I have never written a review before but felt that the service I received from TransAuto Logistics deserved it! My dad was there for the vehicle pick-up and said the driver inspected my car thoroughly and was very nice and professional. My car was was then transported from Delaware to California in just 7 days! I received a phone call the day before from two different people - I think one was the driver who transported the car across the country and the other was a local delivery driver (Edy Ortiz). Edy phoned me both the day before to give me an estimated time of delivery and again the morning of delivery to confirm. He was willing to change the location of delivery (within a couple miles of the original destination) with no problem at all. Edy arrived promptly and was so friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and professional! Thank you, Edy! Great service all around by Transauto Logistics. This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with. The drivers were rude and unprofessional at both pickup and drop off. The damage they did to my car was extensive (over $5000) and they failed to show up on time. In fact, they told me for 4 days in a row that their guy would be there the next morning. The people I talked to on the phone worked very hard to stall and avoid responsibility for the damage they did. They promised me all sorts of payments, which they never made. Do yourself a favor and find a better carrier. read more

Picked up on time. Delivered as promised. Car was in exactly the same condition as when it was put on the transport. I've heard stories about dissatisfaction with other companies, but my experience with Transauto Logisitics was excellent. I would recommend them. read more

Update: This company has continued to fail their obligations to communicate with any delays with getting my car to me as promised. After I spoke with the dispatch supervisor John who hung up on me on the 22nd of October. I called CarGo to speak with Kim who booked Transauto to ship my car She spoke with John who told her my car would be loaded the night of the 22nd and would be to my by today the 25th or tomorrow the 26th. I called today to get a update of my car and was told the the carrier who's transporting my car has broken down in Texas and there would be another delay and that I would not get my car until the 29th or the 30th. It's has been a total of 14 days since my car has been turned over to Transauto and John did not reach out to me or Kim at CarGo to inform me of the mechanical issues on his carrier and that the truck carrying my vehicle had broken down. I am currently without a car and no one from the company at Transauto has reached out to me. read more

I had my 2017 Mercedes E300 transported from Malibu, CA to Chapin, SC in mid February 2018 by Transauto. At pickup photos and paperwork were taken and completed notating any damage to the vehicle prior to transport. Upon delivery my car had damage to the rear left tail light and bumper. Photos again taken and paperwork completed notating new damage to my vehicle (not present at pickup). I called Transauto immediately and they said that they would look into the claim. After several days of no return phone calls I finally spoke to Martin who is their claims adjuster, who also is a dispatcher and said that they were denying the claim because they claimed that the damage was there upon pickup. Photos that I personally took and Transauto's own paperwork validate that this was not the case!!! I asked for there insurance information and Martin refused to give it to me. He said I would just have to sue them and then they would present it to their insurance company. I then called the auto transport broker who put me in touch with Transauto, and she gave me their insurance brokers contact info. I spoke to the insurance broker and after weeks of getting the runaround, he finally put me in touch with Custard Insurance Adjusters. Custard had an adjuster come and look at my car and was given an estimate of $1271.76 to get my car repaired. Months went by with Custard telling me a check would be in the mail shortly. In late July I contacted Custard after months of waiting only to be told that Transauto has a $1500.00 deductible, and I would have to collect it from them since my repair was below this amount. The representative at Custard assured me that Transauto would pay the $1271.76. I then contacted Martin again who again said he would look into it and call me back in a few days. Never received a call back. I finally reached Martin again who said that they were still denying the claim and that I would have to sue them. I filed complaints with the insurance board, department of transportation and I am in the process of filing a complaint in local court. This company is scandalous. They are not honest or reliable, and know that if you do use them and there is damage, their insurance company won't honor the claim. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CAN!!! read more

This is an outstanding group to work with. John facilitated my order to move my newer car from LA area to NC last month. Everyone was highly professional from the employee, Eddy who carefully picked up my care to the transport driver, Jason who delivered the car to NC. They did a great job ensuring the safe and timely transportation of my care within the given timeframe. Shipper started off picking up the vehicle & immediately demanding $100 more than agreed. We were told we had permission to place 150 lbs of contents in the vehicle as long as it was below window level. That was done & a record of the weight of every container was provided. The man picking up the vehicle said we were lying & cited the position of the wheel in the wheel well as proof. He then demanded an extra $100 for the implied added weight. The next day I spoke with the Jin & had the extra fee waived (but not without hoop jumping). Was told car would arrive in 7-10 days & we would be given 24-48 hour notice of the delivery date/time/location. After 10 days & no communication, I called the company. They had no idea of the status & had the driver call me 2.5 hours later. The driver had no idea of his route or his time of arrival of my vehicle. All he could tell me was the stop before mine. He told me he would text me between 8-10PM & call me in the morning when he was 1 hour away. This is a significantly different plan than I was provided on booking & I still had no idea where I had to go to get my car! Well, none of that happened. I got a text message at 4:45 AM....yes I said AM, telling me to the location to get the car at 9 AM. In summary, it took 11 days to get the car & 35-40 phone calls (sometimes 5-6 in a day because no one had answers). Ugh! Absolutely an awful experience! read more
