I inherited a 2002 Toyota Tundra pickup that we use to take our bikes and Paddleboards to the beach. The truck has sentimental value, and I wanted to make it safe and enjoyable to drive. I recently put new tires and wheels on it, but the shocks and suspension definitely needed work. I found Suspension Plus via Yelp. I spoke to the owner Ben who was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He gave my truck an inspection on the lift. He was adamant about not selling me parts I did not need. He understood my concerns about eliminating squeaks and groans of old suspension, and making the vehicle safe for my family. He identified what needed to be replaced, and what parts were still structurally sound. He showed me himself under the truck what was good and what was not, and also suggested new brake pads and rotors. I made an appointment for the following day, and all work was completed on time without any additional cost behind the estimate. My truck is now squeak free, stops great, and the gaps between the front and rear tires in the wheel wells is the same so truck has a much better, modern look. Outstanding Service -- from George's friendly greeting over the phone to the service itself - 4 wheel alignment for new tires. We arrived at 3:54 for our 4:00 pm appointment, but had to call to find the location in the far corner of the strip mall. George easily guided us. Upon entering the business he took my key and told us to make ourselves comfortable. I noticed a standing sign indicating computerized wheel alignment. At 4:15 George said our car was ready. Both cars have same symptoms and what surprised me is I did an allightment at one of my cars with these guys about 6 months ago and had to come back since replaced the tires and the owner told me that it was pretty bad. These guys are crooks. My wife took her car in to get new suspension, brakes, and to fix a failing control arm. They quoted my over the phone to replace everything, but failed to mention they would only be replacing the control arm that was failing. Why on earth would I only want to replace one of them, when the other one is bound to fail?? Why would I agree to that?? That's like only getting new suspension on only the right side of the vehicle. DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE. Sure enough about 6 months later the other one fails and now the fix is going to cost $600+ vs the $200 it would've cost at the time of doing all the other repairs. I don't understand why businesses do stuff like this. Instead of just fixing it the right way the first time, you're trying to squeeze an extra $400 out of me to fix the other one 6 months later? What a stupid way to run a business. Now I have to find a new family mechanic that won't pull stuff like this. Coincidentally, My car is having similar issues. Just brought in the minivan today for a wheel bearing repair. They told me that the axel was cracked too. But since they were already in there, they could cut me a deal on getting both done. . Amazingly after the work, the vibrations in the van dropped significantly. So much so that my wife called me after she drove away to tell me how much better it felt. . I needed to get new tires and an alignment done STAT. This is stuff my dad usually takes care of, and ai wasnt sure what to expect. Suspension Plus was recommended by Tucker tires for alignment . Suspension Plus is located on Forbes across from Tucker tires and near Costco. I called at 8am to ask If I needed an appt, George was super helpful. No appt needed, first come. first serve. Was on a time crunch, 45 min quoted, then my plan was to go to Tucker Tires to get tires replaced all needed to be done before 10:30 on Friday before a family trip planned on Sat am. Unexpected and Stressful initially, Easy and Stress Free in the end, . There is a large lounge, Clean, spacious filled with coffee, tables for work space, large leather couch and chairs, TV , magazines etc. This is super helpful when waiting for 45min-1 hour for work to be done and its cold in the morning air. Really like this shop. Had three alignments done across the past two years and all were perfect. Price is fair, and it's done right the first time. Steering wheel is centered and car tracks well. A spec sheet is provided so you can see your alignment numbers before and after. All 3 times I walked in and my car was done quickly, in about an hour. This most recent time I went at 8am on a Saturday and my car was done by 8:35. Cars aligned were a Toyota Tacoma (1x after I installed a lift kit, 1x after I replaced the tie rods) and a Toyota Prius. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I came in late Friday afternoon as a returning customer for an alignment immediately after having new tires installed by Costco up the block off of Cabot. Checked out of Costco at 12: 55pm and had my car serviced at Suspension Plus sometime around 1:10/1:15pm. I parked in front and a tech took my key to drive it back to the engine bay. My receipt says I was checked out at 1:44pm. Saturday afternoon I notice massive marks on all four of my new tires and rims. Checked two closely to see that it could be wiped off and went on with my errands. Come home to clean my rims and find the front passenger rim has severe scratches on 1/2 of the lip. I still have not parked against any curbs during this time and am usually far from any curbs if that's the only option. Called Suspension Plus Monday morning to inquire about how their techs test drive cars during an alignment job to find out my car did not need to be test driven because they did not see a need to. 1) So how can you verify the alignment if you never test drove my car? 2) I also noticed work was done in less than a hour. At first impressive but asking around, it is a minimum 1 hour. 3) There is 1 mile discrepancy from Costco to Suspension Plus based on mileage printed on invoices. These are stock black crafted line rims from Lexus so I am not looking forward to finding bids for this repair/replacement. I see at least two non-standard business practices and 1 discrepancy during this visit. If a rep from Suspension Plus can correct this matter, I would be willing to edit this review and continue as a customer. As for now I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more
