We were able to get an appointment for the very next morning. The Vet that came to they house was so kind and caring as was the other lady who came and picked our Dexter up. The procedure was quite quick and she talked us through each step. When it was time for them to take him away, he was carefully wrapped in a blanket, placed in a bed, and carried out. I would highly recommend them. read more

I love my fur babies like my children. I'm also a retired hospice nurse and know the importance of a "tranquil passing." That is exactly what you get when you hire this compassionate, empathetic Vet to help your beloved fur baby cross the Rainbow Bridge, with dignity and in the comforts of their own home . Sadly, I have had to put 2 of my 7 pets down in the last 1.5 yrs. I have used Tranquil Passings both times. For me, it is well worth the price (which really isn't a whole lot more than my standard Vet charges). The Vet that handles the CDA area is ABSOLUTELY incredible! I couldn't say enough good things about her. The experience was full of compassion and very peaceful for my pets. It allowed them to be surrounded by love and gave closure to the other animals that loved them, as well. I will always try to offer the same experience for my other animals, if possible. They deserve nothing less! read more

My sweet baby girl was over 16 and had been dealing with heart problems for two years. Finally, nothing helped. Through my tears I found these kind professional veterinarians. I will never be able to replace my pup, but I got to say goodbye in the best possible way. read more

Having to put a beloved pet down is never easy, but Tranquil Passing made it just a little bit better for me. I believe the vet who helped me was named Megan. She was AMAZING. She was incredibly kind, gentle, compassionate, and patient. She explained the process to me in detail and allowed the process to go at my pace. She also made clay paw prints and helped me to get some stamp paw prints as well! My baby, Nala, was most comfortable on my bed so that is where I wanted her to go. I was worried the vet would not allow this. But Megan and I sat on my bed with Nala and my other baby Miss Bugs. Megan even helped to comfort Bugs (and Nala of course) throughout the process. She also empathetically listened while I talked about Nala and her story, which is really appreciated. I had to do this process alone, but Megan helped me feel less alone. She is also incredibly good at what she does veterinary wise. I am sure all of Tranquil Passing vets are very good vets and people. I am so grateful for Tranquil Passing and for Megan. read more

This was the very best solution for our very large aging pet. Made the appointment, communication was great and was kept updated by text. Dr. Lacey was so compassionate and kind during the entire process and helped us transition our sweet 16 year old boy to a peaceful rest. He always wanted to be outside and Dr. Lacey was really good at allowing it to take place outside, in the grass on a blanket. Thank you for your Grace during our time of mourning. read more

Dr. Morgan Feist was kind, caring, and professional, as she guided both our Murohy and my family through the procedure. Thank you for taking the time to explain every step and helping him to cross the rainbow bridge with so much love and ease. read more

It's really not possible to put into words how grateful I am for this team and this service. The client care coordinators were very kind (especially when I had to call and reschedule for later in the week because I wasn't brave enough the first time). Dr Haley was a quiet calm presence in our home. Very kind. Didn't rush the process, answered our questions and didn't move forward with any part of the process until we said it was okay. It's such a hard hard thing to do but being able to do it in our own home where our girl was comfortable and with all of her loved ones was only possible thanks to tranquil passing. Should you choose a clay paw print is also included in your time together. read more

I don't quite know where to start-Tranquil Passing was booked until Thursday when i called today and they had me work with another amazing company, Craig from Loving Paws, and he found a wonderful vet Dr. Laura to come today-then Craig showed up once Misty passed. I just can't thank all of these kind hearted merciful people enough for getting Misty and us through this day-it is sooo very hard, and they made it as peaceful as it could possibly be-with no notice! read more

We have hosted the kind folks at Tranquil Passing three times now and I will probably never use another service. They charge less than the vet, but allow you and your pet to be comfortable in your own home. They will not rush the process and carefully explain every step. The two vets I've had were beyond what I expected. They will treat your animal as if they were their own, gently and with the utmost care, and I cannot more highly recommended them. If you want to take your time and be with your baby as they cross the bridge, these are your people. read more

I'm not sure I can adequately put into words how Dr. Lacey's care and compassion helped us through this difficult time. Our dog Abby was in an incredible amount of pain and once we tried everything we could medically we knew we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl. Dr. Lacey arrived at our house and talked us through the process, she welcomed our other dog to be there as well and gave them both treats. Being there for the euthanasia has helped our other dog deal with the loss of his best friend. She first gave Abby an injection that relieved her pain so that she was relaxed and comfortable but still awake while we said our goodbyes; Dr. Lacey was kind and so patient and gave us all the time we needed. The euthanasia itself was very peaceful and though we are so sad that it had to be done we couldn't have asked for a more compassionate caregiver. Our sweet dog was surrounded by her people and her companion dog while she peacefully slipped away. read more

We found this service to be incredibly impersonal and felt very rushed in our last moments with our baby. It seemed the doctor was behind schedule and needed to rush off to the next patient, which is not a great feeling on the worst day of your life. I had very high hopes for this company and feel very let down. read more

At a time of tremendous emotional sadness, Tranquil Passing steps in to compassionately help with the passing of a beloved pet. My well-loved 16 year old cat had a stroke overnight, paralyzing him, and I knew what had to be done. I called Tranquil Passing, tearfully asking for help and, despite having no time available on their schedule, they worked us in. Two hours later, their wonderfully kind vet was at our door to put my suffering kitty down while I held him in my arms. It was gently and kindly done. I wish I could remember her name so I could thank her again. Another staff member then took over. He wrapped my Oliver gently in a blanket and took him away to their facility for aquamation so his ashes could be returned to me. Two weeks later, I picked up a lovely wooden box with his name carved into the lid that contained his ashes, a clipping of his hair, a medallion with his name imprinted on it, and a paw impression in clay, all to remember him by. The woman who gave me these items was as compassionate as everyone else. I am so grateful that these special people have chosen to do this for pet lovers like me. I don't know how I could have managed without their compassionate care. My thanks to them all. read more

They were very understanding and compassionate. We had to help our family cat to cross the rainbow bridge. I had to make the difficult decision to put my 12 year old Shepherd to sleep. From beginning to the end of this, Dianna, the first contact to Mike from Loving Paws and of course Dr. Lacey, this was the most difficult and yet the best experience. Peacefully, at home in her own bed my sweet girl passed over. Dr. Lacey was so compassionate and understanding. Gave us the time we needed to say good bye and always made sure we were comfortable with everything. I can't say enough about Tranquil Passing. read more

Dr Lacey was available for us less than 24 hours after our call. She was so kind and helped to ease our dear friend's way across the rainbow bridge. It was very comforting to us, knowing that Jordan could remain home in peace during this time, rather than be made to go into an unfamiliar environment during his last hour with us. Highly recommend. Thank you Dr. Lacey! read more

From our first contact with the office to Dr. Lacey's compassionate care, we felt completely cared about and did nothing but love our dog through her last days. Dr. Lacey was in contact with us, arrived promptly, and walked us through the entire process of saying goodbye to our precious old Molly right on our own front porch. It was the kindest, gentlest passing we could ever imagine. Tranquil Passings also set up Loving Paws cremation service to arrive shortly after we said good bye. What a blessing to have Tranquil Passing services allowing a calm, peaceful, and painless way for Millie to cross the Rainbow Bridge. As heartbreaking as it is to put down a loving member of our family Tranquil Passing 's services allows a process devoid of fear for our dog. What a wonderful service! Our kitty was able to avoid a final car trip and the anxiety that the vet office always gave her.

I had the unfortunate PLEASURE of doing business with tranquil passings this week when I had to make the the very difficult decision to put my 6 yr old Shepard mix named Emmy down, as she was in the end stages of heart failure and suffering greatly. I cannot say enough how much I appreciated the empathy and professionalism showed by Dr. Erica. My fur baby was able to pass peacefully in her favorite spot on the sofa, she wasn't scared and is no longer suffering. Dr. Erica explained everything she would be doing and how long it would take so there would be no surprises. She waited with me until the pet memorial company picked her up. I could not have asked for a better experience for something no one wants to have to do but is necessary to keep your furry babies from suffering. read more

I can't begin to say how wonderful this company is. Being able to spend your last minutes with your 4 legged family member at their home is the only way to say good bye to them. I highly recommend Tranquil Passing to anyone that has to make this difficult decision. Thank you Dr. Lacey and to all of you at Tranquil Passing! read more

I would highly recommend. With all things considered I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They were very respectful and patient. Answered all our questions. So much compassion. Our furbabies are family. We had been keeping our pup comfortable for a year had a half due to cancer. We didnt expect to get more than 3 months when she was diagnosed with cancer but she hung in there. We have been preparing ourselves for a while now. COVID really put a hang up on our decision since no one was doing home visits, understandably. However it was very important to our family that it was going to be peaceful at home where we could be with her. She needed to be surrounded by her humans and fur siblings. Tranquil Passing provided us that peace of mind. They are partnered with Loving Paws to help with after care and they were just as wonderful. Made sure to ask if we were ready and even offered for us to carry her out of we wanted. So gentle and respectful. My heart hurts for the loss of my Miika but she is at peace and pain free now. read more

During what was an extremely difficult time, Tranquil Passing was just wonderful. When my 17 year old kitty was nearing the end of her life, I was researching all possible options that would hopefully give her a peaceful, loving passing. I came across Tranquil Passing, and they sounded very professional and compassionate. I called them on a Tuesday to make an appointment on a Saturday. However, when I came home from work on Wednesday, my little old lady kitty was not well and I felt she would be suffering if she had to wait that long. I immediately called and asked if there was anyway we could move the appointment to something sooner. They were so understanding and accommodating, they came to my home that evening. I had never witnesses euthanasia before, so I didn't know what to expect. The vet that came to my house was so kind and completely explained everything both before and during. She treated my kitty with dignity and respect. Nobody wants to go through this kind of thing, but if you must, I can't say enough about Tranquil Passing. I have other pets and I will never say goodbye to them in any other way. read more
