Fay has an area just for her furry guests which was something our previous boarders did not have. You could tell just by talking to her that she truly loves what she's doing. She gave updates with pictures & videos throughout the day! Since that first drop off (he stayed 5 days), I have dropped him off for daycare & he stayed another 4 days, he is happy to arrive at her house! He just loves it! So different from that first drop off! He already has a favorite toy & has made friends! I can't say enough about her! So happy to have found her, wish we had found her sooner! She is just the best!

They are very reliable, communicate excellently, true animal lovers and send great pix after every walk. They also do boarding which is so incredible because it is very one on one and my dogs always have the BEST time whenever they are boarded with Kat! I've had some pretty flakey experiences and a horrible one with WAG where I caught the walker on his phone the entire walk and not paying attention to my dogs. My dogs are always super thrilled to see Kat and her team and that is important to me. I would highly recommend this great pet walker and sitter to anyone with an animal they love!!

This was our first trip since our last pet sitter had ended their services, but we know we have found a new friend we can trust our pets with.

I wish I had known about Kristin of Cognitive Dogs training program when I first rescued Charlie…read more The poor guy struggled with severe leash and fence reactivity, and every time he saw another dog, the barking was deafening. People would literally come out of their homes to see what was happening. After nine months, seven different trainers (yes, seven), and wasting a ridiculous amount of money, I felt helpless. With our honeymoon just a few weeks away and nowhere to board him, I tried a couple Rover daycare places that also did boarding, but we were turned away because of his reactivity. Desperate and super sad for him, I scoured the internet for trainers and dove into every single review. That's when I came across Kristin of Cognitive Dogs and decided to reach out. I was skeptical after so many disappointments, but during our consultation, she was so thorough, patient, and confident in her abilities that I decided to schedule an 8-week board and train. In the weeks leading up to when we handed Charlie off to her, she sent very thorough, organized emails with instructions on what to pack and what to expect. During the training, she answered texts promptly, sent photos and progress videos, and kept us updated without overdoing it. It was clear her focus was on actually training my dog, not just sending staged pictures and video updates. When she brought Charlie back, I was nervous but hopeful. The difference was unbelievable. He's still the same silly boy, but now he's attentive, obedient, and can calmly handle seeing and passing by other dogs. His leash manners and overall confidence have completely transformed him into the dog I could only dream of since we rescued him almost a year ago. Kristin's program is the only one that truly worked for us, and I can't recommend her enough. Dog training is always an investment, but this one is absolutely worth it.

Ha. Wakame is going to be 8 years old and she NEVER stayed at a "boarding home" before so I was EXTREMELY picky and hesitant. She's had a few health issues as well, and the idea of leaving my only child with a place full of pups really caused me anxiety... Ami's place however, brought me comfort that I didn't think would exist in a dog boarding zone. It's very intimate, and I could tell that Wakame got the love she deserved while she was away, including lots of walks, treats, and bonding with other dogs. Her humble abode has dogs that are "zen". So if your dog is also mellow, chill, and needs lots of attention. This is the next best thing to taking your dog with you. It's like a mini vacation for your pooch as well! Ami will also send you updates - she may not have a video cam that the bigger chains provide, but I would trade that for the comfort and relief I had with Ami's sweet demeanor. You can tell she absolutely LOVES dogs and isn't just there because she needs the paycheck. She's there because she loves her job, and she is also selective with the dogs she will take in, which is a PLUS. She will also send you photos throughout the day and is very available when you text, call, or email. Very good communication. I initially was going to house Wakame only from Mon-Thurs, but BECAUSE of Ami's hospitality, I pushed my stay through Saturday. I can't recommend this place enough, but I think Wakame misses her!
