The instructors are always checking your form during the exercises and make sure you get the most out of your workout. They also tailor the exercises to your strength or any limitations you may have. Having an owner who is -la physical therapist is a huge plus for a gym and you can tell based on the instructors he chooses. Surfaces appear clean, but accessories haven't been replaced in over two years and are often disgusting, with cockroaches sometimes found in the filthy mats. The owner's approach to sanitation is insufficient, providing only Renew moisturizing hand wash, which is not antibacterial, and Soluguard botanical spray. While Soluguard is EPA-registered to kill some household germs, it's a thyme oil-based product that doesn't provide the necessary level of infection protection against viruses like COVID or RSV in a gym setting. For the several months that TPWO was closed for the lock down, I was concerned how I was going to continue my journey of weight loss and fitness. However I was reassured that I would resume one on one and all the equipment is cleaned between each usage. I wear a mask as well as my trainer. I don't have a second thought about my, one on one session. I had my first workout after eight months and was worried how much I may have reverted. Which I did a little, but after a few sessions I have gotten to and have passed the previous weight I was lifting on a few of the machines! AMAZING! I have lost a great deal of weight since I began this journey, with Jennifer at TPWO, my blood pressure has reduced to better than recommended, I am in a much better mental place, I have tons of energy and am so happy to be working out again & I look forward to my next one on one sessions again!

I was looking for a nice and quiet gym with good personal trainers who understand my fitness level, health and put me on a fitness routine based on my needs and goals. That's when I found ATP fitness and reached out to the owner Baron. He guided me very well and assigned Nick as my trainer. Nick is a fantastic personal trainer who is not only highly knowledgeable about workout routines but also with diet/ nutrition. He is very kind, patient, thorough and really cares about his clients. He makes fitness enjoyable and creates a positive and motivating workout environment. He focuses on proper form and ensures that I exercise safely and effectively. He tailors the workouts to fit my specific goals and fitness level. He also put me on a diet plan suited to my dietary needs (vegetarian) with the goal to reduce weight, lose body fat and start building muscle mass. He gives constant feedback on my progress and reviews the workout plan frequently to ensure that I am on track. He helped me with my workouts during my travel using training videos and ensured I didn't have a long break. I am seeing drastic improvement in my fitness level and have dropped quite a few sizes! Although I've been going to gym since high school, my eating habits are not always ideal and I've always struggled with weight. At my April 2026 doctor's checkup I weighed the most I've ever been. Yikes! Some extreme lifestyle changes were needed, especially since I'm a dad juggling with a career. As a Yelper, I also need better health to enjoy good food , travel and enjoy life more! We signed up with Gil for 30, 1-hr private workouts. The results have so far been amazing - after 4 months, I lost about 20 pounds and feel better. Clothes feel looser and recent bloodwork showed great reduction in blood sugar. We recently re-signed for another 30 sessions based on excellent results to date. Here's why I recommend Underground Fitness if you are serious about weight loss: 1. Gil helps design a meal plan based on your target weight. Nothing too drastic - he reviews your daily meal and makes suggested changes and additions. In some cases you're adding food (hello egg whites and cottage cheese). 2. You get daily protein, carb, and fat targets that are easy to measure by uploading photos to any free AI agent - see Yelpers are naturally good at this! 3. Love the flexibility - weekly 1-hr sessions work best for me since I have access to my Corporate gym. Gil designs workouts each week via App that will guide you whether you work at home, travel, or have access to another gym. 4. The actual 1-hr workouts with Gil are brutal but you'll feel great afterwards. A mix of barbells, dumbbells, bands, cardio rowing/bikes, medicine balls, TRX, and pushing or pulling really heavy sleds. 5. With private training, you get a great coach and mentor in Gil, and can leverage his expertise to achieve your health goals. The cost is more expensive than a gym membership but if you want results, I believe the investment is well worth it.
