I've been coming here for a couple of years now and cannot recommend a better place to recycle. The owner and staff are always courteous and efficient and offer the best price for my recycling. I do always separate before going so I'm quicker but sometimes an odd one or two get in the wrong bag which is never a problem Highly recommend Sarian Recycling and I have never had a problem finding parking in the front of the facility read more

Started recycling cans recently and found this place near me. Got there as soon as they open, they were very quick and attentive got me in and out in under 5 minutes. For the amount I brought in it was pretty cool ($12 bucks is $12 bucks). read more

Convenient location for the foothills. Parking can be a bit of a pain since there is no lot and only limited street parking in front, but the guys are helpful and quick and the payouts are decent. read more

Sarian Recycling is a great place for me to bring my recycling. They are efficient and convenient in location and hours for me.

Great place to do my recycling needs. I will come back again for sure. They don't have a parking but I didn't find it hard to find street parking close by. The workers/owner was a super friendly as well. read more

They are very respectful and efficient. They were happy to answer my questions. Usually there is parking right in front, so the recycling doesn't have to be hauled very far. read more

I love Sarian Recycling!! The place is clean, they work hard at getting you in and out (even assist with taking the bags of bottles/cans from your car!) snd the owner is friendly. I've been going here for several years and have recommended Sarian Recycling to all my friends!!! read more

It was quick and efficient. Before I went there I checked out reviews on yelp. One advised getting plastics and aluminum cans separated before you go there. It worked well and I will go there again. read more

They CLOSE AT 3:00 SATURDAYS NOW (10/14/23) But the guys are always patient, and make sure that everybody is treated fairly and correctly . read more

You can get in and get out quick and you know you're getting the correct value for your recycles. Trustworthy. Friendly.

Sarian Recycling was very professional and quick. However it always seems to look busy full of people but luckily when I was there, there was hardly anyone there so it went by quick. If it's your first time here just ask the employees where the material you want to recycle goes. I was recycling water bottles and it filled one full cylinder to the rim which totaled up to about to $10. Parking is also a little tricky to find. Regardless happy with the service definitely recommend. read more

Sarian Recycling - Recycling Center Near Me - Los Angeles, California

THESE PEOPLE STEAL FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS! We came in today & they took a full plastic bin all the way to the top to dispose of when I went back to my car for more. Never coming back again! He got defensive when I noticed and the other worker was quiet while he did the talking. In front of me & customers! They should be ashamed of themselves. They agreed to give us 10lbs which was ours to begin with. Never coming back. read more

Went in to recycle my cans and bottles. I looked at the prices per lb. Got way less than I was suppose to get. Didn't bother arguing with guy. Guy is a scammer. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere read more

Yelp Challenge 2016 - 71/116. I frequent this place, and come here whenever the beer bottles, wine bottles and Coke Zero cans threaten to take over my kitchen. The owner is very nice and helpful. The staff doesn't talk much, but they will help you sort your recyclables to make things go faster. Use a different basket or plastic trash can for your plastics, glass and cans. They are open until 5 pm on weekdays and on Saturdays. Mornings are busiest and street parking is limited, so come after 12 noon for a faster in and out experience. Watch out for occasional broken glass in the street. I've been guilty of creating this hazard when some beer bottles rolled out of my hatchback. The staff here do sweep and clean up broken glass, but do watch your step as you exit your car. Bonus: there's a marijuana dispensary next door... Do not miss their "display" of glass liquor bottle "art" behind the desk. There are empty glass boots and shoes and pistols and skulls and just gigantic empty bottles that used to hold a lot of booze. I have to remember to take a picture for y'all the next time I go. Reduce. Reuse. RECYCLE!!! read more

visited 9/24/2016 We usually go to the recycle place near Vons, but he was having an issue. Apparently his bin wasn't working properly and he had all these bottles which needed to be done. The last thing I wanted to do was return home with the three bags of bottles my daughter already packed up into my car! I checked on yelp if there was any other recycling place close to Vons and low and behold I found this place!! He wasn't busy. Only street parking. Easy to miss. Not great looking, but the job was done! Unlike the other recycling place, this guy had two helpers. One of the guys helped by daughter put her bottles into the containers. I hated the fact that there were so many bees, but we just dealt with it. He gave her her money on the spot. We were done with this chore!! read more

Great employees and so helpful and polite. We love People like this that care about helping others. Great Staff Thank You read more

Believe me when I say this, when we left our plastics in a weighing container unattended to retrieve more recyclables from the car...one of the workers took our plastics and put it in their storage bins secretly without calculating weight and kept quiet...when we came back we noticed it missing and questioned it's whereabouts and they played it off as of nothing never happened! Scammers! Go to Chevron up the street, they offer better service read more

Well they finally got rid of the Vons La Crescenta recycling station and these guys were my closest option. I took my 6 bags of recycling and 2 workers helped me separate the plastic, cans and bottles. I got $22 and cleaned up the side yard, yippee! read more

I pulled up to the curb, removed two large boxes filled with 80 or so clean crushed Canada Dry 2-liter bottles with caps, and I was told to dump them in a large blue can. The weight was plainly displayed, and I received more cash than I expected with a smile and a thank you from the proprietor, all within five minutes. That's as good as it gets in my recycling experience. read more

I've been coming here for years to recycle cans, bottles, and plastic. Super quick, friendly service. I always end up getting more $$ then expected. I'll be back in a few months! read more

My first time there. The recycle place at Vons was closed & I just needed to get this stuff recycled. They were busy, yay them! They worked fast, again yay! They paid well, yay me! The biggest challenge was parking. Once I found a spot then it was great! Will go back! read more

This is my go-to place for recycling! Sarian Recycling is the best!!! Everyone is friendly and the guys are all fast at getting you in and out of there in under five minutes. I have never been there more than a short amount of time, even when there were a few people ahead of me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Best place to come to for recycling. Staff is friendly and super attentive. It's good to know that there are still fair businesses like this one around read more

I love this place. It is farther away from my home, but I can drop off the stuff and get out in less than 5 minutes. I do come with my plastics and cans sorted at home which helps expedite the service. read more

I don't trust a place that does not have the (supposed) weights of the plastic baskets on them. The only one that did was marked 1.2 lbs, felt like less than a quarter pound hamburger when I picked it up. The place next to the chevron/U-haul was closed as of 1/22/2020 so I'm looking for another. read more

I have bee looking for a good place to take my cans and bottles. I accumulate quite a collection during an average month and wanted to get some cash back. It had definitely been a struggle to find a reliable recycling center in my area. So glad I found this place. They were nice, friendly, and super efficient. I was in and out in less that 20 minutes. (Mostly my fault, I was sorting there instead of beforehand) read more

First time going today and everybody was helpful, showed me the quickest way to do everything, and I got more than any other place gave us, so win win. read more

Great place to recycle. Friendly and fair service!

I recycled bottles and cans. I go here twice a year and have always been treated with courtesy and professionalism. They are eager to help you with your materials and to complete the transaction in short order. I will continue to go here and encourage others to do the same. read more

They were helpful with my 6 bags of bottles and plastics. Not crowed and no long lines. They were ready to serve me right away. They also paid better than Vons. I really like this place and will go regularly to do my recycling. read more

I would give them 5 starts - which they absolutely deserve, but the parking situation, which is beyond their control, is available curbside only, and right in front; and I found it difficult. Other than that, the helpers were so courteous, fast and helpful; the place was buzzing with business; and, my order was weighed as soon as it was loaded in the bins (fast); and I was done and gone quickly. It was a surprisingly good experience. These people are very good to deal with. I will definitely be back! I'm a new fan :) read more

Very honest people. They are there to make a living and not to rip you off for the scraps that you collect to earn a few bucks back. I'll use them from here on read more

Good local recycling place in this neighborhood. Pays reasonable. Sometimes it's a hit and mis.

This place is run by complete conmen. They rip you off completely. I know within a couple of dollars exactly how much I should get for the amount I bring in. I know for a fact that they shorted me at least $15-$20. They don't tell you how much for each different type of container is that they weigh, they don't tare out the scale with the container, and they write the amounts down in a foreign language so you don't know what's going on for sure. I've been recycling my stuff for a lot of years, I know precisely what I get almost every time. Unless you like getting ripped off, run in the opposite direction of this filthy dump. I'm going to report them to the Dept of Weights and Measures. read more

Forget Vons, this place is always open, even if somebody has hundreds of bottles and cans in front of you, you will be in and out in five minutes. Nice people, they even help you. read more

I thought I'd try out Sarian's when Vons just got too busy and hot! 2 men helped me take out all my bottles from my car and then helped put them into the tubs, then I received approx $2 more than I would have received at Vons. I highly recommend this place , it took me literally 9 mins from start to finish. I will definitely return. read more

We've lived in Montrose for 11 years and have always taken our bottles to the recycle certer behind Vons to mixed results. We've had lovely service (years ago) and very unhelpful service. Trying Sarian for the first time because the other center is closed on Thursdays (and Tuesdays), even though this is a few miles further it was so worth the trip. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They take everything, even non-refundunable plastics.. we just pulled up to the curb, they brought the pails to us, help us load them, we were in and out in minutes. The proprietor was friendly and kind. I will travel the distance for this excellent service. read more

I've been here on multiple occasions since the Recycling center by Albertsons closed down. The workers are always sweet enough to help me take my bottles in and always help me when I'm sorting the bottles out. They can be packed right before closing, but they do a good job of trying to get you in and out of there. It's location can be easy to miss if your not paying attention but other than that, they are honestly really great. At Albertson's i had issues with the workers giving attitude when we'd try to do our recycling, and there's none of that at this location. The guys are very respectful and really helpful! read more

Nice guys. They work fast and they seem to use the class for their blowing glass projects.
