If I could give zero stars, I would. I want to strongly caution anyone and everyone: stay far, far away from this company. I had a dead battery and was stranded in The Spot parking lot across from the Buffalo airport. Unfortunately, AAA dispatched this circus act, and what should've been a simple jump turned into the most outrageous, incompetent ordeal I've ever experienced. Dylan, the first technician, spent nearly an hour fumbling with a basic jump-start before announcing I "needed a new battery." Fine. I was exhausted and just wanted to go home. But what followed was beyond unacceptable. This man literally caught himself on fire. Sparks were flying repeatedly, he couldn't remove the battery, he nearly broke the battery housing entirely, and he ended up calling someone to talk him through what should've been a routine procedure. After close to two hours of chaos, he finally gave up and called another tech to take over while my parking fees kept climbing. Tony, the next technician, was professional and kind, but even he was stunned by the destruction Dylan left behind. My hood wouldn't close, random broken parts were on the ground, and he actually handed me the pieces Dylan broke and took photos for evidence. He was just as shocked as we were and had to untangle the mess just to tow my car to their shop. Completely absurd. And then came the owner, Mike, who somehow managed to make the entire situation worse. His attitude was dismissive, uninterested, and downright insulting. When I explained everything that happened, his response was: "Poor Dylan." Excuse me? Poor Dylan? After his employee set himself on fire, damaged my vehicle, wasted hours of my time, and left my hood unable to close? The lack of accountability was absolutely astonishing. I asked for an itemized bill so I could show my mechanic if issues came up later. He claimed it would be mailed, SHOCKER, it never arrived. He texted it instead, making it clear he had no intention of treating this situation seriously. His tone was apathetic at best. And his idea of making it right? Offering me a free detailing. I'd rather detail the entire vehicle with a Q-tip and a prayer than trust this company with anything ever again. Bottom line: I will never patronize this business again, and I strongly advise anyone in need of roadside service to tread carefully. Avoid using this company! I had my car towed to dealership for engine lights on. Ended up being a dead battery. Not sure why a jump start did work by towing company, but the dealership provided a new one. When I picked up my car at the dealership, noticed it drove strangely. Had it towed a second time back to dealership. Only to discover the original first tow damaged my rear suspension arms. Now Transit Towing company is denying fault, and I'm stuck with the bill. This was, without question, the worst and most unsafe towing experience I have ever had. At the time of delivery, I was waiting at the front entrance of the campground where I was staying. Approximately four minutes before the scheduled arrival, I observed my vehicle being driven past me at a high rate of speed. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, I received a call from the driver stating that I had provided the wrong address. I informed him that I had just seen him pass by and asked him to turn around. Roughly ten minutes later, he called again, still agitated and claiming he was lost. I was able to visually locate him about one-third of a mile down the road and waved him back toward the correct location. Upon arrival, the driver pulled into a commercial driveway and stopped in a way that blocked the entrance. I attempted to direct him to the proper access road, which is designated as a one-way route for large vehicles. Instead of following instructions, he exited the truck, continued blocking the entrance, and began yelling that he could drive wherever he wanted on the property. He then walked the property rather than following clear directions. Despite being clearly instructed not to do so, the driver proceeded to drive the tow truck the wrong way down a one-way private road within the campground where children were present and playing. This created an extremely dangerous situation and put others at serious risk. During this interaction, I observed that the driver had deeply red eyes and unusually large pupils, leading me to believe he may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol. At that point, I began recording the interaction for my safety. Unfortunately, the situation escalated further and included the following serious issues: * The AAA towing dispatcher remained on the phone with me during the incident and recorded the driver's behavior. * The driver engaged in threatening behavior, approaching me aggressively and making gestures as if he intended to strike me. * He repeatedly yelled and behaved in a hostile and unprofessional manner. * He drove the wrong way on a one-way private road after being explicitly told not to, creating a safety hazard for children and others on the property. * He struck all four tires of my vehicle with a sledgehammer, even after I explicitly told him to stop. * He carelessly unloaded my vehicle, causing one of the wheels to become lodged against the side of the truck (photo evidence available). * My vehicle sustained damage as a result of his actions. * He involved campground management unnecessarily and refused to deliver the vehicle to my rented site, instead leaving it approximately five yards off my property. * Due to safety concerns, law enforcement was contacted. * A formal complaint has also been filed with AAA regarding the damages and to request that your company be restricted from returning to this campground property. I have video, photographic, and third-party recorded evidence documenting these incidents. Additionally, I formally request that you review the tow truck's onboard camera footage from approximately 5:00 PM on April 10, 2026, as it will further substantiate this complaint. This experience was not only unprofessional but posed a serious safety risk to both myself and my property, as well as others present at the campground. I am requesting the following: 1. A full investigation into this incident and the conduct of your driver. 2. Compensation for all damages to my vehicle. 3. A formal written apology. 4. Confirmation of disciplinary action taken against the driver. 5. Assurance that measures will be implemented to prevent this from happening to other customers. Please respond to this complaint no later than May 15, 2026. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will pursue further action, including legal remedies and filing complaints with appropriate regulatory agencies. Highly recommend that you do not use this company. They are not trustworthy and have talked to several other people that were also scammed by them. We were overcharged, were told that the we would be able to pick up our vehicle at a specific time and they were not there. The paperwork for the vehicle was not even available, and the staff had to create a receipt just so we could get our vehicle as we were in a hurry to get somewhere. On the plus side, I was in my father's driveway when my car wouldn't start. Another plus - AAA estimated arrival time for service was less than an hour. And I guess my description of what was happening (or perhaps NOT happening!), clued them in that the issue was probably the battery, and the driver arrived with one on board. At seven years old, I should be glad it lasted that long. Joseph was as polite and efficient as could be. His diagnostic showed that there was still some life left in it, and offered a jump, but I'm not one to wait until the situation is dire. (Learned that lesson years ago when my car died in a supermarket parking lot, and I had to wait for AAA over 4 hours during a snowstorm. At least the store was open, warm, and had coffee!) I needed a tow from my usual mechanic to my car dealership for a replacement starter after my recently bought vehicle. When I arrived the tow truck driver was irritated that I was a few minutes late. He then became belligerent when I told him that I needed to ride with him so my friend could go on her way. He constantly berated me in front of my trusted mechanics and pretty much refused to drive me to the service department at the dealership. I will never use your towing service again. We ran into car trouble while driving from the Midwest to Boston on the July 4th holiday. Called AAA and Conner came quickly to our aid. We needed a new alternator and they got the work done for us early the next day...saving us from having to spend the weekend at a hotel, which would have messed up so many other subsequent plans.... This company just waited in a parking lot to tow cars from an empty dollar general sore. Saturday we were celebrating an event in my boyfriends life at black thorn. They had non parking in their lot so we parked in an empty dollar general lot. ok, we deserved be towed I guess but the cashier at dollar general said he just sits ad waits for people to park there.
