I was extremely disappointed we didn't actually cook anything. Everyone was very nice but my expectations for a $100 + cooking class per person were not met considering we didn't cook anything. I was handed a packet with all the recipes for the food we were "making". The first recipe was the crab rangoon except all we did was stuff the wonton wrappers and actually put it together. Same with the bao buns. At no point were the porcupine meatballs even a thing. They were made prior, mentioned, and put on our plates. Everything was made in advance. So I paid to fill wonton wrappers and get printed out recipes I could find online. Also, we weren't even going to get to stuff the bao buns. They were going to have a group of people do each thing - 1 to stuff the buns and the other crab Rangoon except I said I wanted to do the buns too so everyone got to do a couple. Honestly the food was bland except for the bao buns. I won't be using their recipes. Truely disappointed and feel like I was swindled out of money. They should be more forthcoming about what this "cooking class" entails. It's not actually cooking.

We had looked at other home remodeling and construction companies and decided to use Youngren…read moreConstruction for remodeling and upgrading our 26 year old house. We were very pleased with Youngren and would recommend them for remodeling/construction projects, especially for those living in the local area of Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow, Oceanside and Temecula. We found that having a local point of contact was extremely helpful, especially for a large time consuming project like ours. We conducted our remodeling effort in two phases with the first focusing on the kitchen, family room and living room and the second on the hallways, bathrooms and bedrooms. The bathrooms were completely remodeled/redesigned with plumbing changes and wall modifications. The flooring in the entire house was replaced with porcelain tile. New baseboards, window casings, closet doors, and windows were added. The Youngren team worked with us from beginning to end (design, permitting process, material selection, demolition, construction, final inspection) and proved to be very flexible when we requested changes as the worked progressed. One of the most positive aspects of Youngren is that they utilize very professional and reliable subcontractors who worked with us (and the Youngren Supervisor) to fine tune and adjust what we wanted. They included electricians, plumbers, countertop fabricators, drywall/finishers, painters, glaziers/shower glass installers, stucco contractors, cabinet makers and tile installers/setters. All were great. Always shop around, but definitely give Youngren Construction serious consideration for your remodeling project.

Even if they didn't know, every close interaction with another person is a potential threat to my life due to an extremely serious primary immunodeficiency. This is exactly why it's so important to be kind, respectful, and considerate with other people's time. You never know what someone is going through. I would absolutely NOT recommend! Pick literally anyone else. Worst company I've dealt with yet - just so disrespectful to lie and waste my time.

Jai, the project coordinator, was fantastic. She answered every question promptly, quickly arranged for a replacement part that was damaged during shipping, and stayed on top of every surprise that came up during demolition. She always provided clear options and kept the project moving smoothly. Joseph installed the cabinets at an impressive pace while maintaining exceptional quality. His attention to detail was outstanding. He even reinstalled a few cabinets (which meant redoing the work) to ensure everything was perfectly level. The final result speaks for itself. EV Granites did an amazing job with the countertop. They measured everything with precision, created perfect templates, and made excellent use of every inch of the granite slabs. They were friendly, answered all my questions, and worked efficiently to get the project completed quickly. The entire project was wrapped up in just a couple of weeks, which completely surprised me. I had been worried because similar projects often take months. When Heidi and Jai first shared the timeline, I was skeptical (as contractors often overpromise), but Pure Cabinets did the opposite. They beat their already aggressive timeline. It was a refreshing experience.  I wish I could find a general contractor with the same level of professionalism, reliability, and customer focus.
