It may have been larger, but they had so many machines that were in disrepair that you can't even count those. - Convenient hours. What's more convenient than 24/7, even on holidays? - Quality of equipment. On one hand, its very satisfying working out with a simple barbell or dumbbell, and this gym has plenty of those. I believe they have three different sets of dumbbells and more barbells than I've seen in larger, commercial gyms. On the other hand, this place also has unique equipment that I've not seen elsewhere if you're looking for a bigger variety of a workout. The only downside is the cost -- its definitely more expensive than commercial gyms, but I honestly believe you get what you paid for here. The convenience of hours, the quality of equipment, and the helpfulness and friendliness of the people make it well worth it.

After years of training on my own, I decided to work with Redefine Fitness to improve my mobility,…read morestrength, and overall performance--and it completely changed how I approach fitness. The coaching team took a structured, personalized approach, assessing my movement patterns and building a custom program tailored to my goals. They corrected long-standing habits in my lifting technique and body positioning, providing clear, practical feedback that made an immediate difference. They also emphasized key fundamentals like progressive overload, proper recovery, and the importance of rest--giving me a better understanding of how to train effectively. After working with them, I've streamlined my workouts and now get better results in about 45 minutes. My mobility and strength have both improved, and I feel more confident and in control of my training. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a more focused, results-driven approach to fitness.

My primary trainer since I joined in 2019 has been Alli Schorr Fuoco. She not only motivates me to keep pushing and not only is a fantastic trainer, but she's very personable (which is great between sets). Redefine Fitness is like a family: not a large gym in which you get lost, and great trainers who care about your health and welfare and with whom you interact closely. If you want to feel better in the year ahead, I recommend joining a gym; and if you want to join an amazing gym, Redefine Fitness is for you!

Each trainer has a different style, but their energy is high and commitment to personal and achievable improvement is clearly evident. Hannah was the first personal trainer I met at the SB location -- I cannot say enough wonderful things about her -- I love her style, energy, and commitment to healthy living. We talk about many things health-related, including diet, nutrition, lifestyle, and the importance of self care. She encourages me at my most fatigued, and delivers great results. Kolja is another member of my training team, and his encouragement, patience, and enthusiasm peppered with lots of humor makes the routines enjoyable and achievable. His military service is inspirational and a great part of why he is so dedicated to carrying out all "missions" for his gym clients. Kyle is the third of my favorites at the SB location -- his friendliness, patience with clients of all abilities, enthusiasm, humor, and love for good country music to work out by are all a part of his unique style. He knows when to push and when to encourage in a creative individualized way. Even though all of my trainers are young enough to be my children, I respect their knowledge, enthusiasm, patience, concern, and most of all, their professionalism. I couldn't have asked for a better team to make me feel comfortable and to help me get into a healthier lifestyle. Love them!! Highly recommend them all!

I went in looking for information to potentially sign up so i just moved back to the area after over a decade. Already from the moment I sat down I could tell something was off, he proceeded to show me their different plans and was just barreling through a half asses explanation that was different than the plans shown on their website. Anytime I had a question or brought up a discrepancy in the information he gave compared to their website he seems to get more and more agitated. As I was still trying to decide what the best option might be for me I asked to start with a trial membership and was told no straight up and that he could give a trial membership to a friend or family after I sign up. Again I said that their website had the option and he retorted that I had mentioned being a guest once before so why would I need a trial membership when I've worked out at one of their gyms as a guest before and all of their gyms are the same. I'm sorry but isn't it common to want to try something out before making a big commitment, ESPECIALLY to a gym that is not that cheap. I was very taken aback by his tone and aggressive demeanor and requested to speak with someone else. Again he said "NO". From what I gather his sales tactic is to bombard with information and make you say yes before you know what you've signed up for. Extremely aggressive sales rep and extremely rude. Honestly, I probably dodged a bullet because every review I've seen after that encounter was negative talking about how dirty it is and how the equipment is always broken and how rude, aggressive and pushy the staff is. I would give zero stars if I could. Unfortunate because the location is convenient but I'll have to find a place that has staff customer service skills and is not so run down. DO NOT GO HERE!

I chose planet fitness because of the location, price, and I'm no longer really looking to lift stupid heavy weight anymore since I don't want another surgery. To my surprise it's not that bad. It's never over crowded to the point where I start getting annoyed. It actually is kinda nice with people not slamming weights and screams. I mean you still have a few douches here and there but it's not bad. Also I go at 6pm which is usually the busiest time to go to a gym. As for the pricing I got on when they were running a special $0 down and $10 a month. That really is unbeatable. I also love the fact that it's literally two minutes from my house. So all in all if your looking for a laid back, inexpensive, clean gym I would recommend it. If you're looking for a place to lift heavy and grunt like an idiot this is probably not the spot for you.
