I was lucky enough to notice a deal going on, on their Facebook page. So, I jumped on it and scheduled a massage that day. The facility is very small, nothing special, but still very clean and tranquil. However, there was major construction going on outside the door and it defitnley affected my massage. I recieved a 90minutes full body massage that I would have considered perfect if it had not been for the noise outside. The massage therapist was able to get out my major knots in my shoulders and teetered on giving me a deep tissue based on my needs. I could have been there for another hour. I unfortunatley also got lost and had no idea where to park, since there is a sign next to the facility that says DO NOT PARK HERE, therefore I was 15 minutes late, and by the time I got on the table after filling out paperwork, she had to cut down on my massage time because there was someone else coming in. Guess they book them back to back with not much room for this sort of problrem. I would go back to try again should I be on time, there was no major construction going on outside, now that I know where to park and had a coupon so then I could really have a perfect experience. read more

What a luxurious experience! The spa is so quaint it makes you want to stay for the entire day! I had Amanda and she was amazing! After my body scrub, she rubbed hot seaweed gel all over my arms and legs then wrapped me in the coziest blanket burrito ever! While I was baking away I received a neck and shoulder massage followed by 20 minutes of listening to relaxing music. She came back into the room and rubbed off the gel with hot towels then gave me a 90 minute hot stone massage (insert drool here)! A FOUR HOUR MASSAGE WITH MARSHALL!!!!!!! BEYOND INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! AND SOOOO HEALING!!!!!!!!!! I went to Marshall with acute rotator cuff tendonosis and told him I wanted to do VERY deep work. I asked if he'd be willing to do a four hour massage and he gamely said yes. It was the best massage of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marshall gave me a three hour Thai massage during which I was on the mat in different postures while Marshall supported my body to be at ease with experiencing different pressure points, stretches and an array of techniques that was AMAZING!!! And I've had a lot of massage before! The whole time I could tell Marshall was "listening" to my body and responding to what it was "telling" him. Marshall gradually went deeper and deeper into the bodily tensions at the root of my tendonosis, taking the time to help my body release layer after layer of tighness and dysfunction. Marshall didn't talk more than necessary (I'm not into conversation during massage), but he did explain to me clearly what I needed to understand so I could heal and help my own body and not get so kinked up again. After three hours Marshall switched to Swedish massage because he said so much bodily tension had been released that I needed to stimulate my lymphatic system so my body could process the extremely deep work that had just been done. I felt safe with Marshall the entire time, and my body felt safe and grateful and allowed this extremely deep work to happen. Marshall is immensely gifted - he'll go far in his work!!! Saturday September 12th 8 am appointments for 5 of us. 1 bride, mother of the bride and three bridesmaids. The first thing I noticed was that they opened early for us. The ladies basically let us take over and spread out our food, make-up, drinks and everything. They were so accommodating. Sarah did my hair and Megan did the bride and brides mom. I absolutely adored my hair-do. I showed her a picture and she did the style wonderfully. I was supposed to come in with clean and dry hair but due to forgetting my shampoo at home I came in with dirty hair. They were all very gracious and we had so much fun. I've had my hair done here a couple times by Molly and I absolutely love it! She does an excellent job with my layers and does a great job with my crazy dye requests! Its great to have a stylist who is willing to do something fun! Salon is cozy and all of the staff is super friendly. Great massage by Jaime. I like extremely deep tissue and she delivered and had the sweetest personality which made it easy to communicate with her. The facility itself is VERY tiny (only two small rooms) . I didn't see an outdoor lounge (though I didn't inquire about it) . Very small but also very clean. Was in town for the weekend visiting family and my sister in law had raved about this girl Rebecca so I decided to give myself a treat since I was on "vacation" :) It was unlike any massage I have ever had! She focused on places I didn't even know I had tension in! Normally after a massage I feel pretty good but only for that day. I have a really bad back and horrible neck problems that I take pain relievers for on a daily basis, but I haven't had to take anything for almost a week now because of whatever she did! Rebecca gave me the most thorough massage I have ever had! I literally left feeling like a new woman. 1st time and Emily was my stylist. She was very friendly, nice, and easy to talk to. She cut my hair exactly as I asked for and is the first stylist I have had that both cut off my dead split ends and didn't take too much length off. I often find myself telling stylists I want it longer than I really do because I am afraid and now I know I could have asked her to cut off more. She gave me a great long hairstyle with lots of layers that are blended in really well. I think next time I will try color, oh and the free conditioning treatment coupon that she gave me. I used the living social deal, but it would have been very affordable without it. Location isn't great, but the inside is super cute and makes up for it. Give it a try. read more

Excellent masseuse, professional, nurturing! I saw a Groupon for three massages at Massage Harbor, and hesitated to buy it because my last Groupon massage (at a different venue) was so bad it really wasn't worth even the 50% I'd paid. But the review here of Marshall (and other practitioners) were so good I bought the Groupon and signed up for a massage with Marshall. It turned out to be the best massage I've had in years! The other reviewer hit it spot on: Marshal is strong, persistent with knots, intuitive, as well as very professional, kind and warm. I've had a persistent shoulder problem for over two months and have done PT, osteopathy and acupuncture to try and heal it, but all the pain in the shoulder has led the whole rest of my left side to be knotted, tight and painful too. Marshall listened to me describe how the shoulder pain radiated into my deltoid muscle and said, "Ah, a plan is forming." I could tell as soon as he started the massage that he was a great masseuse--extremely professional about draping, started with some gentle shiatsu rocking, and has incredibly strong, but gentle hands. And his plan for my shoulder was some really deep trigger point work that released so much of the pain I've been carrying. I always leave massages wishing people would have done more deep work, but this time I felt like I got enough, yet not so much that I'm sore after. And Marshall's professionalism, expertise and warm, responsive presence all felt incredibly nurturing at a time when I've been in a lot of pain. I decided about 5 minutes into the massage that I'd found a practitioner I'll return to regularly.
