything and anything else pale by comparison. I plowed that dish! Momma K said it was the the best Eggplant Tappanata EVER! BigK (yes there is another) has pasta with anchovies and proclaimed absolute wonderfulness! This little bistro in Palermo was a great stop that should be open 24-7! I am not one to gush, (well ok, maybe a bit) but this was perfection. Tucked back into the recesses of a side street near the cathedral, sits this little gem of gastro-mania. Wonderful wine (Oro Marsala Superiore) was the absolute icing on the freakin' cake! No reservations so get there kinda early but be prepared!

I had the loveliest dinner in years here! The staff was amazing, informative and hospitable. Not to mention, the restaurant itself is charming and cute. I had the burrata salad to begin with, which was the best salad I have ever had because it tasted so fresh! Then, I moved on to the stuffed raviloi and finished with the steak. I highly recommend all! Even though I was solo, it never felt like it. The staff was always attentive and hospital, as if I was dining among friends! Thank you Salvatore, for a great dinner and I will be back to Palermo, just to dine here again soon!

Very nice place and staff, a lot or seafood restaurant and good wine. I recommend The price is reasonable and the restaurant is placed right next to Palermo cathedral, it's discreet and calm. There is a fan and good music.

We had a nice meal here. We had the tomato and avocado salad, which was nice! The pasta norma and beef skewers were good. The actual pasta noodles were fantastic. I recommend getting a carafe of the house wine, which is from Avola, and a 1/2 liter is only five euros.

Stefano not only continued sharing his knowledge of Sicilian wines but recommended Enoteca Picone to further our experience which was perfect advice. Lunch for me was fried octopus, which was 4 legs, each 6" (150 mm.) long and crispy on the outside and tender but slightly chewy on the inside like great fried chicken. I had seen a plate the night before and actually dreamed of them. They did not disappoint. She chose another iteration of cozze from the specials menu. These mussels were steamed in beer with fresh ginger and were comparably good to the sautéed but slightly more subtle. It turns out that dishes on the specials menu can work their way onto the standard menu if the patrons insist and the chef came out to ask for a comparison. We repeated the contorni plate of chef's choice vegetables that repeated the potato slices but added grill zucchini and oven dried onion that was sweet with all of the bitter components gone and the consistency of a very thin potato chip. We tried to rein in for dinner with pasta only. I had the Sicilian classic Pasta a la Norma with strong fresh tomato, soft eggplant, and sweet onion. It demanded scarpetta even with a white linen table cloth. She had pasta with prawns that was subtle and delicate with a lighter tomato sauce with herbs. We repeated the wines from the night before. We left feeling sad to think we probably wouldn't be back on this trip but smiling from the stomach up.

I decided to have a bucket of clams, awesome! Then in addition, the prosciutto with melon, also the carbonara which had thicker noodles. I dont know that I necessarily care for that, but it was yummy, and so flavorful. I loved it. The service was very direct slightly pretentious in a feel good way. So fun and such a good way to end your night in Italy.

The pastas are all homemade and they have many vegan options. And not just like, "Yeah, we have eggplant and tasteless salad and we can remove the tuna and cheese and suck ass so you can eat."... it's more like, "You thought you like pasta, try this shit, it's fucking awesome!" I'm not kidding. You choose the style of pasta (I had gnocchi ((potato/gf)) and the wife had bucatini). Two vegan options, and holy god dammit all... mind blowing. I cried when it was over. Okay... I have to balance this out with some bad. The yang to the yin. Goddam plastic water bottles and plastic water cups!! Why?! Stop it Sicily... you're out of control with the pollution... like WAY out of control. Be better than the rest! That's all, I should take off a star for that, but I believe once they read this... they'll change. Giuliana was our waitress and I don't know the chef's name yet, but we're going back tomorrow so I'll find out. I actually clapped for him. That's how awesome this shit is. I loved the pesto trapanese. We liked it so much that we went back on our last night and got some to-go. Our waitress was very nice and despite the crowd the food didn't take long.
