I originally didn't plan on changing the diff fluid, but Rei recommended doing it while the car was already there and explained why it was a good idea. I'm glad I went ahead with it. They also took the time to inspect my front struts while the car was there and let me know they're starting to go and should be replaced soon. I appreciated them pointing that out and explaining it instead of just ignoring it. Their pricing was fair too, especially after getting quotes from a couple other places. The whole process was smooth and the car honestly feels better driving now. Definitely a shop I'd come back to and would recommend if you need work done on your car.

NO way the car wash caused the damage! I wanted the cabin filter changed, along with an overall inspection. It was not changed. I have been a solid customer, with hundreds of dollars spent. I will NOT spend any more time OR money with Mike.

I was able to get my car towed to Casey's the following Monday (we used D&R Towing at the recommendation of the shop, and that was a great experience in and of itself, I left them a good review too. Thanks, Rich!) and my car was assessed the next day despite being told Wednesday-late Thursday was the soonest. I was in a pinch working an hour from home and needing the car back before noon today, but the crew got it in and sorted and had it back to me just shy of two days later! The price was as-quoted, no surprise fees or "other" issues that arose between my phone calls and arriving to pick the car up. I was also advised of some preventive maintenance to be done on my next oil change, but was told I can wait until then for that. Big thank you to Mike for being so communicative and transparent with the repairs and timeline, and Fausto (I think that's his name?) for providing an update on the repairs and giving me some good news yesterday (and not being totally annoyed when I frantically called for an update, haha.) They listened to some other problems my husband was noticing and let him know what else they could look at while they were down there. If it was something they could do easily, it would save them time from having to take the part out again and fix it later, then they would be able to offer a discount on the bundled repairs. If the issue was something that required them to be in a different part of the car, then they recommended we wait because it would cost more for the labor of looking/disassembling/reassembling. Totally reasonable! While they were fixing the car, they noticed something with the clutch that was making it wear faster. They provided a recommendation that would improve the engagement plus allow it to last longer. Anyway, the details are just to prove that they're great to work with. They communicate really well and make sure you're comfortable and educated with your options.

Transmissions... transmissions... transmissions... these guys know transmissions and are AWESOME. They fixed the transmission in my wife's van and did it without costing me a fortune. All it needed was a quick scan and system reset and I was good to go. Other places would have wanted to start rebuilding or replacing. Honest, great work! With those miles it was having normal (and some abnormal) aging issues: Dual temp heater control issues. Oil leaking from the valve covers onto the plug boots, turning them to mush. Carbon build up. Intake air leaks causing rough idling. Jimmy took his time and talents and fixed it all. He wouldn't let it leave the shop until it was right. It wasn't cheap but it was very fair and much, much less than a dealer. I've worked on cars and engines and I know what this kind of dedication takes. This was an absolute hellhole compared to how Nedza usually was. Piles of OilDri, torn hunks of cardboard packaging everywhere on the floor, and piles on various used parts strewn about. Motorcycle parked so you couldn't get to the waiting area. There are three lift bays for cars, one being a drive up/on. My service would need a non-drive up/on. Those two are in use. So, they aren't ready for my appointment. The poor worker hears us come in, and immediately is calling on his phone, and hands his phone to us on speaker to chat with someone named Luis/something/didn't get a good look at it. I have no problem with anyone being employed anywhere, but this poor man can't communicate with me. "Whatcha need?" (WTF is this question?) "I had an appointment at 8 for a LOF/rotate." "Oh yeah. I am out doing a test drive on a car right now. Be there in a bit. Just give your car keys to him." (He took the car home with him to test drive?) Feeling uneasy, I give my keys to the worker guy. Walk outside and then in the outside door to the waiting room. Decide that with a repair shop floor that looks that bad compared to the years that I have been a customer that I don't want them touching my car, I go back in, ask for my keys back and leave.
