Great little hidden gem! I work in Sun Valley and passed by this spot by pure chance. It normally costs $15-$17 for 4.5 gallon fill out my way in Santa Clarita. I see the price posted here at $1.70/gal but maybe it is a fleet or bulk price? I have filled 2 tanks so far on two separate trips and as one other review stated, the actual OTD cost varies. One time $12, the next was $8.35 for 4-1/2 gal each time. Makes each fill cost $10.17, averaged so far! Not going to argue with that. Friendly attendant with fast and easy "no BS" in & out. Do yourself (and your wallet!) a favor and top by Propane Spot! Quit getting ripped off by high cost gas stations or other local little watering holes. read more

This is the 3rd time they lie to me. Each time I schedule them for propane, they do not show up! What passed me off this time is that I clearly told the lady "are you sure you can make it today? This was 8:00am. She called someone and said "yes!". No propane leaving 2 seniors in a freezing cold house. I call in the afternoon and he lies again and says tomorrow which is Saturday. No show. Now he says Monday! There's 2 fragile seniors in the house. They could have politely said "sorry we are booked". I would have called another company and been ok. Now I have to pay $200 emergency delivery from someone else. Avoid if you are almost on empty . Update: Tens min after I got upset and told him don't bother for Monday, they showed up and filled the tank. At least he felt bad..... Again, just be honest and say "I'm not sure if we can make it" read more

Ok place. Something fishy about how operator calculates final cost. Price is supposed to be tax included, but price operator charges is always higher than the gallons on meter times the price. Ugh. Shady practices? Bring your own calculator and show operator your math. May go elsewhere in the future read more

Today was my second experience purchasing my propane at Propane Spot. I had 2 tanks to fill and the gentleman filled them within 5 minutes of my arrival. The 2 tanks of propane only cost me $24, which seems very reasonable, considering the current pandemic/supply chain/energy crises. Conveniently located not far off the 5 freeway, which is also great. I'll continue to use these guys because I was treated nicely and with respect, and I feel comfortable with the pricing. read more

Found this place today when I needed to refill my propane tank. Lowe's and Home Depot charge about $20 for a propane tank exchange but here you can refill your tank for $2.15 a gallon. We were in and out for under 11 bucks! read more
