That is one of the reasons we tried it in the first place, great morning schedules for full time workers. The owners and instructors really take their time to be personally involved in your health and that really sets them apart. What gym owner do you know that will text you when they have not seen you in a while just to make sure all is well? Apart from the great 35 minute workout that you get, you get a gym family. I love my crew of work out friends. I recommend this gym to everyone!

I rarely give reviews, but the billing/customer service here was very disappointing. I went to…read moreseveral classes and the trainers were great. I signed up for a 3 week special with my sister. After a single session, my sister's arthritis acted up causing her knee to swell. When she called to ask for a partial refund, she was told it wouldn't be possible even with a dr's note. When I signed up, I let them know that I would be moving and had no interest in their recurring billing, but that was mandatory to sign up at all. When I contacted the owner to ask how to cancel, I received no response until I sent a following text the morning my credit card was charged for the second month. This time I was told I was too late to cancel (5 days notice required even though I had made it clear when signing up 30 days earlier).

Such a shame u cant give zero stars.....Came to this "gym" on a 6 week trial basis. 6 weeks for…read more$200 got me unlimited personal training sessions and unlimited metabolic group sessions. I did like working out here initially, even though its very small (just one large room). When my 6 weeks were up I sat down with Mike Salvetti, the owner and he said that since I did the 6 week program I could continue unlimited at a "special rate" of $200 per month, or could have 1 personal training session a week & unlimited metabolic group sessions for $150 a month. On 11/11/15 I chose the $150 option & we agreed that I would be month to month. The agreement clearly stated that if you cancel by 30 days youre entitled to a full refund. Just after thanksgiving I sent Mike a message letting him know I did not want to continue. He did not respond. So 2 days later I resent the same message and he told me I needed to contact someone named Elsa & let her know I was cancelling. He did not provide a phone number for her, just an email address. I immediately sent her an email per Mikes request. Several days later I still hadnt heard anything from her so I let Mike know she had yet to respond. He said he would make sure she got in touch with me monday morning...that was a thursday. She never contacted or replied. Still hasnt actually and now its been weeks. Last thursdsy I received an automated email from Mike letting me know that an attempt was made for AUTO payment at this gym (which I havent attended since before thanksgiving). I sent Mike another message right away about this and of course he still hasnt responded. As I said before, I DID NOT agree to auto payments, yet he was trying to run the card. He knew this credit card was my mothers, and didnt belong to me. He understood that was a ONE TIME payment and I would NOT be doing auto pay. But....EVERY SINGLE DAY (today included) since last thursday he has been trying to run the credit card. Very very unprofessional! Thankfully the bank is great and has blocked him. He seemed like such a shady person so I also saved all correspondance and the signed agreement. Bc of all the proof I had the bank has also reversed the funds thankfully. I could only imagine if I ended up overdrawn or something bc of this guy...esp at christmas time!! Its really messed up and very scary! Although I have made multiple attempts to reach out to them and get this resolved, neither Mike nor anyone else from this gym have respond to me, which is why I had to take action into my own hands. Bottom line, this gym is complete a rip off and waste of good money! They offer nothing u cant get at any other gym, only they charge $200 per month & aparently thats the "special rate" lol. Even lifetime fitness, which offers countless amenities is cheaper than $200 a month lol Theyre completely unorganized and unprofessional, so if youre even thinking of coming to this gym, DONT!!!

On 1/28/24 I authorized max to charge my card $1,604 for personal training sessions. Everything was actually ok for the first month so when February came around I decided to get a membership for $200 a month for 4-30 min sessions. I thought I could save a few dollars so decided to sign up. I gave Max my credit card and he had said to me that I could actually do 2- 1 hour sessions since I was in pretty good shape. I was ok with that. When I got home I did some calculations and realized it didn't actually make sense to do the membership. So for my following appointment after my session I said " I don't want to do the membership anymore can you please cancel it" and max said " don't worry about it you didn't do the paperwork so you don't have to cancel it" I said ok and I was fine with that. I go do surgery I go back to the gym months later, but before I even go back to the gym I text max over and over for literally weeks saying hey I wanted to finish up my package so I can be done with my sessions. Weeks later max finally send me a text that I had 6-1 hour sessions left because of the membership I had paid for. Great at that point I was only charged $200 for march. I was like great. After that text max goes back into my card and starts charging me a $200 a month fee and I knew nothing about it. I didn't catch it for months because I don't use the card and couldn't understand where the balance was coming from. After I specifically sent this man multiple text messages that I want to finish my sessions and be done he goes behind my back and bills me for a membership . I have since asked max for the paperwork that I signed for this membership but it does not exists. Now I have to take off a whole day from work to go to court to sue this man for my money back. Max Pierre is a thief and he's unprofessional. This man was either late for every session, ended the sessions early or sometimes both, he would be going to answer the phones during my paid sessions, assisting workers with fixing the treadmill, it was always something with him. all while I waited for him on my paid time. Seriously people should stay away from this gym and this man. He can't be trusted. I am going to make it my business to go on every platform I can find to warn people about this man's business practices. Please be careful out here. I am now out of $800 because of this man .and I will now have to lose a day from work to sit in court all day. When these companies ask you to write reviews when you are a new customer don't write them wait a few months to see what kind of business people really operate. FYI I spoke to a trainer that use to work there and he told me that max does this all the time people ask to cancel memberships and he does not do it. Apparently people go on vacation and months later find out this man has been stealing from them. Also if you are a personal trainer be very careful he owes a previous trainer $7000.00 for services rendered and as yet to pay.

The gym itself is extremely clean, and I'm genuinely excited that it's only about two minutes from my house. On top of the beautiful new space and equipment, they also offer 24/7 gym access, which is a huge plus. For anyone familiar with the area, it's literally across from where Tropical Fitness used to be. The gym offers a lot, including Pilates classes, personal training, and nutrition coaching. I was especially impressed by their Pilates studio and the quality of the brand-new equipment. While I haven't met the Pilates instructors yet, I've spent time with both owners, and they truly know what they're talking about when it comes to fitness and nutrition. With so much misinformation out there, I really appreciated how much time they took to explain things thoroughly and thoughtfully (details are personal). There is a parking lot available--just be mindful of the signage and make sure you're parked in the correct spot. I haven't explored the back of the lot yet, but there's also plenty of street parking nearby. If you're looking for a clean, modern gym with knowledgeable owners who genuinely care about your progress, Forge Fitness is absolutely worth checking out. Visit their website to sign up, and I highly recommend booking a consultation--it's the best way to see firsthand what sets this gym apart.

The owner, Tom, is very knowledgable regarding exercising and what you should be doing versus what you should not be doing. I've never felt intimidated or uncomfortable while being there but rather strong and confident. The classes are intense and you ALWAYS feel like you're getting the workout of your life. You will definitely feel every bone and muscle in your body getting a full workout. The classes change on a daily basis and the best part is these classes are universal in that they are appropriate for a beginner in the fitness world or someone who's been working out for some time. I also really like the motivation the staff provides and they never let you slack off. Though these are classes, the staff focuses on every person individually throughout the class and will provide you with guidance/assistance/corrections on any exercises you may find difficult or that you may be doing incorrectly. Additionally, in the 2 years I've been attending this gym, all of the other clientele I've met have been nothing but nice, fun and motivating as well. We push each other to higher limits and enjoy calling each other out if one of us falls short on an exercise. If you're more interested in the one on one training, there are also personal training classes available. Again, similar to the boot camp classes, the personal training is just as intense and the staff can accommodate your workout to your specific needs.
