WSP loves our dogs as if they were their own. We've had numerous WSP employees come for potty breaks and walks, and our dogs have really taken to each of them, which for our rescues isn't always the case. Another plus with them is the online billing system. For a lot of small business dog walkers/pet-sitters, this isn't an option, but is a nice plus for us. Responses on booking requests are always prompt, and as some reviewers have said, they over communicate--which is always great when you're putting your furry family members in someone else's hands. read more

Like most pet owners, we wouldn't trust just anyone to take care of our two dogs, but upon meeting Cassie I knew they would be in good hands. Cassie has taken care of our dogs a few times while we've had to be out of town. She always sends a text with a photo of our dogs, and it's surprising how comforting that is. She also leaves a written note with details about their visit. It's adorable. It's so great to be able to submit a quick service request online, and within a day or two have confirmation via email that our sitter is available, the billing is taken care of, and we are all set. The prices are good too, but the peace of mind that our little guys have been walked, fed, and have received lots of love while we are away is truly priceless. read more

Jen and her team are AWESOME. I could end my review there as that's all that really needs to be said but I won't..... We have been using WSP every week for almost 8 months now and are extremely happy with the array of services we receive. We have 2 rescue dogs one of which has some issues with strangers and other dogs. From the moment we met with Jen she understood how to act around a dog with these issues, in fact she had her taking treats from her hand within 10 minutes which was amazing. We felt immediately at ease with Jen and trusted her not only with our dogs but with giving her a key to our home too. We have in the past had some issues with other 'dog people' who have been less than honest about their practices which added additional concern to us when we moved into the Ventura county area, these concerns were immediately wiped out when we started using WSP. It has always been a worry to us how we can adequately care for our rescue dogs (when we are at work) when one of them does 'issues' with strangers initially. We were worried no-one would be prepared to give them a chance. Jen was more than willing to help us with her and has in fact assisted greatly in training her with many of her anxieties and has helped her develop trust in numerous new people and situations. We have during the time working with WSP had 3 ppl walk our dogs, we have Jen being the main person and then 2 backup people (our little guy loves Sasha!!). She has always spent time introducing the backup people to the dogs and accompanying them on walks to ensure they follow the systems we have in our house and to make sure they understand our dogs and walk them correctly. All the people Jen has working for her seem to be real animal lovers and very trustworthy. It gives us peace of mind to know that the dogs will always be cared for and that WSP has our needs covered. Our dogs have also boarded with Jen or several occasions, we have always felt very comfortable with the treatment Jen provides and that they are having a great vacation with her whilst we are away on ours!! She always sends texts, photos and videos of 'the kids' and they are always having a great time!! There have been times since we got our 2nd rescue where we have had incidents between the 2 dogs whilst they were figuring out who was the alpha! On one early occasion they did have a fight one evening at our home which was very distressing to me and my partner. We didn't know how to deal with it or what to do - the next day we called Jen. She came over immediately to help us. She has such a calming yet assertive energy that made me regain my confidence in the situation and helped us greatly. Within 10 minutes she had provided the leadership the dogs needed to play happily together again, we have had no problems since that day after following her guidance. I have said numerous times she is way more than a dog sitter/Walker/Carer she has a true understanding of how dogs think and what they need. She really should do dog training too, she is more than capable!! Our pups get super excited when they see her and her team which we think speaks volumes for the care and attention they receive. Her business is extremely well run and organized. Jens system for invoicing and payments is easy to understand and the online functions are great. We can always review our schedule which she sends out and amend as we need to We love the WSP notebook they gave us which they fill in after each walk or daycare so we know how the kids did and what they got up to, great idea. They also text us so we know they got picked up and walked which sets our mind at ease. WSP always go the extra yard. Nothing is a problem to them and they always accommodate our needs. Our pups get super excited when they see Jen and her team which we think speaks volumes for the care and attention they receive - your can't fake that. I contacted WSP in a bit of a pickle. All my regular bunny-sitters weren't available and I needed to leave town in just a few short days. With all the good reviews on Yelp, I thought I'd see if they could handle something other than dogs and cats. Jen was quick to respond and I immediately felt comfortable after learning about their process for matching sitters to pets. They asked questions about my routine and personalities of my animals and was able to set me up with Laura who had experience with rabbits. Since Joe (my Rhodesian Ridgeback - for those of you who don't know) is my constant companion and cherished pet, I had a lot of trepidation about hiring someone to walk him. Walk Stay Play (WSP) will ask you to fill out some forms and they want details. They also do an intake to meet you and evaluate your pet - in your home. She also wants to ensure the safely of her employees, so she'll want to meet you and the other people who may reside with you. I get that and respect it. So, I hired them. Tiffany is Joe's sitter and he just adores her. Here's what you can expect from Walk Stay Play: 1. A professional company with high standards and integrity. They'll earn your trust and you will experience the peace of mind all loving pet owners need. 2. Reliability. Tiffany is right on time, cheerful, careful, attentive and professional. She texts me pics of Joe during his walks with her and boy, does he look happy! 3. Convenience. Just give them 24 hours notice if you need to change the time and they usually can accommodate - although of course they have strict guidelines about scheduling and cancellations - it's not a free for all. 4. Prices are very reasonable and they'll just charge your credit card and provide you with a statement prior to doing so. They offer all kinds of services. If I ever have to go out of town for work or play, I would completely trust them to take care of my baby. WSP is the absolute best for your pets. I am so thankful that I found them. I cannot say enough good things about Jen and her wonderful staff. I found Jen and WSP from a referral/friend who had used their services for her cat. She spoke highly of them and now I know why. I had unfortunate experiences with other walkers in the past who forgot to come, kennels that were overpriced and my dog came home ill, etc. I have a high standard of service and WSP has exceeded it! I had meet-n-greets with the walkers and my dogs and a full consultation with each of them in my home, before we began services. I felt completely comfortable leaving my basset and saint bernard with all of super sweet ladies who I could tell, loved animals. My basset had some prior health issues and all of the sitters listened and took careful notes for her meds, etc. and took extra special care of her until she was well. They are always there when I need them. A few times I have had to ask for last minute help and I am always accommodated with nothing but kind, friendly service. I have had a few of their sitters care my my girls. Laura, Talia, and Evelyn are excellent and been so good to my doggies. They treat them like I do with love and affection and care. They are prompt and leave me notes about their visits so I know how my girls did when I was away. It's so nice to have them come to my home rather than having to take them somewhere else. There is always an alternate for the schedule just in case someone can't make it that day (with notice of course) for some reason. How great is that? I always know that someone wonderful will be here and loving my dogs. I highly recommend them to anyone who cares about their fur-kids and wants them to be well taken care of. Suzy and Rachel were our sitters and they were great. From the introductory visit of meet and greet owner and dogs, to receiving notes about out our pups and photos of them playing while we were away, everything was taken care of. Our dogs didn't have to board and they had between one and two visits a day from WSP depending on our daughter's work hours. The girls went the extra mile, taking our reluctant little dog out into the big wide world for a walk, and cleaning up the puppy pee pad he destroyed and threw around the house! Usually my larger dog doesn't eat in the kennels, but he was nice and chubby when we returned from our holiday so he was obviously happy with WSP visiting. Even the neighboring doggy walkers we see daily were impressed when they met the WSP girls walking our dogs. Due to Suzy and Rachel's efforts we will definitely be using WSP's services again. I have been a customer of WSP for at least 4 years as I was in search of a reliable service for those days when I could not be home in the day to walk and feed my dog. I have always been thrilled with their service as Dominique, our usual sitter, always writes detailed reports of her visit as well as texts me photos of my happy dog eating. However this past weekend, they went over the top in service. My father passed away on Saturday afternoon. I had to fly to Florida on Sunday. Cassie has been walking our guy since he was around 6 months old, and still with us almost 2 years later. Whenever Cassie isn't available, we always have Karli. They're both amazing! Karli and Dominique took care of my old Oso, who is a 13 yr old lab, while I went away for 2 weeks. He can barely walk or see but still has enthusiasm for life.
