I really enjoyed Trash and Vaudeville. It was really boss! Again, I came with friends because I would have never come on my own. The clothes in this store remind me of something I would find on the Dollskill and Nasty Gal sites or at Hot Topic or Torrid. My friends and I had such a great time trying on the clothes. My friend bought a skull white corset and a blue chained skirt. It was very out of my price range but she looked beautiful in it. Another friend tried on 2 white corsets and the other friend, a male one, tried on a lace corset and a lace elaborate coat. The outfit was an entire mood. I tried on 2 very cute and very short pink skirts, a lace pink tank top, and a black and pink teddy/short dress. As I said before, way out of my price range and out of my confidence level, so I left with nothing. The two women who run the shop were so nice and knowledgeable. Especially the young lady with short red Mohawk. Anytime we had a question, inquiry, or were even thinking of one of the two, she was on it. It was truly a wonderful time.

I've been wanting to go here since I was 14 and searched on Yahoo "where do punk people shop." For real. So I finally had some time to kill in NYC, and I decided to make my long-awaited visit. The pieces here are gorgeous on so many different levels. A lot of their clothing and accessories are of course going to be over the top, but I found a ton of them to actually be surprisingly wearable. I found a white leather biker jacket that I fell in love with immediately... it was $800, but it was destined to be mine. When I move to the city, I will be back. A lot of times. The sales associates were also super down to earth and not pretentious at all like I expected them to be.

The best shop in New York City for the dark souls and vampires. The shop is located at 96 East 7th Street between Avenue A and First Avenue and it has been around since 1975. Wow, that's a long time ! It was in a different location and recently moved to this current location in the East Village in 2015. I also found out this store is where Blondie and the Ramones used to buy their cloths and the store was the first to stock on Doc Marten boots. I purchased a lot of things from this store because they have what I was looking for but also I wanted to support stores like this one that sells unique and interesting items. Sadly other shops similar to this all closed down through the years in different parts of the country. Trash and Vaudeville have a wide selection of jackets, dresses, coats, T-shirts, shoes, boots, belts, pins, patches,. You name it, they got it! The people working there were nice too. I'll definitely be back

I went there today to buy a pair of flared jeans after procrastinating for a week then met the amazing staff who had these cool ass tattoos and I loved the whole energy they gave off. I 100% recommended going here I'll be back for sure.

Classic rock 'n' roll T-shirts.

This is a classic, rock 'n' roll, punk rock, New York music staple. It's worth just going in and soaking up the vibe. Everyone who is rocked in New York, went through there. I had been hearing about it through Lee Rocker, bassist of the Stray Cats. I knew I had to check it out. My daughter and I went in there and met Diana. She had been with the store a while. So nice and friendly. Very welcoming. Thanks for letting us visit! Can't lose if you're looking for classic punk/rock 'n' roll/New York, all school, clothing, shoes, accessories!

Fun store, I liked a lot of the shoes and some other items. Cool place and friendly staff that is really helpful (shoe section downstairs. Price range are a bit on the pricier side but it's still alright. Most shoes (3/4) don't have my side at all, usually only 6 or much much larger size so it was a bit disappointing. Some are all last items so there's that as well. A couple different products from shoes, pants, clothes, stockings, etc.

Is it expensive, and what do the prices start off with?

Yeah it's kind of pricey, but like dolly parton once said, "it costs a lot to look this cheap"

For a changing selection of serious punk clothes Trash and Vaudeville is the best- mainly because of Jimmy.

I must admit Nordstrom organizes their jewelry well. All the boxes were neatly displayed on their shelves. Just the bad thing is the top shelf is very high and you need assistance or a ladder to look at them so that sucks. This is one of the most organized stores ever with all the accessories lined up and stored in an orderly fashion. There are rarely any loose accessories or misplaced product in the store. Made the shopping vibe feel a lot better. It is also very clean and carpet is nice to walk on without any dirt or loose garbage. By the checkout, there are aisles of mini and travel size lotions and facial cleansers from Kiehl's and Clinique that are almost winding down so they are that popular! I thought the cashiers were kind of slow because there were 3 of them working on the customers when there were so many cashier registers available for employees to go to. I wish they open more registers so the long line can go faster.

The owner Shin Yee Man knows how to choose clothes that are accessible enough for everyone, but have a one-of-a-kind, handmade quality that makes them more personal.
