I experienced damage to a wheel hub on my dual axle trailer in Ashland OR. Had a shop there install brakes all around while they were repairing it. Heading back home to the Bay Area, by the time I got to Mt. Shasta another hub was heating up. I spoke to Troy, a mobile mechanic in Weed. He was booked and, lacking other options in the area, I decided to limp down to civilization (Redding) where my odds of finding help would increase. Troy referred me to All Wheel. Four hours and 65 miles later, I limped into their lot, hoping against hope for an appointment sometime in the next week. I spoke to Rizzy, an outstanding gentleman with a heart of gold. Much to my surprise, within a short time he had Brian inspecting all of my axles. As it was late in the day, we decided it would be best to finish in the morning. As others have mentioned, I was graciously offered the option to spend the night, which I gladly accepted. Throughout the process they kept me in the loop as to what they were doing to diagnose and eventually fix the problem. They found two issues that the previous shop was responsible for, and by noon the next day I was heading back home to the Bay Area. I could not have asked for better service. I did just that and loved the personality and efforts from the lovely Krista. She's learning the sales ropes and did a great job. She was eager to assist my level of energy and crazy and made me want to purchase from this company just to support her. Great customer service Krista! I hope Danielle and Kevin are able to earn that fifth review star from me, by getting me into a trailer from them. After LOTS of looking we finally found our trailer at the Anderson TowTally camping. Christa helped us when we were ready. It was a smooth process, and they did negotiate down some in the price. I asked if $179 would go towards the $2000 -$3000 of work that would end up needing to have to be done. Told them he had replaced the fuel injectors within the past year, lift pump within the past two years and believes it's most likely the pressure pump but does not have the scanner required to do the other diagnostics that need to be done. My boyfriend called around after dropping his truck off around 9 am. I sat like a fly on the wall listening. My BF asked about his truck the person on the phone sounded annoyed when they told him "I'm with a customer can you hold?" He came back on the phone and proceeded to tell my BF that they aren't really sure what the problem is but they think possibly 3 of the injectors failed and would have to charge around ballpark of 400$ to take them all out to test them, but it could be the pressure pump they don't know for sure. Long story short he called up Jefferson State diesel (JSD) where he had purchased the injectors to begin with. The friendly staff member answered, "Good afternoon, (introduced himself) and asked how he could help. He referred to my BF formally calling him Mr (and used his last name)." He was so professional far stretch from J and H performance. He informed my BF his injectors were under warranty and would be glad to help. My BF then called back J and H performance and explain to him that he would go ahead and pick up his truck. He asked what the charge would be. J and H performance told my boyfriend that they worked on his truck for four hours total. There was no diagnosis which is the whole point of bringing it in. They told him what he already knew. Apparently on the receipt there was only a few items that show what they had done which was hook up some scanners and they told him they worked four hours on his truck and charged $375. NO WAY When my bf told him he was very unhappy with that price considering there was no diagnosis.. the guy told him, "well what do you want us to charge you?" Then proceeded to get rude and state, "just come get your truck and don't come back here." My BF told him "oh no I don't expect anything for free. I know you did some work, I'd like to pay you for but 375$ is ridiculous!" My BF paid the full bill needless to say he won't be returning and I would not recommend them, myself personally, to anybody just based on what I had witnessed with my own eyes and ears. The "black" shell they tried to sell me was originally painted white and spray painted black. It looked horrible. What a joke. Waste of time. Don't go here.
