in December of last year I was sure we had squirrels in our attic and had been complaining to my husband for quite some time about hearing noises on the roof. Eventually he agreed to call around and get a few prices from people, and we had a couple companies come out to bid. We were told more than once that there were not squirrels, but rats in our attic and my husband had already cut a check to a major "household brand" company for over $2,300 when a neighbor of ours gave us a number and said to ask for mark. .
What an overwhelmingly positive experience. Mr. Guthrie promptly returned our call Sunday afternoon and he was here first thing in the morning on Tuesday. He was here less than fifteen minutes before pointing out that there was no current issue, being as there was only a skeleton and a few droppings in the attic. We even got answers to a few nagging questions about where the noises were likely coming from! (It was squirrels, they just were not inside. our neighbor and us had several trees growing against our house and the dividing wall between our properties, and the squirrels were running around using it as a transit system between the properties to get at our mangoes and avocados while avoiding our dogs.) Still he went ahead and walked the roof, looked around the walls and even caulked a vent cap(?) for us free of charge, after being here nearly an hour. -- which was almost twice as long as the company who asked us for thousands of dollars in the first half hour. He was even kind enough to set and properly bait a couple traps near the attic entrance and told us that he would remove them any time if we noticed any disturbance.
There was no cause for that, but he did come out once again recently and remove a bee hive that was growing near the lake behind our fence. This thing was huge! His prices are very reasonable and he was even kind enough to move them to a new home (somewhere far away from our house.) I can't say enough, this is a wonderful company. read more
