Other than having the BEST price around, they are super friendly and fast. Soon as ai pulled into the lot, the attendant came outside the building. Grapped my bottle and started filling. I went inside to pay. The office is fully stocked with assorted bottles, grills & heaters. I highly recommend this place. read more

When I first came here the guy who works here all the time bleed my Ignik gas growler even though it said all over in stickers do not bleed. I had to get a new one and I went to a different business. I waited about a year and came back and Everytime I come here with my RV, my tank smells more and more of leaking propane. I'm not accusing him of anything just stating my experience. Simple, straightforward, to the point. You pull in, they fill your tanks, and you pay. Nice and fast service 5/5.

Quick, cheap and easy. You typically have to sacrifice one of the three but not if you refill your gas grill propane tank here.

Never imagined I'd be writing a review for a propane company but here I am. Have driven by this place hundreds of times but thought it was commercial only. After seeing them on Yelp, decided to pop over to see if might refill my 5 gal bbq tank (on July3rd no less-yes, I procrastinated). Pulled in next to the tank & 2 guys just waiting for me. They pulled the tank from my car, filled it up, then put back in my car. I never even had to touch the tank! Went in to pay and entire process was done in about 5 minutes! Total cost about $15. I noticed they also had tanks for sale inside in various sizes. read more

Great local business to get your propane from! Gabriel is always helpful in getting my tanks filled quickly and for a great price!

Great customer service! Was able to get a quick propane refill and all my questions answered.

I was struggling with what type of heat lamps to get because I really didn't want to deal with lugging propane tanks to get exchanged and spent a ton time researching alternatives like electric and natural gas lamps, but the traditional propane tanks always seemed to get the best reviews in terms of heating a space. So I tried to find somewhere in LA that would deliver propane tanks but had no luck. Enter Trans Gas Propane - they will refill your tank in what is a very easy process. ~$10 to fill an empty 20 pound tank. They sell brand new empty tanks for $33 (I got mine for $30 at Costco but $33 is still a great deal). It's set up like a gas station - you pull in, hand your tanks the the guy at the pump, he fills them up and then you go inside to pay. Easy. So easy that I bought back up tanks for both my heat lamps and had them filled. read more

Can't say enough great things about this company. Very Profesional and they run the business like clockwork. Have been coming here for propane since I was 18 years old. Always friendly and helpful staff present. The price is always the best in town. They fill the tanks so fast and with great customer service. I had a chance to speak with one of the owners yesterday for the first time. Levon was so kind and gracious to me. Told me all about their growth and the level of customer service he deliverers to his customers. Very pleasant and could tell he really cares. Inspired me to write this review. Such hard working and pleasant people. Thank you for your service to the community. Keep up the great work! read more

Very convenient location to fill up a propane tank. Prices about $11 for a 5 gallon tank and the service is fast and efficient. Don't expect great customer service or a friendly smile, but you get what you need and get out of there quickly. If you live in the area, this is a much better option than the rip off prices of Blue Rhino. Highly recommended for a reasonable price to fill up those propane tanks! read more

By far the best experience I've had filling up my propane tanks. Would recommend for anyone running businesses using outdoor heaters because they respect your time and money. The guy filling up the tank doesn't say much. You go to the tower of propane, drop off your tanks, have it filled, put your tank back in your car, pay at the register, and you are good to go. This whole process takes less than 10 mins and each tank cost $9.00 to fill up. SUPER AFFORDABLE AND AN EASY PROCESS!!! Beware: they close every Sunday. read more

This my 2nd year with the business. I never reviewed, but have Always been Happy with the Service received and the Price is Right. This is my go to stop for propane. Pro: Drive right up to the refill point. Never busy at 4pm. Efficient service. Best price in town. Super easy access to the freeway. Con: It's a little bit of a hassle to walk across the lot to pay with a card. So pay cash on the spot after you learn the pricing. Of note, the service guy is not a talker but that's OK, I am. He's all business which makes the visits quick. For example, 3 customers were in and out within minutes. read more

Cheapest propane refills in the area (that I know of)! I've got 5 tanks that rotate between two back yard patio heaters & a bbq grill. So when it's the lowest per gallon than anywhere else I've found, anything I've said after this sentence is worth it. Grab your empties & head over to the propane tank station http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trans-gas-propane-los-angeles?userid=U0vzuP_b7vwX8OnLkXaQFQ#NX7L3B-zK4H5eu2cbwFPBQ & the older emotionless gentleman will head over to fill them for you without saying a word. He'll point to the meter when he's done (I guess you have to remember how many gallons the meter reads). Again, without saying a word, he'll head back to the office while you load your filled tanks into your vehicle. NOTE: Double check to see your valves are in the "closed" position. Yeah, now you head into the office to pay. I suppose this is where you make sure that the meter reflects the amount on the receipt. Say thank you & you'll get a grunt. I'm used to it. If you need anything propane or anything that a propane tank hooks up to, you can purchase it here. He's got grills, hoses, connectors, nozzles, even bbq utensils. If time is money, don't bother going anywhere else, because anywhere else, a dollar will be holding up a nickel. You don't want that. The guy being emotionless saves on chit-chat & time. I don't give a damn if the guys here are surly. You're not here to make friends, you're here for propane. Get in-get out. Done deal. 4-stars for in-out quick service & I'm adding a star just because it's down the street from Golden Road Brewery http://www.yelp.com/biz/golden-road-brewing-los-angeles. hahahahaha May you never get caught w/your pants down & n'ver find your grill w/out fuel. deez® out. read more

The best place to go for a refill. Fast service and always has the best prices. Also have a variety of propane tanks for sale...

Went here to refill my propane tanks. Easy, Fast, and great price. I recommend going here for propane refills

I thought the guy was nice. I had very, very, very old tanks - so he refused to add propane to them. The first place I stopped at before his also refused to add propane. The shelf life for a tank is 12 years, and both of mine were 25+ years. Said it was probably rusty inside. So I bought new tanks and added the propane. The cost was minimal, and we are talking about something flammable, so it was worth the upgrade. As for the comment that you have to walk 'all the way across the lot to pay' it's a 10 second walk. Seriously, it's a tiny lot. I would go back again. When we walked inside to pay, he stepped aside and let me enter first. It was a nice, customer gesture. read more
