They leverage, tools and technology to deliver high quality and timely service. They take pictures and videos of everything and include those in a report that is easy to read and understand and are always available for a phone call. For those intimidated by mechanics, this place is for you, they won't make you feel rushed and there are no stupid questions. More importantly, they are honest, and I have experienced this first hand with a warranty issue with previously replaced (by them) shocks. When I mentioned that the shocks were just replaced on my last visit after they had reported to me that they were leaking, they immediately took ownership and covered it under warranty, no questions asked. Their prices are a bit higher than other mechanics in the area, but if you value quality over cheap price tag, you will not have an issue with it. Over all, The Mechanic OC has been a great experience and I take all 3 of my vehicles there for maintenance/repair. I highly recommend them!

Really have to thank Yelp on this one! So happy to have found this place!…read more I have a project car that rarely gets driven.... On a quick drive to keep the battery and fluids fresh, it felt a little rough. With upcoming plans to sell the car, I wanted to make sure it was in great condition and immediately looked up transmission shops by me. Dave responded right away to my message about getting a free estimate and opened up a spot the next morning. Dave was very kind, informative and patient to talk through scenarios with me. Well, nothing ended up being wrong. George drove it, took a peak under to listen for odd noises... I vehemently argued that something has to be wrong and they must find the cause... He even had me drive with George in the car... seriously, nothing. Dave told me that if the problem came back, to bring the car in asap and he would work on it, but there was no sense in paying to pull the transmission apart when nothing seemed off. Look, there are shops out there who absolutely would've taken my money on that day and worked on it. Especially when I was the one insisting something was wrong lol. This shop is super ethical and between my 2 cars and friends, I definitely would refer this shop going forward. Don't be scared to call them - they are amazing! And yes, this was a few weeks ago and nothing is wrong with the car.

If you own a Mercedes then skip getting ripped off at the dealership and go see Nick!…read more I got pricing from local Mercedes-Benz dealership which I thought was high and then I gave Nick a call. We talked through the pricing and everything was beating what I was quoted from the dealership. First thing I noticed when I walked into their business was all his family photos. It's nice to talk with someone on a personal level and not feel like a number like I do at the MB dealership. I got a service in which Nick beat the quoted price from the dealership. I was having some brake issues and knew that I needed new pads and possibly new rotors. Nick was very honest and let me know that only my front pads needed to be changed and that my back pads still had more use ahead. He also let know my rotors were good so no need to change. I will be bringing my car back to Nick moving forward.
