It is so bad that I now drive to Austin for my Volvo service needs which is really inconvenient. They really should train the ladies who answer the phones. They have an I don't care attitude and your needs are really of no concern to them. And good luck ever getting a phone call back when you leave a message. It's a shame because I live my Volvo and would probably want to but another one when it's time to trade this one in - but the service department is so bad that I probably will not purchase a Volvo again just because driving to Austin for service is not very convenient. Maybe they should go to Austin Volvo to see how a service department should run.

Part of the service was a tire rebalance, rotation and a 4-wheel alignment. Upon leaving the service department's parking lot my car was pulling severely hard to the left and was immediately undriveable!! By the time I had turned around and returned to Garlyn Shelton Volkswagen/ Volvo of Temple they had already closed as I had picked up the car at the end of the day. I had to drive the car with 4-way flashers on to another shop for repair. The other shop identified and repaired the issue. Garlyn Shelton Volkswagen/ Volvo of Temple simply never test drove the car after performing service and ultimately gave me a car that was unsafe to even drive out of their parking lot. I will never return.

The carfax said it had no structural damage and no accidents. Just a few weeks after I purchased it they had me come in to put the liscense plate bracket and plate on the front of the car. That following Sunday I noticed the driver side on the front seam of the bumper had popped out . I took it back to them and asked about it, they made an appointment for a couple days later to check it out I brought it in and the service man said my warrenty I had purchased would not cover that because someone had hit the car. I seen no evidence of that but as a woman I take the word of the professionals so when he told me to call my insurance I did. My insurance is a very good company when I called they let me choose a body shop in their business loop and I took my car to them to look at. To shorten this a bit they came out and talked to me and told me that car had been in an accident before I bought it and had had an after market bumper on it, which was the problem, He said these issues are sometimes common because it is not the Cadillac bumper part and basically is kinda like a generic part and sometimes has issues. He suggested I call the Dealership that sold me the car, which I did, The man at the dealership basically told me that he had no way of knowing the car was in accident because people lie on those reports and even suggested I try to get my insurance to pay for it , to which I replied that it was not their responsibility since I paid for a Certified vehicle I did expect Quality. He then basically told me I was just stuck with the expensive repair that would have to be done to actually fix the car and they could not help it. I am truly disappointed with this Dealership and feel they did not value me as a customer and it seems useless to pay more for a certified vehicle if the certification is a useless piece of paper. I certainly would not recommend this Dealership to anyone

Don Ringler service has always taken care of us, and Cedar Park is a bit of a drive for car care. Set up the appointment online, checked in with no delays at the set time, and received a call very quickly, that the service was done. As always, McKenzie and all the others were friendly, courteous, and efficient. Communications are excellent as always, with phone calls and text messages keeping you informed.

    Went into this dealership looking for a specific vehicle we had already seen a few days earlier…read more Unfortunately it sold before we came back, which was completely understandable and not an issue. What became the issue was everything that happened afterward. The dealership assured us it would be "super easy" to locate the exact vehicle we wanted and had us move forward with a credit application based on numbers they quoted us at around a $900/month payment. We trusted what we were being told and allowed them to run our credit. For the next two weeks, we were repeatedly told they were searching for the vehicle and gave the impression everything was progressing normally. Then suddenly we were told the vehicle would actually need to be custom ordered from Toyota because it supposedly wasn't easy to get after all. On top of that, the original payment numbers they wrote up were somehow "completely wrong," and the actual payment would now be around $1,400/month -- a massive difference that should never happen if the numbers were calculated honestly and professionally from the start. So after weeks of wasted time, multiple misleading statements, and an unnecessary hit to our credit, we ended up with no vehicle and zero accountability from the dealership. Extremely disappointing experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
