I was depserate to try anything at this point. She told me she could do laser acupuncture to see if that would help. After the first treatment, within minutes, I could feel the pain going away. Within 24 hours, I could sit for hours and I was okay. Within 48 hours, I was not feeling any pain whatsoever. I continued with my treatments and haven't had any pain in my lower back since. A couple months later, I was given antibiotics by my PCM. Those drugs did a number on my digestive system. After being treated by Tiffany, everything was back to normal. I have also had chronic neck, shoulder, and upper back pain for over a decade. I've been to MDs, chiropractors (never again!), and was told by an orthopedic surgeon he needed to "fuse" my neck (after he told me I had virtually no vertabrae left!). Being my first reflexology treatment, I went in with an open mind, however I was surprised to find it COULD be painful at times. Lule has great hands! She knows the pressure points very well and knows how to apply it, so be in tune with what you can tolerate and communicate your needs. Even if I felt a bit of pain, it was because i NEEDED it! I never realized how tense my feet muscles were, and I could definitely sense where the pressure points connected to corresponding parts of my body. I felt awesome afterward, and continued to visit with Jaime and Lule after the session was over. This place is the real thing. Great customer service, the best therapy, and scheduling is very easy. I plan to schedule a full body massage next and I can't wait! I've been going to the same masseuse for three years and must say, "Sorry dear, if you miss me, I'll be going to Avalonian from now on". To top it off, Groupon wouldn't let me review Linda Whiteman on their site b/c they don't allow reviews for refunded groupons - a practice done to mute negative customer feedback to sell more groupons. In looking at several other reviews of Linda Whiteman online, it's clear she has done this to many others and continues to do it. So very disappointing in such a service-oriented field.
