    WAY over price rollers I replaced.

    Can't speak about the appliances and sales at Trail, but the Parts department can get bent. Coy sales rep and WAY over inflated price on the dryer rollers I needed to purchase to fix my dryer. Kudos for having the parts, but at almost triple the cost for the same parts from Amazon. I didn't have time to wait for an Amazon delivery, so this speaks to poor Samsung parts and me not ordering a second parts kit. These components are engineered to fail. Straight up will not purchase parts / service or new appliances from Trail simply based on Samsung roller mark-up. Will order from Amazon in advance b/c they'll need to be replaced again.

    DO NOT BUY FROM SMS APPLIANCES!!!…read more In September 2024, I purchased an $800 LG fridge from SMS Appliances for my basement suite. The fridge was delivered and plugged in by their staff. The unit remained unused while finishing touches were completed on the suite. Upon move-in, my tenant and I discovered that both the fridge and freezer were completely non-functional. I contacted SMS Appliances, but they refused to assist, claiming their 30-day warranty had expired. They offered a technician visit at my expense, so I scheduled one for February 13th. When the technician arrived, he only spoke Ukrainian, making communication difficult. While working, he caused a strong gas smell, alarming both me and my tenant. It turned out he was leaking refrigerant into the unit. He completed the repair in 30 minutes, and I was charged $241. On March 15th, my tenant reported the freezer had stopped working again. I called SMS five times, left three voicemails, and finally got a response from the manager. He agreed to consider my complaint under their 30-day repair warranty (since February has only 28 days). He initially scheduled a technician for March 17th but later changed the date multiple times, offering vague assurances. When I expressed frustration over paying over $1,000 for a fridge that never worked properly, the manager was dismissive and laughed at my concerns. He insisted the issue wasn't refrigerant-related and that I would likely need to pay for additional repairs--despite the fridge never functioning properly since purchase. When I declined further service, he responded with indifference. SMS Appliances' lack of accountability, poor customer service, and minimal 30-day warranty reflect their questionable business practices. Other refurbished appliance stores offer 12-18 month warranties, and I strongly urge Calgary consumers to take their business elsewhere.

I just spent 200 dollars on my carpet cleaning prior to delivery this is horrible customer service! and don't recommend these delivery guys in anyones homes .

After hearing nothing, we had to follow up ourselves--only to be told the delivery wouldn't happen until the end of June. This was a huge discrepancy from what was promised at the time of purchase. After raising the issue, we were offered the floor model instead. Given that this was already due to their error and that a floor model has been used by many customers, I requested a discount, which was declined. When the couch was finally delivered, it arrived with multiple black marks on it--completely unacceptable for a full-price item. To make matters worse, after sending three follow-up emails with no response, I was essentially ghosted. I only received a reply after contacting a different customer service channel, at which point I was told they "never received" my emails. The only resolution offered was an $80 refund--which isn't even close to reasonable given the condition of the couch and the overall experience. (Not even 10% discount). Between the misleading delivery timeline, lack of accountability, poor communication, and damaged product, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. I would strongly caution others before purchasing from this store.

    Calgary this is a hidden gem!! The name may be deceiving they sell all kinds of home appliances…read more Pretty much any appliance manufactured in the world you can get it here. This place is unique because they are non-commissioned sales. The sales people genuinely want to know your needs and what you are looking for. They have an abundance of knowledge of the products in the market and want to find something suitable for you. Unlike other appliance stores that may try to upsell you on more features you don't need. We were in there on a Saturday afternoon and our salesman spent about an hour with us helping us select the right washer & dryer, and dishwasher for us. He did a great job of telling us about all of the different options that could work for us. That kind of service you will not get at your big box store. Best of all the prices here are very reasonable. I think we got lucky finding this place at the home & design show combined with a bunch of sales going on at the time. At the home show they had given out coupons to save the gst which we also took advantage of. This is the only place I will shop for appliances for in the future!

Unfortunately, most stores would not even answer the phone, and Sears said they would not have it in stock til late September. Enter The Laundry Store, who not only answered the phone AND had the model in stock, but also informed us that a far cheaper model was every bit as good, and would be a better replacement for our old Malber. They saved us nearly $1000, and delivered our new machine around noon the very next weekday. Delivery, installation and removal of our old model was quite affordable, and took only a few minutes. We've called them once since with an operating question, and received an answer immediately. The machine works well, so we are very happy we took the staff's advice to save some money!
