Heavily seasoned stale popcorn. Shame on you Trail's End for having scouts fundraise with this inferior product. You can do better?
Harrison L.

UGH! I just munched on a newly opened bag of Trail's End Flavored Popcorn. Had to spit out over-seasoned, salty, stale, and very spicy popcorn. It was the worst! However,I will continue to donate $20.00 directly to my neighborhood Cub Scout but NOT to buy popcorn! Will make sure100% goes to the Scouts. Why Trail's End can't make a decent $20/popcorn product in the name of the scout for fundraising is quite puzzling. I love good popcorn but this Trail's End is the worst! Shame on you TE.

The bar code sends you here. Basically a home made website to generate more money with absolutely no information.

I love to support kids but this is a complete rip off! $20 for a $3 bag of popcorn. I scan the bar code on bag that states: see where the profits go and it's only a website to order more or sign up to sell popcorn. This is a scam. Stick to the girl scouts!

Is that the expiration date? It's 2019, I hope not.

Purchased this outside of Lowe's this weekend for $20.00 bucks. But hey, I try to support the kids. Got it home and did what I always do, looked for an expiration date. Please tell me this is not what it is. 2004? I wonder where it has been for 15 years? I'm tossing it out regardless. I'm not taking any chances.

Expired bag of caramel popcorn I bout this summer in 2019 YUCK!
Angie C.

Not sure who is at fault here. Did this brand distribute a bunch of expired products or did the Boy Scouts bulk buy these items and sell them off? Regardless this is a big issue.

Worst I ever had!,,

Popcorn was bland and had a lot of hard kernels. $25 for a bag was too much. Would've rather just donated the money to the kid

A few months ago I was in a snacky mood but really didn't want to eat the kids' crummy school-safe granola bars. Deep in the bowels of the pantry was the glorious bag of banana puddin' popcorn, which I ate in its entirety. It was all I could do to not cut open the bag and lick the banana puddin' dust from it. (I did not do that. I'm a strong, independent woman.) How do I describe this stuff? Sweet, salty, chewy with just the right amount of give. More flavorful than your average Cavendish but not cloying and fake like a Laffy Taffy. Flash forward three months and I'm still thinking about this stuff. I'm having a hard time justifying importing my personal snacks from Austin, but am already game-planning a bulk order for the holidays. Or a trip to Austin.

The two primary types of popcorn are regular or classic popcorn and gourmet popcorn. Regular popcorn is characterized by its simplicity and affordability, while gourmet popcorn offers a more sophisticated and diverse range of flavors, often with premium ingredients. Gourmet popcorn typically includes premium popping corn, high-quality oils, and a diverse range of seasonings and coatings. Ingredients can vary widely depending on the flavor, ranging from truffle oil and parmesan for savory options to caramel and chocolate for sweet varieties. The popcorn served here by definition is gourmet. I purchased the banana pudding popcorn. This popcorn has a creamy texture after the initial crunch of the popcorn dissipates. This particular flavor may be ideal for those who enjoy snacks that are sweet (banana pudding sweet) and yet still provide the crunch many seek when looking for a snack. #supportlocal

There is a display of each bag size near the front filled with popcorn so you can see how much you get with the smallest to the biggest which is a nice touch. They have bulk candy and soda's as well. There is some neat and fun decor and a whole throwback vibe. It was a cool place to visit, glad we did. Chances are we will be back at some point, No other customers while we were there. The gentleman running the place was very nice and patient as we took our time looking over everything. My wife picked 4 types of popcorn and got small bags of each. I can't remember all that she picked but the ZILKER PARK was the best of the four. I would suggest checking this place out,

We walked in and the aroma was absolutely amazing! We were greeted by a very nice woman (I didn't catch her name), who asked if we'd been there before. I let her know this was our first time and she told us about all the different flavors, and how the pricing works. She gave us several samples, and anything we asked for she was more than happy to give us a taste. We tried the dill, Sriracha, buffalo, sea salt and dark chocolate, zebra, and puppy chow..(I THINK that's all, we tried a LOT). All were just as tasty as the last! We settled on a bag of dill, a bag of Sriracha, and she mixed the sea salt and dark chocolate with the zebra in a bag for us. The customer service was top notch, and the popcorn is amazing! I'd recommend this place to anyone!

The entire experience lasts about 90 minutes, and they did start a few minutes late. They did a good job describing the cheeses, the other paired snacks, and the wine pairings. They also did a good job choosing a good variety of cheeses and giving good pairings. The table crackers are refilled throughout the tasting, but nothing else on the cheese plate is refilled. The setup was not quite what I expected. There are six tables that seat ~six people, so you're going to be sitting with strangers. You start by going around the room and introducing yourself and your favorite cheese, basically as an ice breaker to meet everyone there. It was a little noisy and not intimate for a 2-person outing. It felt much more like a social gathering, and I think it would be better as a friend meeting, group gathering, or even a team-building activity. It's also a good way to meet strangers if that's what you're looking for. You get a discount on in-store purchases, which is a nice bonus. You can also take your leftovers home, so don't feel compelled to eat the entire plate like I did! The only other issue was that cashing out took a long time at the end because their POS system wasn't working well.
