Avoid! Literally go anywhere else. Ashley furniture is corrupt and a scam. The incompetent staff member, Gemma from the NE location "measured" a clearance ottoman and said it would fit perfect. Gemma, the hollow-minded employee helped me and my partner build a modular sectional. She had our measurements and said this oversized ottoman will fit perfectly and said when it's pushed up against the couch it will be a giant bed. She pushed us to buy it and said it will fit, it will be perfect. When we looked at other options, she kept pushing the clearance ottoman. That should have been a red flag that she is conning us. Looking at the photos, does that giant ottoman fit and is flush like a giant bed? Absolutely not. We had it delivered on Nov.1 and I called immediately and told the delivery team to take it away and they refused and said to call the store. I have called nearly every day to try and solve this, and they refuse to return it, refuse to call me back, and refuse to credit me to find an ottoman that is small and will fit. I also made the grave mistake of ordered a sofa and love seat. The love seat came damaged. See the photos. They will not be providing me with a new couch but instead proceed with janky patchwork. I called November 1 right when the damaged furniture was unpacked by their delivery team. I followed the steps via text to address the damaged couch and they kept insisting I provide a serial number. Well, this couch doesn't have a serial number. After going back and forth explaining there is no serial number on the couch nor its cushions, I asked them if they want me to make up a serial number. After that, they ordered the patch (10 days since I submitted the claim) and insist it will be delivered. Once it's delivered I will have to be home from work to be here for when they "fix" the couch. So not only do I have a $300 ottoman that doesn't fit because Gemma doesn't know how to use a measuring tape or know how to do her job competently, I will have to be home from work for the semestres to patch up the damage that the delivery crew made. They did assure me that my brand new furniture, after the patchwork, will look like showroom condition. This comment restored my faith, knowing that my new furniture will look like the garbage in their showrooms that have thousands of asses distorting the cushions. Purchased Larce couch Feb 10th, 2025. I got it at the beginning of March. The April chaise lounge was sunk in after 1 month. A representative came out and changed cushions on all pieces. They said if the 5-year warranty is not taken, lesser cushions are given instead of the high-density cushion. I had a couch for 10 years, gave it to my son as it was still in great shape and he needed a couch. It was a couch from The Brick, still in better shape than this couch. The cushion was replaced with medium grade, as we didn't pay for the 5-year warranty to get high density. After 6 months, it was sinking (we are not heavy people; I am 5'6', 135 lbs, and my spot). I called again, and the only way to get the high-density cushion is to buy it for $170 after tax, after already paying $3,700 for furniture. Ok, I have done that and they gave us 3 business days 2 weeks ago. I called many times, as their chat site doesn't work. So they recommend texting with pictures to their number. This site now rejects any pictures being sent. I also purchased a large ottoman with the set, and the seam is coming apart. I'm not having much luck with the response regarding it. They have repeatedly said their policy is that they will not replace the product, only "apply a stain remover". My issue is not a stain but a white couch covered/sewn with green thread. This has been the worst shopping experience l've had in my 10 years in Canada. Due to their inability to deliver on time, l requested a refund. I called customer service three times, and not only was their attitude very poor, but I also received three different responses. The first time, I was told to go to the store for a refund. When I called again, l was told the store couldn't process it and that I had to apply through the phone. On my third call, they informed me that the refund process would take three days, followed by an additional 2-5 days. I can't understand why I couldn't receive my order on time and yet still can't get my money back promptly. I was ghosted by the salesman and the "tech" that delivered. Guest "care" is horrible. i paid for a protection plan and have received no service. In my area of the city they only send out techs on Wednesdays. No flexibility...has to be on a Wednesday. If you aren't available..,nothing they can do. Upon delivery of my order I was informed that to bring it into the house I would have had extra charges, of which I was unaware. I would have gladly paid the extra charge has I known. When I called customer service is was told that the salesman should have told me. Having purchased it online, it was listed as NO assembly required so I assumed it would be delivered and put into the appropriate room. I purchased the Haddigan dining table, 4 chairs and a bench. It looked so nice... for a short time. Within 6 -8 months I noticed little chips and cracks on table top. It worsened quickly. The store manager advised me to contact Customer Care which I did. I sent them pictures and all information they requested. Several days later the table was picked up to be refinished or resurfaced (I forget the exact term) and very soon was returned . I was very pleased with the results of the repair but my satisfaction was short lived. Within a few months the chips returned. I again contacted Customer Care. The male representative was very rude and condescending. He basically told me it was tough luck for me because I didn't purchase the extra warranty. I reminded him that the problem started within the one year warranty and that it is obviously a defective piece of furniture. He continued to be obnoxious so I discontinued the conversation. I went back to where I bought it, Ashley's on 64th , with pictures to show, but that was a waste of my time. We are done with Ashley Furniture. They no longer take pride in what they sell. They also take no responsibility for the actions of their sales people. This is the second time we have made a purchase and been lied to. We purchased a sectional sofa that was on sale. We were told it was leather on the parts that touched your body and colour matched fabric on the parts that don't touch you, like the back side of the sofa and sides. Our sofa material started to separate and peel... badly. We covered it with a blanket and it continued to peel. We had been SOLD the warranty protection and now that we are trying to make a claim we are being told the sofa is vinyl and not leather at all...anywhere. Ashley can just get away with continually lying to their customers and they do not offer compensation for this. The warranty had been denied and we have no recourse. Mark my words... we will NEVER buy from Ashley Furniture again. Our original bedroom set from 2008 is still in excellent condition, but our second purchase of a bed/mattress that we purchased years later was no where near the same quality AND we were lied to by the sales rep then too. It was very expensive and required repair to their supports that came with the bed because they could not support the weight of the mattress. I purchased a sofa and table set, and a rug in September which included a free Roomba due to a promotion happening at the time. We were promised that we would receive an email for the Roomba shortly after we got the furniture, but even after months of calling and emailing we never got anything. They have poor customer service, and never called back to address my concerns and it was an overall bad experience. It is now almost the next year, and they have not followed up. I will share with you my experience with this store and let you judge for yourself, personally, if you value your money don't wast it at Ashley home store. I made a couple of different furniture purchases with Ashley homes during the month of June 2020. The sales experience was excellent, after making the order the first few items arrived pretty quickly within 2 weeks time of the order, with few bumps on the road, the store failed to leave a note for the delivery that I paid for the white glove. We have been expecting some delays due to COVID19 and the disruption of the global supply chains. We received a call from customer care 2 weeks ago letting us know that the rest of the items would take 3 months to be delivered with some items not showing any delivery date. Knowing that we had a bed delivered without its mattress, it would only be natural to request a cancellation of the mattress as the bed today is not usable without a mattress. The store didn't try to find a solution or propose alternative products instead they explained that if we are not happy we can proceed with the cancellation or wait until late September and that we will be charged a 10% restocking fee. My understanding of restocking fees is applied to a product that is available or that have been shipped to the customer or on their way. How can a restocking fee be applicable for a product that is not available and for which the store has failed to provide a delivery time for. Overall they just don't care about the customer, the moment you make the purchase you get to see the real customer experience ( hell ), I had to call and follow up with the store, they take your call tell you they are going to do X,Y, and Z or call you back but you will not hear from them until you call them ( in my case, it wanted to see if they would follow up, I waited 2 weeks to find out that they had 0 plans on calling me back or sending me any updates ). this review is about the customer service experience if you want to know about the quality of the products feel free to look at the attached pictures of my daughter's bed. #AshleyHomeStore #poorcustomerservice read more

This was my first and last time to purchase anything from them. 20 days of delays, 3 times delivery schedule change, they only give 48 hours after the date of purchase to cancel your order plus 25% of purchase price is gone. After all these troubles, they show up, the footboard for my bed is missing and the driver doesn't ssemble the handles for the storages, leaving them in the package hiding in the storage. I kept calling, got hung up 2 times, they won't let to reach out to their managers for your issue. Eventually, it was scheduled to bring the footboard, then they automatically without confirmation from you changes the delivery date. Discrepancy of information. I have recorded all of my calls and did screenshot my chat with them and I will try to get this viral so it doesn't happened to anyone else. Our home is furnished almost completely with Ashley HomeStore furniture purchased in 2002, 2009, and 2020. Customer service has noticeably declined over the years. What was the best service in 2002 was not a good experience in 2020. Most recently, we inquired as to recommendations for damage repairs. Three months later, no reply. If you want customer service, or even a reply, do not use Ashley. Update: Twice now someone claiming to represent Ashley HomeStore has provided an email contact that does not work. After 4 months, Ashley still has no clue about the delivery date. I have completed my stay and am moving, so I really don't need this furniture now. The service at this furniture store is atrocious!! We recently bought 2 sodas and one sofa bed at Ashley. Upon delivery the delivery service noticed that one of the back cushions had a defective zipper. We contacted the sales person multiple times with no response. We went to the store and they tried to tell us that we did not notify them with 48nhiyrd. The delivery guy wrote it directly in the shipping bill. I've never experienced such terrible customer service post purchase. My furniture was delivered and assembled on the same day that I was moving in to my new home. I realized that they delivered the wrong bedroom furniture And I have been trying to get hold of them for over 10 days and have left numerous messages Using their client care service because there is no way to contact the store directly. BUYER BEWARE!!! This is not the Ashleys homestore that once had a great reputation. I recently spent alot of money in this store furnishing an entire home. Many of the items came damaged. I had bought the protection plan and contacted their care service. After waiting months for a technician to finally come out just to see one defective item. He looked for two minutes, and declared it a manufacturer defect, but within Ashley home stores standards. By doing this they no longer have to honor their protection plan and refuse to do anything about. The technician actually tried to convince me that the individual sections of a sectional don't line up, and it's perfectly normal for a section to be an inch or more higher or lower than the section next to it, and for the support legs to not be touching the ground. I still have more items that are set to be delivered that were ordered in December, and items already here that are waiting for a technician to repair. Do not waste your money! The sales staff do not return calls, the guest service are rude and refuse to help, the technicians are lazy and will declare it a manufacturer defect so they are enable to fix it. read more

I would like to warn anyone from using this company. The products they sell are made with the cheapest of materials, the delivery service is terrible and if you have any damage to your new items it is a fight to get them replaced. I have never dealt with such a dishonest and money grabbing company ever before. They will not replace broken furniture and will try to repair the damages by colouring in the area and telling you that it is fixed. And even when it is damaged beyond repair you can not return your broken item without a restocking fee. If the item is damaged then it is not being restocked. Sales people are great, but of course they want the sale. The real joke is once the sale is made, and their outsourced logistics "Guest Care" kicks in. Terrible communication, missed deliveries, and basically rude disastrous customer service. A $10,000 order and we received absolutely no consideration for our situation after their scheduled deliver time was missed and we were told the whole thing would have to be rescheduled. The thing is we were in no hurry for the furniture but we're told it had arrived and was going to be delivered. We did all the steps of confirmation, we're giving an exact delivery window and booked time off work. With no communication whatsoever 3 hours after our window we were called and told it wasn't coming. We had gotten ridden of all of our furniture in anticipation to make room. I have received the worst customer service of my life from Ashley Homestore. All my furniture is from there; quite literally 100%. I can absolutely say I would recommended NO ONE to buy any type of furniture, applicance or tool from here. Do not associate yourself with this company in any way. This is daylight robbery. I have been a loyal customer for 15+ years and they use me to their advantage and rob me like I am nothing. People like us are the reason your horrible company remains intact. Note: I payed for the premium plus warranty when I bought my vinyl leather couches. A hefty cost, might I add. This location told me if I ever had a problem with the couches, or wanted to file a warranty claim to call them. My couches began to fade to a lighter brown colour, separate at the seams, and the vinyl in between the cushions is quite literally ripping and tearing. I called them and the first associate I spoke to told me that it had nothing to do with them and that I had to go to the Ashley website and connect with the live chat and submit my pictures. So that's what I did. They said they'd get back to me within 24-48 hours. 3 days later-no response. So I called again. The second associate I spoke to said I had to call guest care. No problem, but why did they first associate lead me in the wrong direction? I called guest care. They gave me a number to text pictures of the damaged areas on my couch to. Said they'd get back to me within 24-48 hours. They did, but they said colour changing of leather is not covered. Though they didn't say anything about the ripping of leather or seam separation. I called guest care back and asked. They said in the photos I sent there was no indication about seam separation or rips, so she said she would make a note on the file and get a technician to take a look at the photos again. She said she'd get back to me within 24-48 hours. 4 days later, no response. I called back. This is where it gets frustrating. The associate said when I asked guest care to make a note about the seam separation and rips didn't put anything into my file, and didn't tell a technician to look at it. She hung up the phone after telling me she would and didn't. This associate apologized for the other associates actions, and made a note on the file. She said she'd get back to me in 24-48 hours again, and they didn't after 4 days. Again. I called back again. Double frustration this time. The lady who answered was the same lady who didn't make a note on my file. She didn't state her name. She asked for my phone number and then went on mute for a few minutes. Not hold, mute. No hold music. I figured she was looking at the file. 10 minutes pass and I say hello? And she hung up the phone. I called back and a different associate picked up. This associate told me they were still looking at it, and that he, personally, would be getting back to me in 3 days. He never got back to me. 4 days later I called back. The same lady who hung up on me answered the phone. I asked for an update and she hung up on me AGAIN. I called back the next day. A different associate answered and booked a technician to come to my house. The technician came. He said he will submit the claim, and guest care will get back to us. The technician had nothing to do with it, it is between us and guest care. The technician was a lovely man and did everything he could to make it work for us. Guest care texted back within 15 minutes of the tech leaving. They said peeling and cracking is not covered under the plus warranty. It reads on my warranty paper as follows: Accidental rips, tears, or cuts not caused by pets... vinyl portion, . I called back to asked what the difference was between rips and tears and peeling and cracking. To me, they sound like different words used to convince people that they don't cover this. Ripping and peeling are synonymous. The guest care worker didn't think so. They refused to give my money back or do anything else about the problem. They robbed me of my money and time. DONT!! Quality isn't good, I spent thousands of $$ on living room, dining room and bedrooms. And have issues with 75% of what I bought! VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Customer service is horrible! Couch- Couches squeak, I got 4 pillows that aren't wrapped, so I can't wash them. If u have any pets be prepared to constantly re puff the back cushions on your couch, they don't hold their shape AT ALL!!! Dining room table - says it's wood but it's not!!
