When I got my mini golden doodle puppy recently, Anthony was the first call I made to set up a private training session for him. It's great to start them off with excellent habits young and I was so happy to hear he's taking on new clients. In just ONE session, Anthony trained my goldendoodle puppy so well and taught me the parent interaction skills to get my goldendoodle to sit on command. Only 2 days after the first session, my puppy knew how to sit on command and I received so many compliments about how well behaved he is! Anthony uses positive conditioning and expert non-pain inflicting training practices to teach the pups, through good behavior, to become so well behaved while still maintaining the vibrancy of their unique personalities. Several sessions later and not only is my pup trained to stay quiet during my work Zoom calls, but I'm also geared with the parent skills and dog psychology knowledge (which Anthony has a PhD in animal psych in) taught to me by Anthony to maintain the sweet and tame nature of my puppy! I'm SO glad I got my puppy started on training with Anthony. My puppy is just as funny and sweet as ever, but my home is way calmer and the overall energy is far more peaceful and happy now since we've had our lessons with Anthony. Although I won free walking services we needed some extra days and their fees are more than reasonable. Having two Chihuahuas with different needs, I was nervous to hand them over to a dog walker for fear they would misbehave. In the end, Karen was really good with our pups and even sent us pictures of them while we were on vacation. She knew that out senior Chorkie had different needs than our feisty Chiweenie puppy and made every effort to give them both TLC. She even gave our cat some lovin when she came by the house. I was so very grateful to know that each one of my dogs was cared for in a special way while we were out of town. They got the walks they needed and my mind was at ease. I have tried other trainers in the past for my 8 month old maltipoo, and I have only seen results with Michaels guidance. My puppy has pretty intense separation anxiety and I was at a point where I couldn't even leave him unattended at all. He hated the crate and would howl nonstop. Finally I decided there were no options left and sent him to Michael for a 1 week training boot camp. It was the best money I've ever spent. I can now leave him during the day for up to 4 hours in the crate and he is totally fine. My puppy will also sleep through the night in his crate with no issues, no whining, nothing! He is a new dog and it's all because of Michael and his guidance. The best part is that when I have questions even now, I can text Michael and get a response as to why my dog is acting a certain way and how best to support my dog and troubleshoot the situation. Michael puts in the work, but it's up to me to enforce the lessons that my puppy has learned. Recently I had Michael come over for a single training session to help my dog as he seems to be a bit reactive towards other dogs when we go on walks. Within 24 hours I saw a difference in my puppy and how he acts when he is out in the world. Michael is professional, kind and most importantly has so much love for my puppy. I would highly recommend Kevin as a dog trainer!…read more My partner and i rescued a 18 monthish old Australian shepherd named Dune who had some bad habits that we needed help nipping in the bud. Dune would try to herd guests around the house by nipping at their butts (lol), had pretty bad separation anxiety (would panic and bark constantly after more than a few minutes alone), and had some leash reactivity and liked to pull constantly on walks pretty much all of that is solved now after a few sessions with Kevin! Kevin was able to move his schedule around and get us our first session like 2 days after we reached out and after the first 2 sessions his separation anxiety and nipping at people around the house were basically gone and after the first dedicated session to leash manners we got that mostly taken care of as well. When Kevin entered our lives we had a puppy that was dangerously food protective and generally unruly. We have had other dogs in the past that we traditionally trained.
